Our stay here was good. The girl at reception is very kind and always wants to help, and even gave us a lift to the train station when we left, but you need to ask in advance. The hotel is right next to the scenic area of Furong. Our balcony and room were beautiful- but our mosquito net was broken so the room got very damp. Also there was some mould on the curtain in the bathroom and the chair on the balcony. The breakfast was free and very nice, although the kitchen it is cooked in looks a bit unclean which put me off. There was free snacks but no free water which we have experienced everywhere else in China. It looks beautiful at night. I wish it was cleaner.

Nice view from the balcony but is not exactly at the main waterfalls area. Room is nice and clean and bed is comfortable. Hotel staff is friendly to help us to purchase entrance ticket and share what's around the area. Hotel provided 1 way free pick up from train station but will need to pay for the return but I think is fine. They will help to arrange for carpooling. The road is uneven so will take some time to drag the luggages from entrance to hotel. There is no lift in the town, so we need to carry our luggage 2 flight of steps downward (no choice). Hotel staff also willing to help carry. Overall a great stay even is 1 night only. Will recommend to stay in this hotel.

It's a pity that they were doing maintenance to the river in front of my room. Otherwise it will be absolutely perfect. This hotel is rustic with traditional ancient local decorations. It really gives you the mood and vibe being in an ancient town.
The service is amazing. Friendly and pleasant staffs which will give you tips on what to do around here. They also provide pick up from the train station which we really appreciate.
This hotel is located near the famous bridge. It is quieter this side. The square with performances is just 5 mins walk. The waterfall is about 10 mins walk from the hotel. No problem getting food nearby. There's a mini mart few steps away as well.
The room aircond is good, WiFi and shower could be better. Bed is comfy and it has a huge TV.
Overall I think this hotel is a good choice for it's location and affordable pricing.

Surprisingly high end rooms at this well located inn just 3 min walk to the old town. Run by a very friendly group of owners. The beds were large and soft, with high thread count bedding. Bath amenities were upmarket, and showers were hot. A word of advice - link up with the hotel via Wechat or Skype prior to arrival, so that they can direct the taxi driver from Furong High Speed Rail direct to the hotel doorstep. Otherwise, like the rest of china, you got to rely on the Baidu map to get navigation to the hotel.

I took a long time researching and almost booked 2 other Instagram popular Minsu only to cancel and take this one instead. I am glad I did because this Minsu has the best view in whole of Furong Town! Many people make the mistake of wanting to stay right and close by the waterfall but the beauty of Furong Town is the wide landscape view of its ancient grounds and gorgeous waterfalls. As such, a view from a certain distance will be the most ideal and the most perfect. We simply love this accommodation! This Minsu is located by the entrance of the Furong Ancient Town. As you start your exploration into the town, you will be taken along multiple paths that will eventually lead you to the waterfall, as you walk through the trail and enjoy the waterfalls. Continue down and hike up into the cliff side steps until you see signages that point towards an exit. You will see some structures that is half built- walk up and then walk straight out and a left turn and you find yourself right back at the Minsu! The location is simply brillant ! We stayed in the 2 bedder suite and had such a wonderful time in the room enjoying the comfortable beds and the great view, we found ourselves lounging indoors most of the time only venturing for a bit outside when the weather was cooler. We will definitely recommend anyone to come and stay in this Minsu. Be sure to also have your dinner there , the food is good and views even better! You will not regret!
The Minsu provides to and fro from the railway station , please add them in WeChat and arrange! They are very friendly !

SSS-SingaporeThis has goto be the best room I had in my 16 days trip. Reached the Furong Station earlier than expected. Message the boss of the homestay and he reached the station with his cool jeep in 10 mins. Super good service! Reached the homestay in about 15mins, had a good chat with the friendly boss who grown up there. As the homestay is located in the scenic area, you will need to pay the entry ticket (108rmb) at the gate. The ticket is valid for 3 days. Do remember to bring along the ticket when you are out walking or decided to leave the scenic area. The Guard at the gate will scan your ticket when you re-enter to the scenic area. It's a very nice chill ancient town. The room I stayed was 502. It's super super nice, big, clean and even have a roof window and attached balcony. Can tell the couple put in alot of effort to maintain the homestay. I totally enjoy my night there. The boss was very kind to send me to the Rail station as well. They usually only provide one way service during peak season. Will highly recommend anyone who is going to Furong to stay here.

PPatrik_ROur stay at this charming hotel was truly remarkable. The owners were exceptionally nice and friendly, going above and beyond to assist us. The hotel's excellent location allowed us to easily reach main tourist attractions on foot. The room was pleasant and impeccably clean. The owners' hospitality shone through as they picked us up from the train station and dropped us back the next day, despite the language barrier. They generously provided a small dinner snack and fresh mandarins, adding a personal touch to our experience. Their helpfulness extended to every aspect, making it a memorable and welcoming stay. We highly recommend it.

