Walkable to the port, shopping, and dining. Very nice renovated villa. Quiet building. Street noise can be loud and planes fly over, but settles down around 11. We were happy to stay here and not the normal touristy places.

Like many boutique hotels in ancient city centers, it's a wee bit hard to find at first. But what a treasure! It's a beautiful town house. Our room on the ground (main) floor had a large bedroom with beautiful high, painted ceilings, as well as a sitting area that opened onto a secluded corner of the garden. Maria and Thomas were excellent hosts, arriving within minutes when locked ourselves out late one evening. Walking distance to so many wonderful sites, museums, and restaurants. There's no breakfast, but several places are within a few meters; we loved Queen, on the corner. Highly recommended; we would surely stay again on any next visit to Heraklion.

We have just had 4 days staying in this gorgeous boutique hotel. The room was large and beautifully designed, we stayed in the ground floor room looking out to the courtyard. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Bars , cafes, shops and the port are within easy walking access . We highly recommend this hotel, it is beautiful example of Venetian architecture.

This is really a boutique hotel experience. The hotel is a colourful old (but well-maintained) villa in the heart of the city centre but with a nice patio and beautiful garden. You can’t miss it, as it quite stands out from the bland inner-city architecture. On arrival we we were greeted by the owner with a big smile and taken to a beautiful room with high ceilings and a large balcony. The room was cool (with AC) and could be divided into two with wooden doors. The location of the hotel is great. Central Parking is around the corner. Close to many bars, taverns, coffee places etc. We stayed for 2 days before moving on to further explore Crete. Would stay again!

We liked: location (central and walking distance to old town), nicely renovated, clean with a lot of charm! Staff friendly and helpful.
We didn’t care for: kids screaming and loud speaker at the schoolyard next block at 8am every morning; planes landing and taking off past midnight every night.
Also note: loved the property but be aware no elevators.

Great stay, perfect location, beautiful building. The room was clean, spacious, stylish & comfortable - the bed was a little soft but thats personal preference. Communication for our late arrival was good, we had no worries about arriving after 11pm. We would definitely stay the next time we're in heraklion.

The hotel was very centrally located. The hotel owner Thomas was the best... he went out of his way to make sure our visit was perfect. As an American you know we love ice in our drinks he was able to get me ice packs for my room... above and beyond.
I will always stay when i go to crete.
