Biker Hotel Al Gallo Forcello

I’m so sorry about this bad experience what we had to deal with at this accommodation. We spent here 4 nights, due to a skiing holiday. We deliberately booked a separated more spacious family room for comfort (costed 50€/night). On our arrival the room was dirty, and smelling. There was someone else’s trash in the bin, and hair all over the bathroom. Next to the beds on the floor and on the windows there were many dead flies and lots of spider webs. The heating in the rooms came from the Middle Ages, never worked and it was broken on several places. When we mentioned this problem to the staff, they made it somehow to be “turned on” for a couple of hours, then it was blowing cold air again. Ridiculous especially when there are -12 degrees outside. About the half pension: In the morning the breakfast is OK, never changing, not too much variety, but for a 3 start hotel it’s alright. About the dinner; it works funny. You need to order the food the previous night. The amounts are so small like in a gourmet restaurant. But the quality is bad and the food tastes like nothing. They gave the feeling that they are trying too hard to show something what they are really not prepared for. One sure, there’s always pizza margherita (as big as my palm) and spaghetti bolognese available. Shame on the Italian kitchen. The elevator doesn’t work properly, it has a feeling that it will break anytime. After these 4 nights of stay, we couldn’t believe it that we paid 1600€ for 3 person for 4 nights on a high season, and this is what you get for this much amount. We are highly disappointed. Hope they will change something about this, because the location of the accommodation would be incredible. But one sure, we never gonna come back here again. I attach pictures of this disaster.

Cute hotel in the mountains. Quiet and nice walks. Food at the restaurant was great.

Staff is unfriendly, beds are very hard and uncomfortable, wifi is utterly useless (unless you are the only user). Food is ok, evening buffet is nice, but you will have to wait very long for first and second couse, dessert buffet is kinda dry, but not bad, mostly cakes. Beware they will serve you lukewarm water bottles for 3.5 euro, unless you specifically ask for fresh tap water. Then you'll get nice cold water - but still pay 3,50!! (for the service, they say). BUT the worst is the coffee situation in the morning! ONE slow coffee machine which takes 30-60 secs to make ONE cup will have you waiting in a very long line. Completely unacceptable when a group of 100+ wants to go skiing.

Die italienischen Speisen waren sehr gut. Portionen und Preisgestaltung normal. Leider wurde einmal Cozze (Miesmuscheln) Buzara bestellt. Große Schüssel voll gefüllt. 8 Stück waren noch geschlossen und bei 10 Stück waren die Schalen zerbrochen. Das Ganze hatte auch einen leichten unangenehmen Geruch. Haben die Cozze aber gegessen und keine Reklamation gemacht um den schönen Abend mit der Familie nicht zu verderben. Warum ist der Koch nicht in der Lage Cozze Miesmuscheln welche nicht ok sind SELBST zu probieren bevor diese dem Gast serviert werden. Schade um den sonst guten Eindruck des Restaurants. Aber wir kommen wieder, vor allem wegen dem professionellen Ober Vanni, der uns bei der Speisenauswahl sehr gut beraten hat - so solls sein! Kompliment an Vanni!!!

Unglaublich - mitten in einem österreichischen Skigebiet und doch in Italien nächtigt man im Al Gallo Forcello. Das Hotel liegt nur wenige Meter von der Grenze entfernt. Einfach ausgestattete Zimmer mit traumhaften Blick auf die Berge. Ein Top-Frühstücksbuffet, das wirklich überrascht. Sehr leckeres italienisches Essen.

Nel complesso il mio giudizio è positivo...stanza pulita e comoda... colazione internazionale super abbondante... dispiace per il costo eccessivo della parte ristorante/pizzeria

Il luogo in cui sorge è ameno e fresco, vicino al laghetto. Buffet di antipasti e dolci delizioso, colazione varia e abbondante. La proprietaria è gentilissima e disponibile, ci ha risolto diversi problemi. La signora alla reception è invece rigida e molto poco disponibile nei confronti dei clienti. Essendo situato sul passo la strada per raggiungerlo è alquanto tortuosa, ma a suo modo affascinante.

Perfetta accoglienza, bella camera spaziosa e pulita, cordiali e ottima la cena antipasti primi e secondo e dolce buonissimi. Consigliamo! Il posto è bellissimo a due passi dagli impianti per andare in quota e moltissime attrazioni per divertirsi prendendo le seggiovie e funivie austriache a 500 mt dall'albergo.

La posizione è certo ottima, la vista dalla nostra stanza molto bella ma per quanto riguarda la pulizia,sotto al letto il primo giorno abbiamo trovato di tutto, anche un tappo per le orecchie. Il buffet la mattina non viene assolutamente rifornito, mancano torte e ciambelloni fatti in casa, preparazioni che ti aspetti di trovare in un luogo simile. Per quanto riguarda la cena, visto che ci trovavamo qui usufruendo della mezza pensione, dobbiamo dire che i piatti sono buoni, il buffet buono, ma le porzioni dei primi piuttosto scarse. La nota veramente dolente il personale di sala che si è rilevato piuttosto accanito nei nostri confronti, siamo una famiglia con un bambino piccolo e più volte siamo stati punzecchiati. Ci rendiamo conto che non sia il massimo avere una famiglia per clienti, i bambini piccoli, a volte sporcano, a volte piangono, ma se non vuoi questo tipo di clientela non sponsorizzi il tuo hotel in luoghi in cui volenti o nolenti incappano le famiglie. Le mosche poi, le mosche ovunque. Si può migliorare perché la posizione è sicuramente la storia di questo albergo valgono molto. Basterebbe rinfrescare un po’ il personale.
