From the moment I stepped into the room, I was completely captivated by the superb, uninterrupted sea view. The endless blue ocean stretched out before me, and waking up to the sound of gentle waves each morning felt nothing short of magical.However, the stunning scenery was not the only highlight. The customer service was equally impressive. Every staff member I encountered was warm, attentive, and genuinely eager to help. Whether it was a quick request at the front desk or a thoughtful gesture during breakfast, I always felt sincerely cared for. To be honest, everything about this hotel exceeded my expectations. The room was spotless and comfortable, the facilities were excellent, and the overall atmosphere was both relaxing and luxurious. I had not anticipated such a wonderful experience, but I left feeling completely satisfied and deeply grateful. In conclusion, this hotel offers not only a spectacular sea view but also outstanding service and an all-around fantastic experience. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect getaway, and I cannot wait to return.

PPengguna TetamuMy recent visit to this traditional 四合院 , and it was honestly one of the most memorable travel experiences I’ve had. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by how beautifully the space preserved its classic architectural charm—wooden beams, tiled roofs, and a peaceful inner courtyard that felt like stepping back in time. Despite its historical feel, the amenities were modern and comfortable, with clean rooms, cozy bedding, and thoughtful touches throughout. What really stood out was the atmosphere. The courtyard created a quiet, serene environment, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Sitting there in the morning with a cup of tea or in the evening under soft lighting felt incredibly special. Although the first night had quite a lot of mosquitoes, the electrical mosquito repellent provided was very effective and made a big difference for the rest of the stay. If you’re looking for something beyond a standard hotel and want a more cultural, immersive experience, I highly recommend trying a 四合院 homestay. It’s a unique way to connect with traditional living while still enjoying modern comfort.

PPengguna TetamuWe visited the place in a low season so not sure how different the experience would be if the island and the hotel would be full of visitors. The hotel is managed properly and it is well maintained and kept clean. The facilities are well organized and fixtures and decoration well planned and if high standard. Parking is not with high capacity but properly designed for safety and charging points are available for EV cars. Accessibility to some rooms through the dinning area is a bit awkward and the same rooms may have poor privacy with their windows next to the pool/garden area. We stayed in a two bedrooms pool family room - well appointed with good design. View from the room and the external veranda was stunning, while privacy even on the covered pool balcony is secured. Fixtures and amenities of high standard. Room service was limited to few western dishes but overall good enough to be available! Very happy to have selection of pour over coffee! Breakfast was ok - can be improved in terms of quality & standard - no needed extra variety. Overall happily with the stay - price was on the high side.

PPinkyPeanutThe room was extremely clean and dust free which is the most important thing for me. It was cleaned daily spotlessly. The only hotel where the floor was so clean that I could walk around in my bare feet. The bed was also very comfortable and the lighting in the room is very thoughtfully done. There's floor lighting so you can watch shows on the projector clearly for free on their iQiyi subscription. You can walk to all the attractions in Xiaogongyuan. There's also a Luckin and McDonald's nearby. There is a school next door as another reviewer said but it was only noisy on Tuesday (sounded like Physical education classes) and on Wednesday the school was quiet. Only suggestion I have is to have a map with nearby food recommendations and attractions marked out or organize the list of food recommendations by location so it's easier for guests to find. Other guesthouses do this. Something for you to consider.

TTravellingWallyNo regrets paying more for this beautiful homestay! 花多点钱住这里一点遗憾也没有！ My parents, sibling and I stayed for a total of 3 nights in their 4 pax room. It’s a beautiful and tastefully decorated accommodation with personal courtyard and interior. Bed and duvet were so comfortable especially in the chilly weather of 18 ~ 22 degrees. I didn’t spot anything obvious I can complain about regarding the cleanliness of this place, hence 5/5 for cleanliness. Location is perfect (5/5). Next to streets of food places that have good ratings, and super near 万象城 shopping mall (restaurants, luxury shops, retail and more). Anyways cabbing around Shantou is really convenient, fast, and affordable. Even though it is nested amongst other tall residential area, once we close the door we couldn’t hear much noise from outside. Service is 5/5 as well. There’s free pickup and drop off serviced from the railway station. There’s daily fresh fruits delivered to us, as well as chicken soup. There’s also free laundry service which we really appreciate! Staffs were always ready to help and always ready to give recommendations. We really felt their hospitality and they are genuine in providing best service possible. Amenities is 5/5 as well. The hair dryer is Laifen brand which is so strong and sleek looking. They provide disposable towels on top of those reusable towels. Their slippers are fluffy and comfy. They have like everything we need. Bonus: Their residential cat and her kittens are adorable!!! All in all wonderful stay and would stay again if i ever visit Shantou again. Suggestions for improvement: (1) more variety in breakfast options (stayed for 3 nights and felt that some breakfast options would be great), and (2) the shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner are a little too hard to pour out maybe can consider using press bottles.

CcalilopezzThe location is close to several restaurants and shops however, the building itself is looks very old and shabby from the outside. Once you enter the room though it is very aesthetically pleasing while the all white aesthetic is hard to keep clean. The couch looked a little old and dirty when you look closely but in pictures everything looks nice. There is a great cafe and steam bun place down the street for breakfast. It is a 10 minute walk to the harbor where you can walk and relax at night or stroll in the sun during the day. It is a 10 minute drive to Zuimei Beach which was very convenient. From the bridge it is about 25 minute drive, located right in the middle of the island. In general for the price we paid I felt it was totally worth it, the staff was nice, and they helped us park for free about a 5 minute walk down the street. They had toothbrushes in the room but also had an area to get other amenities like mouth wash, hair ties, bug spray, etc. They also had water that you can help yourself to. The best part? At the end of the night they delivered a bag with milk and heated eye masks before bed. This was unexpected and very cute. CCocoon777I am traveller from Thailand. We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The room is large and tidy with a great city view. The hotel admin is very helpful, providing well-instructed on how to check-in and check-out. If you confront any problem, the admin will assist you with fast response. (Note: You can contact the admin via wechat which trip.com will provide the admin's phone number after booking). The hotel provides necessary amenities such as towels, shampoo, shower gel and toothbrush set. Also the hotel provides luggage storage too. In case your flight departs after check-out time, you can still travel in city without dragging large luggage around. The hotel location is very convenient as it situates in downtown where you can go to shopping malls (MixC and Suning Plaza) within 5 minutes walk.

PPengguna TetamuFirstly, we were misguided to think that this is a homestay i.e. a building with a few rooms out for rent. It is actually a modern apartment but scattered over 2 separate high rise blocks. So our group of 4 families had to stay in different blocks due to room configuration. One block has one room whilst the other has 2 rooms. Putting that aside, the accommodation was good. Clean and spacious. The owner was very accommodating as one of the room’s bedding configuration was not suitable for one family but he immediately appointed another unit for them so it was resolved. Beware of the very hard bed even for my standard! There is a washing machine in the unit and a little patio with a fridge and sink but no cooking facilities. Kettle and chinese tea provided and our room has a projector! Dunno how to switch on for shows though due to remote all in chinese. Location was strategic but we had own transporter so it didn’t matter but easily walkable to eateries and convenience store.
