I had booked this homestay several day before i stayed . It is located near borobudur temple. Its easy to find out this place by google maps and actually near the main road . When we check in around 8.30 p.m. ,just put my ID card and then he escort to the room and no more information . I try to asked the wifi but he is gone. The room is spacious but simple just bed , 1 chair and fan . The bathroom is okay , they didn't provide amenities , towel just 1 but we two person stay . The hot water didn't work so we take a shower with cold water . During the night we sleep well but during early morning we can hear the motorcycle or cars sounds and other guest in the next door with infant crying during 4 a.m. so we can't continue our sleep. For breakfast you can order to the cafe and price list was put on the chair . But you can find out in the other place cos there are so many place to buy the stuff for your breakfast. FYI no bottle water, and electric kettle. My bad experience during stay is when i finish shower , i got bite wasp on my hand . When i check out in the main room i found the nest of wasp in the roof , i report to the desk during our check out time . And the main hanging lamp need to be clean cos there are cob web.

This is a guest house not a hotel, so there might be lacks here and there if you expect this place as a hotel. Stayed here with family and got the room on the ground floor facing the field. The room is big and clean but the bathroom couldn’t be closed properly without locking the door. During our stay, there was a renovation on the room above ours so it was noisy during the day. This place is verrrrry close to Borobudur, so it’s a good choice if you wish to visit Borobudur, just some meters away by foot. So many places to eat, there’s alfamart (brand of mini mart) nearby, making this place a good budget choice! Please note that like most cities in Indonesia, there are mosques so expect prayer’s sounds even at dawn.

I stayed for 2 nights and loved the quiet location (many other places are located on the main road which can be quite noisy) with great views looking across rice paddies toward the temple, which is just a short (~15 min) walk out the front door. Francesca and her staff did everything to make us feel welcome and comfortable, from bringing a cool drink when we arrived to making coffee for us at 6 AM. The meals were delicious, and the rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable - I loved the feeling of a boutique inn with outstanding attentive service - would definitely recommend this to any friend coming to Borobudur!

CCHEW KENGLocation is good as walking around 10 minutes from Burobudur ticketing office. Staff are friendly and water dispenser for cold, warm and hot are available at common area which is good.

TTuya22I had a delightful stay at this small family home stay. Tomo and his wife were incredibly sweet, always accessible, and genuinely helpful. Opting for the deluxe room was a great choice – clean, and the daily cleaning option was appreciated. The traditional breakfast was delicious and healthy. The proximity to Borobudur temple and local eateries, combined with a quiet atmosphere, made the location great. A few minor suggestions for improvement include proper netting on ventilator holes in the room, fixing the squeaky bathroom door, and loud noises from the bathroom air con. Overall, a lovely place with a welcoming family touch.

HHarry_Teh_BotolMe and my wife just stayed in Amrta Borobudur a few days ago. We were driving and on our way back from Yogya to Jakarta after visiting a family. And we thought staying a night or two in Borobudur area would be nice. We were quite flexible on timing and didnt really have itinerary. After going around Borobudur area, looking at one hotel to another, we found this small hotel, close to entrance of Borobudur temple and with a great view. My wife checked the review on Tripadvisor and felt its a good hotel for us. And we really love this hotel. Its quite small; only having around 10 rooms and cottages. But it's strategically located; near Borobudur, not far from small traditional restaurants. And it had padi fields view. We chose Arjuna room (or shoukd I say cottage?), which was quite large and had its own terrace facing padi fields. The interior of the room was designed using java traditional style but the amenities were modern. Bathroom was large and hot water ran well. I would just like to suggest that they put glass in the shower instead of curtain. I was quite amazed with their attention to detail of the building. They also had a lounge with nice view. On one side you could see padi fields, on other side you could see coconut trees, and another side facing nice pool. We really enjoyed our stay there. The staffs were also very kind and attentive. We would like to thank mas Dani who was very helpfull and cared. With staffs like these, I believe many visitors would love to stay there. It's very sad that the pandemi has hit Indonesia tourism industry very badly. During our trip in Java, we were always the only guest in the hotel, including in this hotel. I really hope they will survive this challenge. So that many people would have a chance to visit and stay in this beautiful hotel and experience their hospitality. For us, for sure we would like to return again someday...

PPengguna Tetamubook 2 nites during borobudur festive. walking distance to gate 7 of borobudur temple. we chose bungalow type room . the bungalow made by old wood and it was extremely small for 2 people who brought 2 cabin luggage . we found difficulties to open our luggage inside the room . my friend choose to put his luggage inside the bathroom which was more spacious . bedroom was dark even with all lamp turned on . bathroom had better lighting than bedroom . building maintance need to be improved . many dirt stains on the sink, toilet , and bathroom wall. breakfast was basic and a bit lack of taste , we chose to have lunch/dinner at nearby restaurants
