Ulasan Beachfront Hotel Hokitika

The hotel room was very clean and staff were friendly despite working on Christmas Day. The room we stayed in was facing the street but it didn’t affect our sleep. Bed was really comfy!

Found the carpet issue when checked in. Reported to reception, but was told to send detailed information to hotel email by myself for clarification.

Location was decent for a small town, with a mini mart nearby and several dining options around. The staff were very nice and friendly. One of my family members wasn’t sure how to use the heated blanket, so they didn’t take it out, which made it look like the room wasn’t used. The next day, the staff actually called to check if we were okay, as they were concerned we might have caught a cold from not using the heated blanket. I thought that was a really thoughtful gesture.

Excellent beachfront hotel with Seaview. Food & services at the restaurant were exceptional. Highly recommended 👍

The front desk staff were friendly. All the interesting venues were near the hotel. Even the supermarket was near the hotel. Thumbs up!

Having a supermarket right across the street was super convenient for stocking up on supplies. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. It's very close to the coast, perfect for a leisurely walk. There are self-service laundry facilities available: detergent is 2 NZD, a washing machine cycle (50 minutes) is 4 NZD, and the dryer is also 4 NZD. It didn't seem heavily used and was spotless.

This is a lovely hotel and we had a good recharge during our stay here. It’s near to the beach and enjoying the sunset.

Great location to walk to town. We had Christmas dinner buffet which was amazing! Best trifle I have ever tasted!!!

The Beachfront Hotel is in an ideal location, with easy access to both the beach and the town. The service was friendly, and the breakfast staff went out of their way to ensure I was well looked after. The room was clean and comfortable. My room faced the front street and was a little noisy at times, but overall it served its purpose well.

The hotel is right on the beach, and our room offered lovely sea views. While the room facilities were a bit dated, everything was spotlessly clean. It provided decent value for money. However, being on the west coast, the waves were quite strong. What should have been soothing white noise from the ocean actually ended up being a bit too loud.

No room cleaning for the second day. Very small room, hard to find a space for my luggage. The receptionist told me use steps with my heavy luggage. When I asked the receptionist about lift, she told me no lift in the hotel. Only good thing for this hotel is very close to the beach, but it is a very small town, any hotels/motels will be close to the beach.

No hot water when second person took shower. Sewer water back into washroom floor.
