The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are lovely, the location is amazing the food and drink options are plenty, the entertainment is fab. We booked the hotel because of the amazing reviews. We’ve had a really difficult year as our beautiful nine-year-old daughter had a massive operation and chemotherapy. All she wanted to do once her treatment was finished was to come on holiday. Unfortunately on the first day our eldest daughter became sick with gastroenteritis, the Hotel was very helpful and supportive and give us an extra room for our young daughter to stay as her immune system was suppressed. We ended up in hospital for a couple of days, with our eldest daughter who was fine and we were able to enjoy the rest of our holiday, the hotel-staff are amazing. They can’t do enough and are very friendly. It was our youngest daughter’s birthday while we were away and they give her a free massage, Maria in the spa is a beautiful human and organised presents and a cake for our little girl. This meant so much to her, I also booked a massage and it was the best I’ve ever had. We went for a meal in the beautiful sea front Italian restaurant on her birthday and again we were given a cake, the best table and a bottle of sparkling wine. The guest services staff are lovely and Tui were also great gifting us a private transfer. The water park and pools are amazing. We will return. Thank you so much nana beach

Stayed here early September and had a wonderful stay. Room was really spacious, the balcony didn't get any sun but this was a welcome relief after a day around the pool. The shower was lovely and powerful. The pool area was stunning, the renovation makes it feel very luxurious, there was never a shortage of sunbeds no matter time we went to the pool and they were really comfy too - even the 'traditional' beds. Only slight negative was the slippy pool, although it did provide some entertainment watching people trying to style out their slips - myself included!! Food at the pool bar was always lovely, fresh and plenty of choice. We had a late flight home so we left our bags in reception and made use of the pool showers which were pretty good, could just do with a shelf to stop clean clothes getting wet! Hotel is ideally located between Koutouloufari and Piscopiano so perfect for exploring all the different tavernas and restaurants. We never ate in the same place twice in the evening and didn't have a single bad meal. Also - the guy in the shop across the road was brilliant!!

This hotel was a whirlwind of emotions when we first got to check in they tried to give us an “upgraded room” which i declined he then said we have to take it and it already being 2 am I unwittingly obliged the next morning we went to reception to get our normal room and they then tried to get us to pay more to keep the “upgraded room” we had been given we said no . Now here is the interesting part I stayed with my Mrs in our room but my Parents were also with us and they were in a base room which they said smelt like cigarettes and damp and when they tried to get a new room they offered them to upgrade to a different version of the base room calling it a “deluxe” which was still worse than the one me and my mrs had stayed in my Mom called the receptionist out on this to which she didn’t know what to say she then offered us our own apartments up the street (2 min walk) and once we got here was where our holiday finally took off the apartments were beautiful had lovely security systems and pretty much looked brand new all over . If you are staying here make sure to request these rooms as they always over book anyway and it’s likely they will give them to you . The food is average I have IBS and the only night i ate at the hotel my stomach was in a lot of pain . The entertainment can be fun . The pool area is great but very fully they say not to claim beds but everyone else does so make sure you claim it on the right side of the pool furthest from the bar as that’s where the sun rises over the best and make sure to explore the best moment of this trip was the rent a boat which was very cheap and an amazing experience

Kemudahan hotel sangat baik dan baru, berenang adalah kemuncak, dan matahari terbenam sangat indah. Tempat duduk di tepi kolam renang perlu mengambil tempat duduk pada waktu pagi, tuala yang disediakan oleh kerusi malas dan sarung kerusi bersih dan selesa. Restoran ini romantik dan makanannya lazat. Husband and I booked our Honeymoon here for our Crete but after spending a few days in Athens. It was great we arrived early and were allowed to leave our luggage with them until our room was ready. We had issues with pre-checkin and the staff member tried her hardest to get to the bottom of it. I was extremely tired by check in and my brain was a complete mess (I hadn't slept much on the ferry) and the staff member was very accommodating to my stupidity at the time. Once I had a nap a really lovely shower chilled out in our room which was lovely spacious and clean we went down to get dinner. Which was filling and great especially the sweet treats and fresh fruits. We decided to book some excursions through the hotel and after a little bit of waiting not the hotels fault we met the happiest most passionate person on Crete and definitely a credit to the hotel Dimitra! gave us the best recommendations possible and helped out sort out a few things we didn't know we wanted. Every time we saw her she was happy and a delight nothing was too much. We had reported the shower was broken upon arrival and it was fixed immediately. Breakfast was great with fresh orange juice, coffee, pastries, cooked breakfast and lots more to choose from. I would highly recommend a stay here and if you need help with anything seek out Dimitra. The hotel itself is in great location close to the beach, shops and restaurants plenty of parking and quiet , great services WiFi and room service also trying their best to help the environment.

Went to this hotel a few weeks ago with friends. All the staff were lovely and friendly. Hotel in a central location. We were lucky and had a room at the back which had a large balcony. I believe the rooms at the front can be noisy mainly from traffic noise. The room was adequate, typically Greek. However the downside for us was the smell of damp coming from the drain in the bathroom. Food on the whole was ok. Disappointingly there was a lot of pasta. I know they have to cater to the masses and a lot of people do live on pasta. There were lots of desserts to choose from, the baklava was lovely. The white fish had no texture again due to catering for lots of people. The dining area was not really big enough for the size of the hotel. Especially in the evening, we often had to squeeze the three of us on a table for two. The manager was often around and in fact ate in the restaurant. Most of the time we could get a sunbed, generally people did not put there towels down hogging them all day, then coming for half an hour at the end of the day. The pool itself was ok. Some reviews mentioned that this could not be as clean as it should and favoured the next door hotels pool, we found it the opposite way round. All in all it was satisfactory for the price.

Myself and my partner enjoyed our stay at the royal and imperial Belvedere mid October and were very lucky with the weather- 30C everyday! We arrived to the hotel late but the check in process was easy, and we were helped with our luggage and driven to our room. We did have a few issues with the original room we were allocated, with faulty air-con and a broken phone, but this was rectified the next morning and we were moved into a bigger room with a much nicer balcony and view which was appreciated! We rented a car and there was parking near the rooms on the imperial side which was very convenient. We found the food to be fantastic , with a great selection at breakfast, lunch and dinner with plenty of seating both in and out, even though the restaurants get very busy at dinner time. We were also impressed by the snack bar near the Olympic pool- the gyros here were a definite hit! The Greek restaurant was lovely with brilliant service, unfortunately the Asian restaurant was already fully booked all week so we didn’t get to try that! The cocktails were disappointing but we just stuck to spirits and mixers which would be our usual choice anyway so this didn’t bother us. We preferred to use the relax pool by the blue bar, however sun beds did get filled quickly with people reserving beds with towels which was a little frustrating but we always managed to find somewhere to sunbathe! This hotel is beautifully maintained and everywhere is kept very clean. We had a great stay and would certainly return if holidaying in Crete in the future!
