Hotel terbaik di Borobudur

The key value-add of Borobudurhills is the availability of a private pool so definitely go for the Villa with Private Pool! Our private pool turned out slightly bigger than I had expected so I was pleasantly surprised. The entire outdoor area was really really nice with the large lounger perfect for a cuddle. We would have had a completely quiet and peaceful stay if not for the muslim prayers that were regularly broadcasted throughout the day, but that's beyond the management's control. Special thanks to the management as well for accommodating our date change directly even though this was not an option in our original booking with ***********. While our room had all the essentials, it could level up its aesthetics. This, plus the slightly off-grid location with no F&B options around (we ordered Grab food delivery) did feel like a slight mismatch with the price point of Boroburdurhills.

Pondok Tingal has a new design in almost all rooms. there is even 1 building that is completely new, with a contemporary design concept, and fresh. has a swimming pool, clean bathrooms, spacious rooms. The swimming pool is a great place to relax in the afternoon for family.

Me and my wife just stayed in Amrta Borobudur a few days ago. We were driving and on our way back from Yogya to Jakarta after visiting a family. And we thought staying a night or two in Borobudur area would be nice. We were quite flexible on timing and didnt really have itinerary. After going around Borobudur area, looking at one hotel to another, we found this small hotel, close to entrance of Borobudur temple and with a great view. My wife checked the review on Tripadvisor and felt its a good hotel for us. And we really love this hotel. Its quite small; only having around 10 rooms and cottages. But it's strategically located; near Borobudur, not far from small traditional restaurants. And it had padi fields view. We chose Arjuna room (or shoukd I say cottage?), which was quite large and had its own terrace facing padi fields. The interior of the room was designed using java traditional style but the amenities were modern. Bathroom was large and hot water ran well. I would just like to suggest that they put glass in the shower instead of curtain. I was quite amazed with their attention to detail of the building. They also had a lounge with nice view. On one side you could see padi fields, on other side you could see coconut trees, and another side facing nice pool. We really enjoyed our stay there. The staffs were also very kind and attentive. We would like to thank mas Dani who was very helpfull and cared. With staffs like these, I believe many visitors would love to stay there. It's very sad that the pandemi has hit Indonesia tourism industry very badly. During our trip in Java, we were always the only guest in the hotel, including in this hotel. I really hope they will survive this challenge. So that many people would have a chance to visit and stay in this beautiful hotel and experience their hospitality. For us, for sure we would like to return again someday...

They just renovated July 2023, it's a clean and comfortable place to stay with family worth the price, location near the village, the kids are very happy because there are bicycles available to be used for cycling around the hotel, nasi goreng breakfast was delicious. Surely will come back.

I stayed for 2 nights and loved the quiet location (many other places are located on the main road which can be quite noisy) with great views looking across rice paddies toward the temple, which is just a short (~15 min) walk out the front door. Francesca and her staff did everything to make us feel welcome and comfortable, from bringing a cool drink when we arrived to making coffee for us at 6 AM. The meals were delicious, and the rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable - I loved the feeling of a boutique inn with outstanding attentive service - would definitely recommend this to any friend coming to Borobudur!

The homestay is quiet and clean. They offered me free breakfast and even drove me to the chicken church for free.

We spent one night at this property and really enjoyed it. The location is fantastic, very close to Borobudur temple (you can see the top of the stupor from the property) and also very close to Setumbu Hill. The rooms are rustic but clean and they had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean and spacious. The pool was lovely, overlooking the rice paddies as was the dining area. Our only downpoint was that if we wanted to order food it was cooked at another location and we had to wait quite a while to get it and then the wrong thing has been ordered but apart from this we had a great stay.
