Miraggio Thermal Spa Resort

Despite some of the bad reviews we read before our visit (nearly didn’t book), our stay was actually mostly very good. But that’s not to say it was without problems. We chose a club room on half board. On arrival we were greeted and offered a drink while the porter parked our car and delivered our bags to the room. Overall check-in was good and we felt welcome at the hotel. They even put some nibbles and a bottle of prosecco in the room which was a nice touch. The club room was spacious and clean with a stunning Seaview balcony. The bed was comfortable and the room was well appointed and exactly what was expected of this 5-star hotel. The hotel communal areas (although a little empty of art and decoration in some areas) were clean and well kept, with highly polished floors. The Spa and pools were all a great feature of the hotel. We enjoyed all the salt water pools of varying temperatures throughout the hotel, as well as the well-equipped gym, sauna’s and steam room. The experience showers were sadly broken and only partly worked on our visit. With our room rate we got free access to the Spa pools. I must say we would not have paid the normal 50 Euro per person per day to use this area. On average we only spent 1 hour a day in the spa, so paying the extra would just not be worth it. The hotel should always include spa entry in to the room rate as many others have said, or limit access to two hours a day per guests to avoid overload. The beach is on a slope, so they have built platforms for the sunbeds and cabanas. We were promised a private beach area for club guests with a Cabana in our welcome letter. It was later found out the cabanas were for Suite guests only and the side of the beach for normal guests was closed with no sun beds, so the entire hotel had full use of the private beach normally reserved for club guests. Not a big problem, as it was quiet anyway, but we did pay extra for club benefits that were not received. As club guests we were also promised breakfast in a separate restaurant called Elia, but sadly this was not the case. Instead, the entire hotel was also invited to Elia as apparently the hotel was not busy enough to open both. Standard guests benefited from a free upgrade, but sadly club guests had to share the space with everyone else, meaning we could not sit on the sea view balcony area or get very good service as it was packed! As many have described in previous reviews, tea and coffee and general service at breakfast is a shambles. We waited nearly 30 mins some days to get a coffee & tea that was then delivered with out milk. There was one guy and one machine serving the entire hotel! It was a complete joke. When we complained about the slow dis-jointed service we were told the strangest thing by the member of staff. She advised us not to complain! She then went on to say the management of the hotel do not take complaints well and that we should just suggest to them, but never complain. She went on to tell us th

Excellent nice place family friendly ,helpful team all the time at High level. Everything was ok begining from the rooms were on high level clean the pools with security lifeguard will come back again for sure. Best wishes continue like this ......

Overpriced! Apart of that it’s a quite and relaxing site. Well designed , plenty of area fir different activities, a bit too “cold” atmosphere in the central lobby. The main pool was nice , not too crowded. The buffet area was disappointing. The italian restaurant was disappointing as well in both the variety and quality of the dishes. The beach area was much under our expectations. Both adults and kids. Everything was on extra money even if we booked “club” level. Many beaches around can offer much more for much less money. And we’ve been in many places around.

Miraggio is a great place to visit and stay with your family. The location is fantastic, kind of seclunded and offers peace and security. The swimming pools are generous and my kinds loved them. The beach is sandy with great facilities and you will definitely spend lot of time there. There is a sufficient number of restaurants serving excellent food and the breakfast was complete, satisfying any taste. We go there often and enjoy all range of facilities and activities the resort offers. Special thanks to the manager, Mr. Ampatzidis for kindly welcoming us at the check-in. T. My husband and I have been visiting this wonderful hotel for the second time and are absolutely delighted. Beautiful view and well-kept grounds. Delicious breakfast and dinner. Clean beach and clean sea. And also a great warm pool with a childfree area. I especially want to mention the spa with massage. Masseuses: Natali and Jonstantina. Experts in their field

Beautiful, well maintained property. Nice pools including general use, jet pool, adults only, child pool. Buffets were great with good quality and variety of foods offered. Restaurants on site with traditional Greek recipes with a modern twist. Spa is very spacious with high quality services offered. Had a deep tissue massage with therapist Natasha and she was great! Hit all trouble points with appropriate pressure. I would highly recommend this property.
