The Sheraton Grand Hiroshima Hotel delivers from beginning to end regarding service and location. I had the chance to stay one night in early June before heading next morning to Okunoshima, and it was highly worth it. Next to Hiroshima Station, this location is a must. In addition, the quality of service provided by each member, either at the front desk or Club Lounge, was excellent. Daisuke in the Club Lounge was helpful and went above and beyond to assist during my stay. Regarding the room, I highly recommend booking a Club Level room or suite. The panoramic views of Hiroshima are amazing, but the room is exceptionally comfortable. I had the chance to stay in a suite, approximately 750 sq. ft., which was quite comfortable, especially the bed. The bathroom was spacious, and the bathtub was worth it after a long day or walk in the city. I also recommend the spa facilities in the hotel. If you pay around 1,650 Yen, you can use the pool, hot tub, sauna, steam room, and cold bath. This is a great activity to relax and disconnect from reality fully. I enjoyed my time there and would return if I had the chance. Overall, it was a great stay, and thankful for the generosity and excellent customer service provided by the team in this hotel.

Excellent location a few minutes walk from Hiroshima railway station. We had a connecting room which has an interior door between the adjacent double room and twin room, allowing you to move between them. The hotel rooms are compact, but functional and comfortable. Especially the double room, the kids had more room in their twin room. It can accommodate up to four people, making it ideal for families or friends.

Un hôtel super bien placé direct sur le grand boulevard du mémorial et du muséum. Le personnels est super agréables, aux petits soins, autour de l’hôtel vous avez pleins de restos, supérettes, bars, boutiques etc…. Le soir sa bouge un peut, c’est un quartier très chouette. Nous avions une chambre d’angle au 13eme avec une superbe vue sur les montagnes, lit super grand et confortable. Peut être penser bientôt à rafraîchir murs, moquettes Sdb. Petit dej au top, du choix en salé et sucré, c’était très bon. Nous avons passés un très bon séjour

Просторный санузел с душевой кабиной, хороший напор воды, но трудно настроить температуру воды, внезапно идет холодная вода, очень неприятно. Кондиционер издавал неприятный шум при работе, номер сразу поменяли. Окна не открываются совсем, но есть приточный вентиляционный клапан. Предоставляются тапочки, халаты, одноразовые принадлежности. На 3 этаже есть стиральные и сушильные машины, средство для стирки можно взять на ресепшене. Завтрак великолепный, есть много азиатских блюд, также есть вареные овощи и нейтральные продукты без специй. Жаль, что не предоставляют питьевую воду для гостей, только вендинг машины в холле. Также в холле есть микроволновка. Персонал очень вежливый и старается помочь решить вопросы.

Hotel molto bello per la hall e la bellissima vista sul mare.
Non era molto comoda la posizione in quanto lontano dal centro e c'erano poche navette soprattutto la sera finivano molto presto il servizio oppure ti lasciavano a una stazione a 30 minuti a piedi dall'hotel.
La camera dentro era carina ma un po' datata.

PPengguna TetamuWe arrived in Hiroshima by train and this hotel is super close to the train station so it was super easy to get to and from here with literally a 5 minute walk. It looks like the area has been redeveloped a bit so there's a bunch of good restaurants around the hotel. There is also a tram stop right around the corner so even though it's location is a bit far from all the sightseeing in the city you can get there easily by just hopping on one of the cool streetcars. The room itself is on the small side but the bed was super comfy. Shared bathrooms and toilets were clean most of the time and pretty spacious too. The downstairs common room and kitchen is great, there's so many kitchen appliances and utensils to use which was great. There's a bunch of manga books and boardgames too for some entertainment. The room could do with a few hooks to hang up stuff on the wall. Since the room is really small and there's no space for anything other than the bed and the tiny table with a stool it'd be a great solution to add some sort of storage for things like coats and bags etc. Unfortunately the cafe was closed when we were there so haven't been able to try this.

Staff can speak English, don’t have to worry about communicating. Food are great too in the hotel, and many good restaurants at the JR station.
Overall is clean, just the hotel maybe some ages.

Location) it is located near Hondori, we can walk to Sogo, Bus Terminal, Ichiran Ramen and various spots in 10mins. There is a pier with direct ferry to Mijiyama at the Peace Memorial Park, which is only 10-min walk from the hotel, which was great.
Room) twin bed room is bigger than average hotel rooms size in Japan. We love the sofa and small table which allows us to have a beer and food at night. The water pressure is good and water temperatures is high enough to wash away our tiredness! They provide amenities (if needed) next to the reception which is very thoughtful and environmentally friendly. There are also hand drip coffee packs provided, I tried and i love it!

