Hotel berhampiran Polizeimuseum, Hamburg

My room was the furthest away possible from the lift. It was in a corner, corner shaped, I felt awfully cramped. There was NOT A SINGLE DRAWER IN THE ROOM! THERE WAS NO WARDROBE IN THE ROOM. There were only 3 hangers to hang my clothes, EXPOSED ON THE WALL. Awfull experience, I feel cheated. I will never use this hotel or trip again. And will block trip.com from being acessed from within my company.

La primera mañana vi extrañas manchas de sangre en la cama, avise al personal de limpieza, limpiaron sin mas sin decirme nada.., al día siguiente tenia unas ronchas en las piernas , espalda y pecho y la ultima noche un ”bicho” caminando por la almohada, lo mate quedando una mancha de sangre , tome foto ( y busque en internet y supe que eran chinches (nunca había tenido una experiencia de estas, así que no sabia nada la respecto), empaque y baje a recepción.... ,me dijeron que lo sentían y que me darían otra habitación, quise poner una reclamación pero dijeron que NO tenían hojas de reclamación, que enviara un email al hotel.. deje el hotel a las 5:30 a.m. Envié la reclamación por email y me respondieron lo sgte: ”Tenga en cuenta que las chinches no son un problema de salud y, lamentablemente, pueden aparecer en los mejores hoteles independientemente del precio y la clasificación de estrellas. Viajan por el mundo en el equipaje de viajeros que desconocen a sus pasajeros no deseados. Una vez que encuentran un nuevo hogar, se esconden en los colchones durante el día, lo que hace imposible detectarlos.” Osea que no hay medidas de prevención, control ...

Excellent clean hotel. 10 mins walk from main train station. Breakfast was superb. Had a sauna but didn’t open till 5pm so didn’t get to use it. Friendly staff. Easy check in and out process.

The Moxy Hamburg provided a surprisingly vibrant stay for my recent business trip. The complimentary Wi-Fi was reliable for all my work needs, and the hotel's convenient location offered easy access to meetings and the city center. What surprised me was the buzzing atmosphere, a refreshing change from typical business hotels. Highly recommend for those seeking a productive yet energetic stay.

Picked this hotel after a brilliant experience with a Novotel in France earlier this year. First the bad: unfortunately we had the most unfriendly male (tall, unshaven) receptionist check us in. He made some snide comment in German to his colleague as he gave us the keys so I think he knew he was putting us in a dodgy room. Sure enough the aircon in the room wasnt working (a major factor as it was 30C outside) so we went back down to let reception know and was talking to a woman when the rude man jumped in and told us we couldnt move room as the hotel was full (based on the lack of people in the lobby or around our floor, I doubt that was true) and that the technical person had gone home (I was surprised that a 9 floor hotel with over 350 rooms only has one technical person). Went out for dinner and stopped off at reception when we came back to see if they could confirm someone from the technical staff would be in the following day but grumpy man just told us to check with reception in the morning. I couldnt see his name tag but it seemed to be a long name. We mentioned it to a much more friendly receptionist the following morning who said he would look into it after checkout was complete but nothing seemed to change, the aircon still wasnt working so had a second very uncomfortable nights sleep. The Good: the hotel itself is fantastic, seems to be brand new, and is spotlessly clean. Its very close to the train station (less than ten minute walk) and about a 15/20 walk to the Rathaus area. Apart from the broken aircon and towel-warmer in the bathroom the bedroom was quite large and the bed very comfortable. There was plenty of storage space and room for a chez lounge too. There was good (not great) broadband and the TV only had four English (all news) channels. Mentioned the issues at checkout and the friendliest receptionist of the whole stay (think her name was Budda) said that the first guy really should have moved us. Overall the hotel is easily a 9/10 but the holiday was soured by the horribly negative attitude of the first receptionist.

We stayed a week while visiting our son. Breakfast was good to excellent. Staff serving very good. The bar /restaurant at the hotel was good. Prices were similar to outside. The room furnishings were ok/budget quality. No drawers for clothes. The bed was comfortable. Convenient to Berliner Tor subway station (8-10 minute walk). During our stay there was road construction all around which made access from the subway a little challenging. I would stay again. Budget hotel at a convenient location for us.

Top notch employees. So friendly, so service - oriented, so authentic! I don't want to speak about the hardware: It's new and spotless and the quality of the breakfast for a three star chain is much better than you would expect. But extraordinary are the employees I met today. Front office is super friendly and efficient. Can't remember their names but took a pic of them. They are the right persons at the right place. They walk the extra mile. When it comes to the breakfast area I encountered their team leader Maeretha. She is one of a kind. Extremely enthusiastic with a winning personality she could excel in any field. She is very happy with her job and fulfills her role in an exceptional way. If I would be her father I would send her studying at a Swiss hotel school to become the CEO of Hilton Germany 🇩🇪! It was a pleasure to meet her.

Front desk is understaffed, queuing is needed for most of the time especially check in and check out peak. Service is good though. Breakfast is excellent with plenty of choice.

Das Hotel liegt direkt an einer Hauptstraße, fussläzfig ist die Innenstadt und Hafencity gut zu erreichen nach 15-20 Minuten. Zimmer sind ok, aber nicht unbedingt 5 Sterne. Stuhl schon etwas abgegriffen, Radiokanäle funktionierten nicht, Fernsehen nur eingeschränkt an einem Freitagabend. Lobby/ Eingang ohne Charme. Personal nett und hilfsbereit. Parkgarage gut zugänglich und auch nach dem Auschecken konnte man das Fahrzeug noch stehen lassen, um in die City zu gehen. 1 Woche vorher in einem 4 Sterne Haus einer anderen Kette in Bonn gewesen. Die Ausstattung dort war deutlich besser. Von daher, da anderen Standard erwartet, etwas enttäuscht. Zum Frühstücken waren wir im Café Irma in der Seitenstraße.

I stay for 2 nights with a 3 course dinner package both nights. The meal was set (no choice) but was delicious. Service was prompt and cheerful friendly staff. Breakfast had a good fresh selection. Room.was very comfortable & I had.requested quiet room.wh8ch I got.and it was just that with the windows closed at least. Only downside is you can't walk into the centre from here. Not an issue for me as I was alone & on business.
