I was on a vacation trip to Sakleshpur and stayed at “ Mallige Residency ”, Hassan for 2 nights . The idea to stay at Hassan was due to the fact it was equidistant from Belur, Halebeedu and Tourist spots of Sakleshpura. The reservations were done ahead of time Mr Puroshattam confirmed the booking on phone. The staff was prompt in addressing the queries of the reservation. Since we were a family of 4, so we needed 2 rooms . They provided us 2 rooms with road view and the best part was that , the rooms were connected rooms. The rooms were well made, with a Queen size bed, work/study table chair and a relaxing chair with a center table.. Well decorated lighting in the room made the room very cozy. In the room they had also provided a electric kettle and complimentary tea sachets, and water bottles. The room had AC as well as a TV with Tata sky working with it, though we never really used the TV. The bathroom was well done. Clean and with separate shower area with running hot/cold water . Our package also had complimentary breakfast which is organized in a separate area . The breakfast was wholesome and had a good spread , with breakfast items, like Bread, Eggs, Omlet, Idli, Vada, Dosa, Khara bhat , Kesri bhat, Tea Coffe and Juice. There is an attached restaurant with the hotel called Parijata, and we ordered dinner in our room from the restaurant. There is also a live-snacks counter attached to the hotel. They had a dedicated parking area for cars. Overall a good experience.

PPengguna TetamuThe property is beautiful in the midst of coffee estates. Well maintained. Swimming pool good. However there are not many other things to keep you engaged. Food is good but choices are not many. The best part is evening tea with hot bajji s. Spa service is good. However there are many area's that need improvement. There is no sign post to tell us where to turn off the main road to climb the hill. You have to depend on google. The reception is understaffed and there is only one lady to do the check in, check out, billing, take calls from the rooms etc. Checkout was delayed quite a bit. Also anything you request from the rooms take a long time, once again because they are understaffed. There are no umbrellas in the rooms. I am sure we could do with one in each room. We had to wait till the rain stopped to go for dinner. A few more recreational facilities are required.

PPengguna TetamuThe resort is located in the midst of mountains and forests. It is approximately 1 hour from sakleshpur railway station. The staff at the resort are very courteous. Once you order food it takes time for the dish to be served, but as per anoop, the cook they prepare everything fresh and hence it takes time. Although the taste is really amazing. We tried chicken patiala, methi malai chicken, grilled chicken and caramel custard. The breakfast spread and quality although can be improved. The offroading suggested by dhanush was a real adventure. The landscape and pool is good. Rooms are also nice, only thing is they should be proactive in cleaning in verandah outside the room, specially since there are light insects which fall there. However overall found a good 2/3 nights stay.

Pros : Hotel is right bang in sakleshpur town 500 Mts from old bus stand Ample parking space and good staff Cons : 1. They dont have lift. We stayed in 3rd floor and climbing steps was challenge to kids 2. No phone in the room. This is basic requirement. For small needs , we had to come down to reception 3. Big drawback is they dont have any restaurant. They just have a bar. For families, you have to pull out car for bF, lunch and dinner every time which is painful. Pick this hotel only if you dont get any other option. as there are many hotels in the area.