Others) they provide 3 coins for each guest each night which you can redeem for snacks/drinks on 14th Floor. The rooftop bar has a great view, it is worth visiting. But a beer will cost you 4 coins which you may need to purchase more coins at your own cost.
Overall, this hotel is highly recommended.

PPengguna TetamuFantastic hotel, opened just 9 months ago, still smells new. Located 10 minute bus trip from Hiroshima station and 15 minute walk from the peace museum/park. Stayed in beautiful one bedroom suite on 21st floor (second highest). Great view of the city through panoramic windows. Staff very friendly, engaging in small talk, specially when they see you are wait for example at the reception. Great breakfast choice, egg station. You can order to table some extra drinks like mango juice and waffles. Executive lounge located on 22nd floor, also great views. Lounge looking nice, with tables quite cramped. As far as food is concerned, I think one of the best Hilton lounges I recall. Choice of number of small sandwiches, cheese, cold meats, salads, beef stew, sweets etc. Swimming pool, dry sauna and large jacuzzi available.

PPengguna TetamuPROS: Unbeatable central location in Hiroshima with large, clean rooms and great views of the city. The rooms were reasonably priced.
CONS: This hotel is extremely dated and ultimately this impacted on the comfort of our stay - neither of us slept well on any night due to very old bed/pillows. They were also strict about their 15.00 check in time (seemingly regardless of whether our room was ready or not). This led to unnecessary queues from 15.00 onwards.
Overall, would book elsewhere if staying again for more than 1 night in Hiroshima.

KKalaCA compact and no-frills hotel that still manages to be contemporary and cozy. Fairly new and we had no issues with cleanliness. Rooms have a small fridge and a small water heater for making coffee. Shower pressure is good, and the bathrooms, while small, were clean. Breakfast option is nothing to write home about but still works in a pinch (packets of bread/muffins and coffee), plus there are several dining options close to the hotel (7-11, Starbucks, Mister Donut, etc). Service was very professional; the front desk helped call us a taxi each time. Location can't be beat as it is just in front of a busy street full of restaurants. Unfortunately there is no gym, but overall it's a good hotel that won't break your budget.

PPengguna TetamuOddly, the hotel is ‘upside down’ - the lobby is on the top floor, and after using the machines to check in, we went down in the lift to get to our room.
Nice room, a good size; the only of the four hotels that we stayed in where we could walk on both sides of the bed! Even had a sofa that we could relax on. A comfortable bed. A very relaxing room for our stay.
There was a very nice laundry room with three washing machines, an ice machine, two microwave ovens and a couple of drinks dispensers.
Even though there are lots of tourists, we could find no English language programmes on the television.
Very convenient for the railway station, but it was about a 30 minute walk to the Atomic Bomb Dome and Peace Park. However, being more remote, it was a quiet area.
The breakfast was acceptable, not extensive, but sufficient.
We did the check-out on the television in the room, left the door keys in the room, and left the hotel. Very efficient, a great system.
We enjoyed our stay, and recommend this hotel.

CCasper WongRoom was small but enough for a solo traveller like me. To my surprise, there was even a microwave in the room. Everything was neat and tidy, and the staff at the front desk was nice and helpful. On the top floor, there was a public hot spring bath, but I did not use it. Outside the hot spring bath, there were drinking water fountains and vending machines, one of which dedicated to selling milk and dairy products. You could enjoy the Japanese culture of drinking milk - correct me if I am wrong (at least this was what I learnt from Japanese animes and dramas) - after taking the hot spring. Overall the experience was great.

BBridge the GapAlthough walking distance to the train station and attached shopping arcade, the hotel is in a business park area and not very convenient for the tourist sites in town The rooms are small and a little dingy - the hotel itself is a bit older and needs a sprucing up. Breakfast is served downstairs and the food is mediocre at best - I definitely wouldn't pay for it again. There isn't much around the hotel - I walked around on my way back at night, looking for someplace to get a bite to eat or a a drink and couldn't find anything (a few blocks away was a terrible place that had a lot of unmarked fees and charges). If I were to do it all over, I definitely would choose a different hotel in a different area. (Please note: the hotel did nothing wrong, per se, and the staff was very nice! It just wasn’t the right place for me, for purpose of this trip.)

There’s one double bed and then there’s a very high and uncomfortable stepladder to reach a mattress that is very close to the ceiling. The staff doesn’t speak any English and we had to use Google translation with everyone. We were given the wrong room at first and waited 40 minutes to check-in. The woman didn’t know we had already paid for the room. Then the next day, we asked to leave our luggage before taking the train which they agreed to. And when we returned to gather them, they said they would charge us for this service as we were away for more than an hour. The staff wasn’t very cooperative or nice and wouldn’t let us leave. There is no sign or explanation anywhere about the fact that leaving your luggage is not free. It’s not written anywhere.
