Absolutely LOVE it, staff was very supportive and showed me around the hotel after the checkin. She also gave me some really useful tips for my stay.

Best hostel I’ve ever stayed in! Location is perfect, just below the castle and minutes away from the city centre, rooms are cozy, nicely-decorated and clean. Staff were helpful, showed me where to visit in Heidelberg. Lotte feels like home!

To be honest ,I have to say that I will back it again! That’s the best one hostel in my trip experience until now. The staff and I think who is owner of the hostel so so so nice 👍.She prepared everything for you and you will just like at home. Free oat for everyone and I was impressed by the cozy decorations. The location is good for visiting any sightseeings and nearby the station of telpher.That is a awesome hostel and I will book it again to enjoy Heidelberg castle 🏰.

Chatting with the backpackers is one of the must thing to do there. The vibe is nice there.

The overall hygiene and environment are good. There is a public kitchen where you can cook, a coffee machine, and you can boil water yourself. The price/performance ratio is quite good.

리셉션 사람들이 엄청 친절하고 도미토리에서 묵어서 공용 화장실을 써야 했었는데 생각 외로 엄청 깔끔하게 유지되어서 기분이 좋았음. 다시 도미토리 숙박을 이용한다면 여기를 다시 갈 예정!

The hostel is very cozy, very clean, it has a great location, and team makes you feel welcome, they are very kind. The coffee is good the kitchen is full of good musli and cereals, very natural seasonings if you would like to cook your own food, the milk for your coffee or tea is organic or Bio and also have different kinds vegan (almomds, oat etc.) and regular one. I also met very nice people in the common area. I highly recommended. Books and board games, guitars makes your time indoors super enjoyable. Warms Regards, Eu. CR

Wonderfully cozy hostel in the old town center in Heidelberg with guests from around the world. I heard a lot of positive feedback about Lotte The Backpackers that I decided to stay during a weekend, even if I lived in Heidelberg several years. Sadly there was only an availability for one night. Definetly the hostel confirmed all the positive things I heard. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. As I arrived late, they even called me and gave me so detailed information even in an email and letter waiting for me. The hostel itself is very clean, the beds comfortable, dorm spacious and the living room just wonderfully cozy. Definetely do recommend this hostel

Perfect location. Good accommodation. Everything was clean. Friendly staff that will (mostly) speak to you in German if you speak German. They let you use showers/kitchen after checkout which is convenient.

One of or if not the best hostel I have ever stayed in. Amazing staff who let us store our bags as we arrived early and gave us great recommendations of what to do in town, things we otherwise never would have know about. Location is prime, right in the heart of town and under the Schloss. The hostel is in an odd house and has an extremely warm and homely feeling. Has amazing décor in the common room with old photos of travelers, book swaps and maps showing where past travelers have come from. Kitchen is also great, has many amenities and once again has an awesome feel to it. Bathrooms were of a very high standard. Free breakfast was amazing too. Rooms also has lockers. I would kill to be back here. Would 100% go back to Heidelberg and Lottes.
