Hotel staff is very customer focused - service is excellent! Rooms were clean, comfortable and beautiful! Breakfast was delicious! All around highly recommended hotel! Pablo and Pablo were friendly, helpful, and helped us out for anything necessary to make our trip better (taxis, excursions, rentals, etc). This is the place - look no further!

I'm so glad I went to the island and this hotel was a good choice. All the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. There was plenty of hot water for showering. The wifi at the hotel was actually reasonable - I believe they have Starlink connected. I was able to have video calls with only slight interruptions during a heavy downpour. A cold breakfast was included with different breads, juices, and cold cuts. The hotel is a 20-45 minute walk to most of the stores/museums in town. On the days I had scheduled tours, tour guides picked me up and dropped me off. On the other days, I walked into town and was prepared for intermittent rain showers. I would guess that most people would want to rent a car if traveling often between this hotel and the city proper. I saw a couple of local (not international) car rental places in the middle of the city. The traffic is moderate and subdued, so I wouldn't hesitate to rent a car if I were to visit again. There are dogs and roosters that make noise regularly, presumably all over the island. You can shut the windows and filter some of the noise out. There are steep stairs inside with irregular depths and heights you'll want be careful on. There's a nice loft area upstairs with couches and a TV.

Excelente servicio y atención de la señora Rosa, quien nos recibió, acogió y nos orientó en todas las consultas, por ser la primera vez que íbamos. Ella respondió nuestras dudas, nos guió para realizar los tour, incluso gestionó todo para que fuera sencillo para nosotros. Muy amable, comprensiva y atenta, nos hizo sentir cómodos y seguros. Se agradece enormemente su calidad humana, ya que muchas veces se encuentra gente parca y seca para responder y ella es todo lo contrario. El lugar es lindo, muy limpio y cómodo. Tienen zona de reciclaje lo que destacó enormemente. Estuvimos en la cabaña 3 equipada perfecta para un matrimonio. La cocina totalmente equipada y cómoda. Recomendamos el lugar en un 100% Si fuéramos otra vez, no dudaríamos en ir a cabañas Anakena.

This is not a hotel. It’s your friend’s house who invited you over to spend some time in the most remote part of the world. That’s how welcome and pleasant I felt here. Marcelo and his family run this establishment. He’s a one stop shop for everything Rapa Nui. Marcelo welcomed me at the airport with a gorgeous lea. The hotel is off main street in a private alleyway. It’s simple, but offers and authentic experience. Marcelo’s family lives up front and the back has a nice patio, kitchen area and several rooms. I was solo, but my room had three beds. So I had plenty of space. I was welcomed with a yummy smoothy, and after that Marcelo just took care of everything for me, from giving me different tours, arranging a glass-bottom boat ride, booking a 4-wheeler for me to do some adventure exploration, arranging a show reservation, and taking me to the National park areas as a credentialed guide. Did I mention, he’s also the volunteer firefighter. I really enjoyed my stay here. The room is clean and comfortable. There were plenty of fans available if I needed them, but the heavenly cross breeze made those unnecessary. I loved that instead of serving breakfast separately, they encourage guests to sit around a bigger table. I met several interesting people this way. Felt great. The location is great. Walking distance from the town main street and less than 10 minutes from the town beach with several Moai’s. In terms of service, on the day I was leaving I asked Marcelo I’d like to buy a specific t-shirt and he drove me around to various shops till I got it. Then he made sure that I have my flight all the way to the security check point at the airport. Now that’s just awesome. I loved, loved my time at Kaimana Inn. It’s a whole experience, made special by the host and his family. I cannot recommend this place enough.

This review is for their car rental business only (we stayed elsewhere). They were exceptional and I highly recommend them! We rented an automatic car because of their competitive rates, and were very impressed with communication. The car was great, a few dents here and there but worked perfectly, and the four of us were very comfortable. Most importantly, the team was very flexible and responsive over Whatsapp, modifying our reservation on the fly as our indecisive selves added a day upfront, removed a day at the end, with multiple different pickup/dropoff locations. At the last minute, we decided to see the sunrise at Tongariki the morning of our reservation, and while there weren't automatic cars available, they were willing to send us a manual car the night before and switch it for the automatic later in the morning. Furthermore, when we realized that many park attractions required a guide, they were helpful and shared some ideas for what we could do independently, including an awesome hike. Many thanks for helping make our Rapa Nui stay awesome!
