Not a lot of frills but who spends there tropical vacation in a room ! lol Serves its purpose w great complementary Maldivian breakfast 🍳, hot water 💦 cool a/c n free refillable water bottles plus coffee , tea 5 min walk to anywhere on island 🏝️ PS - I jogged everyday round the island it took 10 min Looking for affordable hotel ! W basic necessities, clean ! This is your place Bonus they provided speedboat pick up from airport n drop off $25 , hotel employee meets u at boat dock n grabs your luggage

KKarina RI stayed 4 nights at this hotel which was enough as my first impression of the room was not what it looked liked online. It was very dated. The storage cabinets had broken off bits of wood and no flowers, fruit or towels wrapped up on bed as picture shows on their website of bed. The bathroom smelt upon arrival with the toilet blocking up twice. Yes I put toilet paper in the toilet first time then was told not to put toilet paper in toilet so didn’t after that but stilled blocked again. The lavender smelling sachet in bathroom was empty on arrival. Bed was hard. Lightbulb above mirror was blown in room. Room safe had key but numbers didn’t work. TV didn’t work. No signal. Reception was presented well. The breakfast was not great. Not much choice and all foods were cold. No heating of baked beans or sausages. The woman in the dining room was rude twice. Could have been more polite and friendly. I only had breakfast twice and it was very little. I could hear the staff out the back in the kitchen clearing their throat very loudly as if going to spit. I also heard this upstairs a few times by staff. I thought was disgusting. The stairs had broken wood and weren’t the safest. The guy who got my baggage when I arrived and also took it to the boat was the Hotels best asset. He was lovely and always had a smile. He was very respectable. It is very noisy there at night so no sleep until midnight as set surrounded by bars and restaurants playing loud music. Garden setting is lovely. Beach is across the road. Though can’t swim there. This hotel needs a refurbishment. The best part was the shower. Good pressure from large shower head. I rate it 3/5 for my stay. Also wasn’t given more loo paper when room was cleaned in day 3. Only cleaned once. Wouldn’t stay again.

JJaykop AAt first the reservation team was very good and support and respond for late reply and they assigned person to meet me at airport to help me so thanks for thim second when I arrived to airport I keep waiting the person who should meet me I didn't find him I went to pay sim card to call him after call he was not there and he ask me to waiting him next to help desk when he came he he didn't apologize and was very bad attitude hi ask me to wait for 5 min and despair after 10 min I called him again he say someone will come to meet you within 5 min and hang off the call I was so despondent I contact the reservation team to get any information and to complaining this person I was chocked when I know his the director manager his name is ”muaz” after 6 min I found him front of the bank change money for extra business after view minutes he came and send me with Other one to speed boat , speed boat take around 35 minutes to go to the island it was raining I found one of the staff waiting me with car to go to hotel he was so polite the cas is so clean we went to hotel they ask me to remove the shoes outside I'm agree with them but I prefer to offer sleeper for in house caz I don't like to walk on the floor with out flip flop the house was far from the water sport or the beach but the room was clean and good breakfast was pancakes hotdog , omelette jam and butter coffee tea orange juice packet not fresh for one day is good with this price

Location is near shops and food. Very close to beach. The island isn’t that big so this is average .. but the staff is so amazing. I’ve been to the island before this time I traveled with my daughters and everybody was amazing. The staff is so accommodating and extremely friendly. We even extended because we enjoyed ourselves so much. Management was very responsive and did whatever he could to make our stay 5 stars so they deserve 5 stars. We cannot wait to visit again because of the experience we had. Beyond grateful for the people who keep us coming back because of their hospitality and kindness.

PPengguna TetamuIt is a small island and there is one public beach (also called bikini beach). The location is between speedboat pier and bikini beach. In the tiny island arena and kaani hotel are the only two that are about 2-3 star hotel category others are more like guesthouse. incl. cyrstal sands. The building is noce from outside. the rooms are aged and there are mold at the corners and broken furnitures etc. We had problems with electricity it is gone several times. for above 130usd a night price in March, I found it very expensive (before covid we paid similar hotel 60-70 usd only). the prices in general seems to be much higher meanwhile not only this one. For dinner, 5-10minutes walk arena beach buffet for 18usd is very good offer. hotels own food offer is very limited. Staff is in general friendly and good. It is an option if you want to conduct day trips and use it for sleeping only.

