Guests can enjoy breathtaking views of the vibrant gardens or the pristine pool, enhancing the overall experience. Dining at Mitos Village is a delightful experience. The breakfast buffet is well-presented, offering a wide selection of cold meats, hot dishes, and beverages. The coffee, in particular, is superb, providing a perfect start to the day. The Dedalo Pool Bar serves as an ideal spot to unwind with a cocktail or a refreshing juice, while the traditional Kafenion Meraki invites guests to enjoy Greek coffee under the shade of ancient trees, capturing the essence of a classic village coffee shop. Superb accommodation in a great location 5 min stroll to the village square of Old Hersonissos and another 15/20 to Piskopiano and Koutouloufari. The welcome from Thanos and his staff was exceptional as was the large air conditioned apartment which included lovely extra touches like complimentary wine and fruit basket, robes and slippers, pool towels and good quality toiletries and amenities. Great pool area and bar and the breakfast was excellent - everything fresh and great quality in a lovely outdoor terrace by the pool. The whole place is immaculate and the level of cleaning is exceptional. Staff can’t do enough for you and we got excellent advice and help from Thanos about local places to visit, eat, hire car, taxis etc. All in all exceptional quality at a great price. Will definitely come back. Highly recommended.

The location is very beautiful. The rooms are very clean and all the location is so. The breakfast was very good, tasty and you can order food for lunch, very tasty also. The pool is perfect if you want a lazy day in the sun with good music and I recommend you to try their cocktails 😁. Also if you want to go to the old center of Hersonissos, you just have to take a 2 min walk and to the clubs and the new hersonissos city (beach, clubs, stores and all that stuff) you can go by car, in 5 min you are there. If you want to rent a car, to buy excursions, order food at the hotel, Thanos can help you. Very happy with this choice for our vacation in Greece.

My sister and I really enjoyed the cleanliness and tranquility of Mitos Village, we would return. Thanos and his family were very welcoming and accommodating. Highly recommended staying here. Food was good, pool was clean, staff were friendly. Absolutely no complaints.

There are not enough words for me to express how wonderful we found this hotel and the entire team. Every area is kept immaculately clean by the 2 girls who clean all areas, all day, every day. The breakfast area was beautiful to sit and enjoy a superb breakfast in peace and quiet with only the noises of nature surrounding you. It set us up for the day, not only in sustenance but mentally as well. It was bliss. The pool area was spotless, and it was a joy to get into the pool which was a lovely temperature and very refreshing in the very high temperatures Crete was experiencing. We spent a lot of time in and around the pool and happily used the bar services which were also great. Finally, but certainly not least, Thanos the owner, Caterina his wife and Maria, Thanos’s mother showed us such hospitality, generosity of spirit, kindness and a genuine desire to make every moment of our holiday most enjoyable. They succeeded - it was perfect from arrival to departure (which came far too soon). We are going to return next year for a longer stay and are already counting down the days. We cannot thank the full team at Mitos Village enough. Thank you.

Never been in a hotel so clean ... hotel manager and wife were amazing we currently booked aqua sun village which was closed when we arrived so they moved us to eri beach at 6pm at night after waiting around for hours .. eri beach was a no go awful so we found mitos village on booking. Com he went out of way and beyond to help us that night ... breakfast is amazing loads of choices kids loved every minute of being there... the bars and restaurants down the road are beautiful and lovely food .. the cleaners in the hotel were also amazing always playing with kids and showing them tricks couldn't of asked for a better place... will definitely be returning here amazing family hotel :)

We spent a few days at the Mitos Village hotel. The experience was outstanding, largely due to the warm and friendly manners and help from the hotel manager, Thanos. The rooms were large and very clean. Breakfast was very good. The hotel is located in Chersonissos, a small town about 15 minutes drive from Heraklion. The hotel location is pastoral and very quiet although not at all remote. A car is recommended.

What can I say about this lovely family run hotel! It is amazing. Thanos who owns the hotel is a super business man who is able to make you feel like you are one of the family from the minute you get there. His mother and wife also work in the hotel behind the bar and sorting out breakfasts etc and nothing is ever a problem. I got extremely bitten and they became hugely infected, every morning they checked in with me to make sure how it was getting on and even got me antibiotic cream to help with it. This is not a big chain hotel and for me this was perfect, its a relatively small personal hotel with a stunning pool area. The rooms are big and the only reason I gave them a 4 star was i feel the air-conditioning could be a little better. The hotel is kept spotless by Maria and Alex, I've never seen an ounce of dirt anywhere. Public areas immaculate! Pool towels given when you arrive which is a great help. The breakfast is beautiful in the mornings, everything is cooked fresh onsite. It's nicely positioned too as it is just outside old hersonnasis where there is a lovely little square to have lunch or dinner, a few shops and a chemist. Hersonnasis is about 10 minutes in a taxi and you are on the ***** or a 30 min walk if you are adventurous. Overall I would hugely recommend this hotel and Thanos & his team. You won't be disappointed if you are looking for a personal holiday with a family feel hotel. We will def be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Mitos Village and definitely intend to return. Our whole 11 night experience was relaxed and most enjoyable. We were welcomed by the owner, Thanos, who was attentive throughout our stay to ensure that we were always looked after and was happy to provide any information we needed to make our holiday more enjoyable. All facilities are good, clean and well-maintained. Special mention must go to Alex, who provided great service across all areas - breakfast, lunch and at the bar with a bit of pool cleaning and garden maintenance thrown in. All-in-all a "star man". If you're looking for somewhere peaceful/enjoyable to stay, only a stone's throw from a great selection of tavernas, you won't find better than Mitos Village.