PPengguna TetamuWe are two people travelling from the UK. We had no problems booking on Trip and checking in to the hotel with our passports.
The hotel is beautiful with lots of character and charm, even more so when lit up at night by lanterns. There is dark wood and tasteful decorations. There are communal areas to sit.
We had booked a standard double but they very kindly upgraded us to the top floor room, which had amazing views of the old town and a balcony with table and chairs. The air conditioning was excellent, the beds comfortable, the shower was hot and powerful, it was very clean. The room had a TV, kettle, cups, shampoo & body wash, plugs by both sides of the bed, insect repellent plugs, towels. The hotel page mentions a fitness room but there isn’t one. There is a washing machine for use, as well as laundry detergent. The balcony had a rail we hung the clothes on to try.
Our room was on the top floor and there wasn’t a lift - not a problem for us but mentioning it for others.
For breakfast, we requested a time and they brought it to the room. We were given a few options to choose from. We had noodles, dumplings, mini banana bread and mini brioche bread. It came with small cartons of milk so we could have instant coffee we had brought ourselves.
Above all, the hospitality and friendliness of the hotel owners was wonderful. They were so helpful. We used translate apps and WeChat app to talk. They ordered a comfortable taxi to take us to the train station. They helped carry our bags upstairs. When we checked in, they offered us local snacks containing tofu, rice, peanuts. They can get discounted entrance tickets to the town for you as well - we did not use this and just bought our tickets at the entrance. They sent us useful information via WeChat.
The location of the hotel is excellent. It is just inside the entrance to the old town, and a few metres from the start of the scenic loop around the town. You can reuse the tickets to go in and out. Lots of restaurants nearby in the scenic area, and a large supermarket very close to the hotel, just outside the scenic area. A short Didi ride from the high speed train station as well.
Totally recommend this hotel if you are visiting Furong Ancient Town, especially the lovely people who run it. Thank you for a lovely stay!

It can be reached by car in a few minutes near the east gate entrance of the scenic area, 800 meters away from Wulingyuan Bus Station, 800 meters away from Charming Xiangxi Theater, and 10 minutes away on foot. It is very convenient for travel. There is a pedestrian street at the entrance of the hotel, and there are special restaurants around. There are also night markets, banks, pharmacies, supermarkets, fruit stores, shopping malls, specialty stores, clothing stores, barber shops, etc. nearby, which are very convenient for shopping and dining. 2. Brand new facilities and equipment: The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with advanced bathrooms and sufficient hot water. The quilts are very warm and comfortable to sleep. 3. Clean and comfortable: Clean the room and change toiletries in time every day. 4. Intimate and thoughtful service: The proprietress is an English teacher. She kindly and patiently took me to visit the hotel room, made a free travel guide for me and bought discounted tickets for the scenic area, invited me to lunch and dinner, provided free fruit and free breakfast, cared about my travel on the way every day, and greeted, communicated and gave me directions in English from time to time. Thanks to the enthusiastic help and thoughtful service of the boss lady, my trip to Zhangjiajie was very happy and smooth. If you are a foreigner traveling to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park like me, I recommend staying at Xifu Bay Resort Hotel.

CChongtuamGreat location! Not far from the city entrance. You can walk to many attractions from the hotel. The staff so welcoming and helpful. You can book a room with railway pickup service. She gave good recommendations and assist us finding car back to railway station. She even gave hair pin and snack for us to have on the early morning train. The room has some stains on the wall but everything else was clean. It was cozy with all necessary amenities. I wish I can rate more than 5 stars on service.

PPengguna Tetamu酒店交通：離景區入口一百米左右，步行兩分鐘就能到景區，位置就在芙蓉老街上，很舒適。停車也比較方便可以停在客棧樓下免費得噢~設施：樓下是店主得藥店~哈哈哈我覺得很方便有點不舒服樓下兩個醫生中西醫都有。房間我們選的小一點得畢竟衹有兩個人，去的那天老闆娘讓自己選房間，真的超級超級好！房間雖小五臟俱全什麼東西都齊全，而且衛生真的是旅遊這段時間住過得最乾淨得一家！不臟不亂不差！服務：老闆跟老闆娘人都超級好！還有他家得小兒子哈哈哈特別好玩，真的非常喜歡他們一家的氛圍！停車開車老闆都會幫忙看真的很好！餐飲：地道小吃老闆娘安排給我了！晚上她們家做了油炸小土豆還給我留了一份我真的哭死！家人們真的太好吃了嗚嗚嗚哪怕我回四川了都想念得味道。因為貪吃想吃當地美食問了老闆娘就在客棧旁邊得飯店！田螺米粉都超好吃~全部空盤了我是真的很推薦這家客棧！乾淨又衛生！真正的賓至如歸

The room was clean and the tv contains many English movies, which is great if you want to chill and relax in the room. The host also gave me some free fruits and biscuits, which is nice. The inn is located inside the Furongzhen old town and is near the main attractions in the old town. The value-to-price ratio provided by the inn is high. The host provides a free one-way ride to/from the railway station, and they kindly helped me to arrange a ride with a driver to go back to the station. During my checkout, to my surprise, the host provided me with some free water, fruits and biscuits for breakfast to takeaway, so a big thank you to the inn for being such a wonderful host for my trip in Furongzhen!

GGarryOda was very accommodating and made sure that my stay was as good as could be. I originally had trouble finding the hotel, but Oda went out to find me after I made a call to the hotel. The location is right in the scenic area and has one of the best views of the Furong waterfall. It was an added bonus that I was given a free room upgrade since it was available for the day that I was staying there. Overall I really enjoyed my stay at Tianquan Inn for my short trip to Furong Town.
