This is truly very distinguished place i have ever experienced, nicely quiet and blended well with big Progo river at the back and traditional village around it. The location is near Borobudur temple, Pawon temple (very near) and Mendut temple. The village around hotel is also very interesting to be journey by morning jogging around it. As there are a lot of near tourism spot like Rengginang Cracker local home industry, Tingal Art batik, Paddy rice with Menoreh Hill scenery and also EloProgo art gallery and cafe which is very nice place to see by yourself and by walking only. Very great hotel and definitely worth for recommending to friends and any traveller. 👍❤️

amazing view and service, although far from lobby and parking but the staff were kind and helpful to bring our luggages. the breakfast was served to our rooms and the room was very spacious

酒店在山上，房間可以俯瞰村莊遠眺婆羅浮屠。每天清晨被鳥鳴聲叫醒，酒店裡傳統的印尼音樂如泉水叮咚，下午山腳下傳來誦經的聲音，夜晚在夜幕裏看着山下星火點點，放空的感覺就是這樣。酒店wifi很差，不過度假不就是要避世嘛。房間是印尼傳統建築，天花板和窗户都很有特色，床很舒服。早餐很豐盛，有西式的吐司和煎蛋，也有印尼的炒飯炒麪，還有大量水果果汁，味道都不錯。酒店還可以幫忙安排婆羅浮屠的登頂門票，車和導遊服務都很贊。是個很棒的選擇。

Amrta is very conveniently located to Borobudur Temple. Can actually walk to entrance. I had the room with view of nature; It was beautiful at sunrise My first breakfast outside was delicious but second one was less food. Customer service needs improvement - had to use WhatsApp -lacking English speaking staff Need training to be more caring about needs of international guests, Also, no hand soap in bathroom, I used my own. Shower head needs some improvement.

The location is amazing as you can see Borobudur from the Patio restaurant (where you will have breakfast)
Amenity is truly lacking: no gym of its own, instead need to go to its sister hotel : Plataran Heritage, the shared gym is a dusty small room with one treadmill, one workout dumbbell set
The spa also looks quiet old, we ended up going to another hotel for spa

CCHEW KENGLocation is good as walking around 10 minutes from Burobudur ticketing office. Staff are friendly and water dispenser for cold, warm and hot are available at common area which is good.

SSSMy room washroom encounter the stinky smells on the 1st night, very unfortunate the phone inside the room also out of order too. I’ve to close the door properly before sleep yet still have unpleasant smells in the room. I’ve told the night shift front desk officer about it, however he seems don’t understood and didn’t get the issue settle. Hence, I’ve requested to upgrade on the next day to the day time front desk officer, Herman if the issue can’t be solved. However, it’s fully booked, so I felt upset and helpless. Therefore, I’ve stressed to him I’m unable to give good rating in this case and get him to my room and experience it. He immediately
understood the issue and get someone to resolve the issue after I went out for early dinner. Afterwards the issue only comes back in a while and gone. Herman had got the cleaner take note of the issue too over the 6 days 5 nights stay.
I would like to give the compliment to Herman for this case. Besides, though the breakfast served only simple food, however I think is good for nutrition and everything are fresh. Especially the juice and fruit sections.

TTuya22I had a delightful stay at this small family home stay. Tomo and his wife were incredibly sweet, always accessible, and genuinely helpful. Opting for the deluxe room was a great choice – clean, and the daily cleaning option was appreciated. The traditional breakfast was delicious and healthy. The proximity to Borobudur temple and local eateries, combined with a quiet atmosphere, made the location great. A few minor suggestions for improvement include proper netting on ventilator holes in the room, fixing the squeaky bathroom door, and loud noises from the bathroom air con. Overall, a lovely place with a welcoming family touch.

IIslandsoulClean room, clean sheets and clean towels, and room sandals. But the hotel is lacking in charm since every inch is paved over and the brick walls are painted in a dark paint. More plants or color would be nice. The room has bare concrete floors, but the woven rugs smell moldy. The bathroom smells a little from poor plumbing. The main door and bathroom has gaps that insects can crawl through. The staff are sweet, and agreed to serve us our breakfast AFTER we visited Candi Borobudur. Lots of Food is available nearby on the main streets, this hotel is on a less busy street. It was raining so we did not use the pool. The wifi was strong in our room.

DDewiThey just renovated July 2023, it's a clean and comfortable place to stay with family worth the price, location near the village, the kids are very happy because there are bicycles available to be used for cycling around the hotel, nasi goreng breakfast was delicious. Surely will come back.