El hotel Kaani Village forma parte de una cadena hotelera en la isla. El trato ha sido excelente desde el recibimiento, donde no tuvimos que llevar las maletas en ningún momento. La primera persona con la que tuvimos contacto fue con Magic, que nos dio su número de teléfono para cualquier cosa que pudiera pasar. La habitación tiene todas las comodidades: baño amplio, cama grande, enchufes, wifi, aire acondicionado, ventilador, mucha luz artificial y natural, así como acceso a la piscina interior. La playa está a menos de 2 minutos andando. El hotel ofrece todos los servicios directamente, sin terceros. Nosotros hemos hecho excursiones en las que hemos nadado con tiburones, tortugas, hemos visto el arrecife de coral, hemos jugado con las mantas raya y hemos comido en islas desiertas. Además los monitores que nos han tocado han tenido una atención impecable. Hemos coincidido con gente de muchas culturas y se nota el respeto que hay en general. El precio por excursión es de 30-50$ por persona, lo cual es muy asequible teniendo en cuenta que pasas gran parte del día fuera y te incluyen la comida. También ofrecen deportes acuáticos. Nosotros no hemos podido hacerlos porque nos ha faltado algo de tiempo en la isla. Hemos estado aquí 5 noches. En cuanto a la comida, nos hicieron una mejora respecto de lo que habíamos contratado y todas las comidas (desayuno, mediodía y cena) han sido en el Kaani Palm, que está en primera línea de playa. También nos dieron acceso sin mayor coste a la piscina infinita que tienen en la planta 9. Las vistas son increíbles. La playa que está enfrente es privada y sólo pueden acceder los residentes del hotel. En esta playa se puede ir en bikini sin problemas. Hay acomodadores que se encargan de todo lo que te pueda faltar: tumbona, bebidas, comida... Cabe destacar que la isla es una mezcla entre varias cadenas hoteleras y casa particulares de gente que reside aquí, por lo que no es tan artificial como si fuera una isla desierta con un resort. Hay muchos gatos que están muy humanizados, son buenos y se dejan acariciar. En general la experiencia ha sido muy positiva. Si tuviéramos que recomendar el viaje sólo aumentaríamos 1 o 2 días la estancia para poder hacer lo poco que nos ha faltado.

PPengguna TetamuStayed in this hotel for 4 nights and it was pretty disappointing…. As soon as we got to the room the sink was leaking, the safe was not working and the hotel is very worn down… it needs a serious paint job and furniture upgrade. Went to the reception and they sent someone to “fix” the sink… after waiting g for a while and calling they finally sent a person to fix the safe but we wasted like an hour to fix the sink and operate de safe box! That night it was hard to sleep as the bed was a hard as a rock and when I went to the bathroom in the middle of the night there were Cockroaches…. The next morning I talked to them as the sink was leaking again, and to complain about the Cockroaches and to see if they could change our room! They said they would fix the sink again, deep clean and put a thick comforter to make the bed softer. They cleaned but the following night we found more Cockroaches, even more than before…. The curtains are filthy like they have never washed them as well as the bed cushions, the walls need a couple of layers of paint, the hotel is surrounded but many construction site so it’s quite noise and this is the view you get from the pool view room, so save your money! The only good thing about this hotel is that it’s very close to the bikini beach and they can provide beach beds and also the tour we took with them was ok as the people were nice, it was advertised as a 9am-2pm tour but it actually ended at 1pm. If I ever return to the Maldives I will not stay at this hotel as I really dislike cockroaches

We stayed at Icom Hotels in Masfushi this August, and it was a great experience. The warmth of the staff made us feel welcome from the start, starting with the hospitality of the housekeeper up to Ali Adam, the General Manager, whose support and guidance made our stay feel like home. The company also offers trip services, which was perfect for us as active travelers. We enjoyed exploring the area and appreciated the recommendations for various activities. Finally, we’d like to extend our gratitude to Moosh, who took great care of us and was an incredible guide in helping us conquer the ocean. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the attentive service. We look forward to coming back!

PPengguna TetamuPLEASE READ THIS BEFORE BOOKING AND AVOID TO SPOIL YOUR HOLIDAYS!!! We spent 3 nights there and were treated as if we were money. We went to eat at the hotel restaurant and asked for fresh juice, they gave us very tasteless mango juice and told us that mango in maafushi is not sweet, we had the same juice in another part of the island and it was as we expected. Every time we sit down they insistently ask us if we want water, and even if we say no, they leave the water on the table and don't include it in the bill, as soon as we get up they run after us saying we have to pay for the water, obviously we told them that the water was still closed on the table and we didn't pay. They even charge a 10% service charge like everywhere else but they never bring us change and keep it for themselves. They cook without head cover or gloves and the food was of very poor quality. We asked to join an excursion at the reception 30 minutes before it started and they told us it was not possible to organise it, so we went to the beach, where there is a kaani beach, asked them directly and they organised it for us right away (they were very angry about the attitude of the receptionist and told us that receptionist did not even want to make a phone call). The night was a circus: very loud music from 9pm until 1am and it was not possible to sleep in the room or talk on the balcony because of the noise. Room service did not replace towels, beach towels or toilet the day of departure they told us that some beach towels were missing, so we had to waste time explaining that we hadn't received them the day before. And obviously they asked us to leave a good review in booking, this makes me think they think we are stupid. Avoid this place.
