"Beautiful traditional guesthouse right by the river — perfect location for exploring the old town of Fenghuang. The rooms are clean and cozy, with lovely wooden decor and a nice balcony view over the water. The owners are super kind and helpful, even though their English is limited, they really make you feel welcome. Great atmosphere and excellent value for money. Highly recommended if you want an authentic stay in Fenghuang!"

"This hotel is amazing! I' have been travelling in China for around 20 days now and this one is the best i have stayed. The ambient is gorgeous, so is very pleasant just to stay around. There is ethereal music playing and fishes in a ”lake”. It seems i'm in another universe. The room is beautiful, with a balcony and a nice view. It is very close to the entrance of the waterfalls. The owners/employes are very helpful and kind! They treated very well, give me advices and even gifts. They are very sweet! They also pick me up in the station and make sure i had everything i needed. The breakfast was wonderful also. It's a 5 star for sure!"

Waking up and seeing the beautiful view at the waterfall was breathtaking and a highlight of my stay. My room was immaculate and well equipped with all the amenities one could wish for. "We had a lovely stay here, it was a great location to be with the two night shows a close walk in either direction. Lovely to be with a balcony along the water and near one of the small waterfalls, both during day and nights lovely experience. They kindly messaged and organised to pick us up from the train station free of charge. They helped us with our bags as in the old town, cars cannot go down the last bit of cobblestone and there are stairs to get to the room, but it was very manageable and as mentioned they also kindly helped us. They also organised a taxi back for us to the station. And when I forgot my earrings after checkout (I had not noticed) the cleaner found them so promptly within 30 minutes that they were kind enough to get them back to me before I had even left for the station, their diligence and helpfulness is greatly appreciated. Would absolutely recommend staying here."

"I initially thought the online reviews might be exaggerated, but my experience far exceeded expectations. The room had a Chinese-style decor with solid wood furniture paired with natural rock, giving it a very luxurious feel. At night, the sound of the waterfall acted like natural white noise, ensuring a very peaceful sleep. What's more, the butler service was exceptionally attentive and quick to respond, fulfilling every request and making our stay incredibly comfortable."

"This is an unbeatable accomodation in Furong ancient town. Situated right on the waterfall next to the bridge, it’s such a beautifully central stay. It’s right next to the main bridge that overlooks the scenic area, and a 5min walk to the waterfall view points. The rooms are a gorgeous wooden design, complete with a modern bathroom, and amenities. The owner was kind enough to contact me and arrange free transport from the train station, and a discounted entry ticket into the town (90 RMB, payable upon hotel arrival). I had booked a large single room but was given a different one with two beds, odd but alright. Be aware the town is vibrant at night and music/karaoke only stops at 10:30pm."

"I’m a kiwi girl travelling through the Hunan province for the first time and I am so glad I chose this accommodation! I keep telling everyone to go here because it was incredible! The staff go above and beyond to ensure you have a comfortable stay. They’ll pick you up from the train station, carry your bags through the cobblestone streets and upstairs to your room. They took me to the evening performances, brought me snacks and recommended restaurants. When the restaurant didn’t have cocktails, the staff went back to the hotel to make me a cocktail!!! The location was divine and the view overlooking the waterfall and town took my breath away. The amenities were incredible also, everything was up to date and could be voice activated. My only area of improvement was the hole in the skirting by the bathroom and a cockroach crawled out of there but I would 100% go back again!!"

"Service: Absolutely fantastic! A staff member from the hotel was there to pick us up right after we arrived at the high-speed train station, and the car was a comfortable business vehicle. Cleanliness: Spotless. Location & Amenities: The hotel is incredibly close to the scenic area. A great bonus is that you can purchase discounted attraction tickets from the lobby a day in advance. Facilities: Very well-equipped, and they even have robots delivering takeout! Thoughtful Touches: They also prepared complimentary welcome fruit in our room. Overall, it was an amazing experience! Highly recommend it!"

"In the heart of the Ancient town, everything on a walking distance. Reasonable WiFi. Very comfortable bed, pillows, spotless clean white linen. Just the shower towels were smelling cigarette!  The gentleman from the reception picked us up from the train station, offering us a free transfer.  We choose a room with a balcony facing the river with a beautiful view from the bridge.  Clean room  Staff do not speak English but we used a translation app to communicate."

"We stayed at the hotel for one night during the golden week! It was super busy but we enjoyed our stay a lot! The view is really nice on the bridge! Luckily it’s not in the middle of the town (because of the noise and busyness) I liked the location a lot because we could walk everywhere!! Great bathroom, super nice shower! Bed was comfortable ! Room was clean! No elevator but they helped us with our suitcases! Very kind host brought us to the train station the day of departure!"
