完美，完美！！！

Absolutely terrible outdated hotel that alleges to have 4 stars while offering a standard of 2 stars at top. Extremely overpriced - paid 180€ per night for tiny room with no window and tiniest single bed ever I never seen in any hotel in my life. Old, outdated, smelly… just horrible place. I don’t know of there is anything better in the area, but I would never stay here again and do not recommend this place. One of the worst stays I ever had in my life.

Hotel was similar to any €50 per night budget hotel..(but I paid €200+ per night) I had a number of small complaints when I was there. Massive keyring with key for room access, to avoid holding on to this massive keyring when going out I would leave it with with reception. This would mean sometimes a 5min+ wait to get it back on entry as there was only ever one person on reception. But good news (not) one day they changed the lock on the door to key card. But each day it would stop working requiring me to go back down to reception to get a new one 3 days in a row. No hint of an apology. Room small and 20+ years old. See other review pictures. ( Thought I was staying at my Grandma's). Bath/shower leaked on the floor. Room came with coffee maker (2 sachets of coffee) and complimentary water. These would only get replenished once in the week I stayed. Even after leaving the "make up room" sign out the whole time I was there. Futher would not get coffee cups or glasses changed. Dirty cups in my room all week. Breakfast, was ok. But I noticed staff wiping crumbs onto chairs with the fresh napkins that would be set out for the next guests. (Day after day). Multiple Futher annoyance like the above. Old tired hotel with staff that put in little effort probably because of bad management. I regret staying here. I should have slept rough.

Stayed for 2 nights at this 4 star hotel in the middle of Hilden close to the shopping street and about 15 min walk from the station. The lobby, restaurant/breakfast room was recently renovated because of a serious flooding a couple of years ago. They did a good job, the interior in this part of the hotel has been updated with a very contemporary feel to it. We booked a standard room, however the heating was not working properly and we got upgraded immediately which was very much appreciated. The rooms, looked a little bit dated, but were to my delight utterly spotless. The bathrooms especially the shower trays and doors were immaculate, although some water was leaking onto the bathroom floor when using the shower. The housekeeping department is doing a good job for sure. I was pleased to see soap dispensers installed rather than having all those little customary bottles with soap and gel, saving on plastic. Good forward environmental thinking. Because the floor covering was carpet rather than tiles or laminate I would have liked some of those hotel slippers that are customary in most hotels these days. Also as a 4 star I would expect an iron and board in the room for convenience. The breakfast offerings are the usual fare and I was pleased to see milk alternatives available. The breakfast room was quite busy and you could do with an extra member of staff looking after the buffet to replenish it in time. All in all I very much enjoyed my stay here. I think that the room rate charged is very fair and honest but thought that the prize for the breakfast per person maybe at 17 Euros is a bit steep. However, I wholeheartedly can recommend this hotel.

Das Hotel macht von außen und von der Rezeption her einen guten gepflegten Eindruck. Das Einchecken verlief etwas stockend, aber vertretbar. Das Parkticket (12,- €/Tag) mussten wir direkt für den gesamten Aufenthalt (2 Nächte) bezahlen, obwohl nicht klar war, dass wir auch beide Tage im Innenhof stehen würden. Es gibt auch eine Tiefgarage, die Parkplätze hier sind jedoch sehr schmal und durch Säulen begrenzt! Oben auf den Zimmer angekommen kam die Enttäuschung. Es roch modrig, stickig, überall älterer Teppichboden und die Zimmer sind in den 90er Jahren stehen geblieben. Wir haben die Kategorie mit A/C gebucht und suchten diese im Zimmer. Da sie nicht auffindbar war ging ich runter an die Rezeption und bat um die entsprechend gebuchte Kategorie, welche wir auch bekamen. Die Rezeptionistin erzählte uns, dass sie aktuell dabei sind Zimmer zu modernisieren und dieses schon eines davon wäre. Auf diesem Zimmer im 4. OG angekommen konnten wir von der Einrichtung her keinen Unterschied feststellen. Das Zimmer war größer, es gab eine Kaffeemaschine und die A/C, welche im Dachgeschoss auch wirklich erforderlich ist, aber der Stil war der gleiche. Die Betten waren bequem, wir schliefen gut. Das Bad ist in Ordnung, aber eben in die Jahre gekommen. Zum Frühstück und der Hotelbar kann ich nichts sagen, da wir diese nicht genutzt haben. Das Hotel passt für 1-2 Nächte, aber schön, renoviert und modern ist definitiv anders. Der Preis von 125,- €/Nacht/Zimmer ohne Frühstück ist absolut nicht gerechtfertigt. Deswegen werden wir auch nicht mehr wiederkommen.

Wir hatten als Familie mit kleinem Kind falsch gebucht unser Termin war eine Woche später. Für das Hotel war es unmöglich umzubuchen obwohl das Hotel leer war. Wir mussten neu buchen und pro Nacht nochmal 26 Euro mehr zahlen. Da unsere kleine müde war mussten wir dies annehmen. Rezeption spricht kaum deutsch und verstehen einen nicht. Kundenfreundlich gleich null komplette Abzocke!!!!
