AAshleigh CWe stayed here last night for our 21st wedding anniversary, a gift from our daughter, as we were married in Gretna Green. From the moment we arrived and were greeted at the door until the moment we left, Maurice and Loreen made us feel incredibly welcome and well cared for. The room was charming and, without a doubt, one of the cleanest accommodations I’ve ever stayed in—which is very important to me. I couldn’t find a single speck of dust anywhere. The two-course breakfast was absolutely delicious, with so much attention and care. Thank you so much for hosting us and helping to make our anniversary truly special.

Easy to find and get on and off the motorway on way up to Scotland. Good rooms , we had a superking which was great with everything you could need plus lovely hospitality tray with tea , coffee and biscuits. Even a jar of chocolates! Bathroom with good shower and toiletries , even toothbrushes and toothpaste in case you forget yours. Easy to walk up for a look at the blacksmiths shop and the outlet village if you want. Good price too especially if you book direct. Dawn was a perfect host, thank you for a great stay.
