Hotel berhampiran JR Minami-Kamishiro station, Hakuba

Great experience staying here for a week. Booked not long ago so price was higher and without meals. Stayed in the special room with private onsen which was fantastic.

Hotel Abest Hakuba, from a skiers perspective. Staff 5 stars, hotel 2 stars A mixed bag of a hotel. It is not ski in/ski out, as claimed on some websites. The walk to the lift station is a few hundred yards uphill and can be challenging in snow and ice. There is no housekeeping, let alone daily, again as claimed on some websites. You have to get clean towels at reception and the rooms are not cleaned or serviced during your stay. With people leaving and arriving daily the corridors are often strewn with dirty laundry, which isn't ideal in a relatively small area.. Our room, with en-suite shower/bath and toilet was small, which is fairly typical of ski resorts, but there was no storage. No cupboards or drawers, at all, just 5 coat hangers in an open space, and only half a toilet roll in the bathroom. The toilet roll is shockingly flimsy and cheap, disintegrating as soon as it comes into contact with anything remotely moist (although this may be common in Japan rather than a hotel specific issue). There was nowhere to put wet ski gear on return from skiing. The ski storage room has no heat and does not even have heated rods to put ski boots on, so if you return with wet boots then that is what you have to look forward to in the morning. The beds, and pillows were rock hard, like sleeping on cement. Bedding was stained. The food is a mixture, some decent, some less so, but always let down by most of it being cold, even if you arrived dead on time for breakfast or your evening meal. The food is buffet style and is laid out in open plates, so immediately loses any heat. Surely a simple fix to put it out in catering style containers with lids? Some positives: The staff were all really excellent – relentlessly cheerful, helpful and hard working. They were happy to help resolve any problems and provided padded mattress toppers to help with the concrete bed issue. One staff member even took my wife to hospital after a fall, which was much appreciated and went well beyond what you would normally expect in terms of customer service. At the end of our stay we were driven to the station, again much appreciated. The miso soup and rice got my wife's approval, and the dim sum and freshly cooked to order shrimp tempura on a couple of nights were excellent, as were the mini croissants at breakfast. The onsen was very good, the toiletries in the bathroom were of a good quality. The beds are really spacious. I would expect to pay a premium for a hotel so close to a lift station, and with its own onsen, but the overall quality of accommodation on offer does not justify a charge of £250 per night.

第一次來白馬滑雪，朋友推薦的這家酒店，我真的要誇一誇地理位置，就在五龍門口200米幾乎可以説是 ski in/out了，然後東京過去有機場直達酒店的 snow bus很方便，早上去別的雪場坐shuttle也很方便，總之來滑雪地理位置真的絕棒！就是去便利店不是很方便要走路二十分鐘，但是雪具大廳吃的也挺多的，而且畢竟是村裡也算還能接受，偶爾還可以蹭下美女老闆的車去便利店shopping下！ 設施方面，有提供雪板的乾燥室、餐廳、ktv、桌球室，在村裡能喝酒唱歌，真的哭死😭天知道晚上那麼無聊，看見有ktv的我有多開心 衞生方面，每天都有小哥哥打掃，也算是住過很多雪場附近的酒店了，這家我衹能説沒得挑！ 服務方面：我必須要誇一誇mio醬小姐姐！看見我拿着泡麪還幫我泡泡麪😭感動到哭！長的敲好看還非常熱於助人！我不熟悉交通還幫我訂票！這個小姐姐我給100星好評！！！

子どものスキーのため宿泊。道を挟んで目前がいいもりゲレンデのリフトですが、リフト券は五分ほど歩いたスキーセンターで買う必要があります。 夕食がつかないのと大浴場はないようですが、車で五分弱のところに温泉。食事も食べに出て不便なし。 部屋はファミリースイートで広く快適でした。 積雪の関係か、乾燥室に直接アクセスできないのは少し不便でしたが、殆ど問題なし。 WiFiは室内では弱かったです。 スタッフは中国の人でしたが日本語OKで、とても親切に対応してくれました。

A super evening at Kin’s Kitchen at the Shakespeare Hotel in Echoland. We ordered everything on the menu, it came when it was ready so worked well for sharing. The food was hearty and spicy. Totally recommend the satay chicken and banana fritters. Apart from the delicious food, the best part of the evening were the staff. Great fun making us very welcome. We will definitely return.

We stayed here for 2 nights in July. The hotel and rooms are clean and comfortable. The lack of vegetarian / vegan food options was disappointing considering this is a Marriott Hotel. The resteraunt may not be theirs, but still expected better. The staff were very helpful, although the hotel shuttle to drop us to the station was only available for a 30 minute timeslot in the morning. Strange, but not a problem. Location is good, still has a feel that it could be a lot better by just making small improvements. Its the details that matter, at least that is why we booked Marriott. Still, we would stay here again (and maybe bring our own food).

JamJamツアーというスキーツアーが得意な旅行会社のツアーで宿泊しました。ホテルは冬場のスキーやボードのお客をメインに営業しているのだと思います。夏場はトラピックスやクラブツーリズムの団体も受け入れています。今回2泊とも大型バス2台のツアーと同宿でしたが、温泉でもロビーでも誰にも会う事もなく、食事の時だけが一緒でした。温泉が貸切り状態でいつでも入れたのは良かったです。小さいですが露天風呂もありますが、サウナはありません。部屋はツインルームでしたが、奥にソファもあり十分に広いです。多分冬場はソファはソファベットになってトリプル仕様が出来るのだと思います。部屋からは鹿島槍が見えましたが、周囲は木々が多いので近くに眺望の良いところはありません。また白馬の別荘地の一番奥のジャンプ台の近くなので、歩きではコンビニにも行けません。格安ツアーだったので食事は期待していませんでしたが、十分美味しかったです。レストランは外国人のスタッフの方がサービスしていますが、気持ちよい応対でした。

白馬の登山目的で夫婦2人で2泊しました。食事のバイキングの種類が多く、かつ美味しかった。浴衣とスリッパのままでレストランに行って食事できるので楽だった。部屋からの眺めも良し(最上階の5階に宿泊)。温泉露天風呂も気分が良い(3人入るのが限界の広さだが)。部屋に小さなキッチンとレンジありで長期滞在にも便利そう(今回は2泊で使わなかったが)。良い意味でサイズが大きすぎない清潔感のあるホテルで、入口には綺麗な花が沢山あり、スイスの山小屋のような雰囲気があってくつろぎました。とても良かったです。

スキー客用のホテルに見えますか、夏でもたくさんのお客様が利用されていて、少し驚きでした。周りのホテルは、夏だからのイメージ通りの感じでした。各方面からのお客様が多いのは、車のナンバーでわかりました。中は、別館もあり、広くて、全体が掴めないほどの大きさです。ゴンドラの駅までは近くで、歩いて行けます。ゴンドラの割引券があるので、ここで買えば、お得ですよ。

I love this hotel! The customer service was excellent from using the shuttle buses, bringing our luggage to our rooms, making three dinner reservations, forwarding our luggage to Haneda airport and our next hotel, etc. The staff was warm, friendly, and helpful. One female staff person (I forgot her name) was exceptional). I appreciate their hard work and great customer service. The hotel has a separate area on the first floor for your snowboard gear (locked closets) which was very convenient. The shuttle bus was helpful taking us to the bus terminal and other ski resorts. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again without hesitation. Thank you for such a pleasant stay.
