Not a lot of frills but who spends there tropical vacation in a room ! lol Serves its purpose w great complementary Maldivian breakfast 🍳, hot water 💦 cool a/c n free refillable water bottles plus coffee , tea 5 min walk to anywhere on island 🏝️ PS - I jogged everyday round the island it took 10 min Looking for affordable hotel ! W basic necessities, clean ! This is your place Bonus they provided speedboat pick up from airport n drop off $25 , hotel employee meets u at boat dock n grabs your luggage

El hotel Kaani Village forma parte de una cadena hotelera en la isla. El trato ha sido excelente desde el recibimiento, donde no tuvimos que llevar las maletas en ningún momento. La primera persona con la que tuvimos contacto fue con Magic, que nos dio su número de teléfono para cualquier cosa que pudiera pasar. La habitación tiene todas las comodidades: baño amplio, cama grande, enchufes, wifi, aire acondicionado, ventilador, mucha luz artificial y natural, así como acceso a la piscina interior. La playa está a menos de 2 minutos andando. El hotel ofrece todos los servicios directamente, sin terceros. Nosotros hemos hecho excursiones en las que hemos nadado con tiburones, tortugas, hemos visto el arrecife de coral, hemos jugado con las mantas raya y hemos comido en islas desiertas. Además los monitores que nos han tocado han tenido una atención impecable. Hemos coincidido con gente de muchas culturas y se nota el respeto que hay en general. El precio por excursión es de 30-50$ por persona, lo cual es muy asequible teniendo en cuenta que pasas gran parte del día fuera y te incluyen la comida. También ofrecen deportes acuáticos. Nosotros no hemos podido hacerlos porque nos ha faltado algo de tiempo en la isla. Hemos estado aquí 5 noches. En cuanto a la comida, nos hicieron una mejora respecto de lo que habíamos contratado y todas las comidas (desayuno, mediodía y cena) han sido en el Kaani Palm, que está en primera línea de playa. También nos dieron acceso sin mayor coste a la piscina infinita que tienen en la planta 9. Las vistas son increíbles. La playa que está enfrente es privada y sólo pueden acceder los residentes del hotel. En esta playa se puede ir en bikini sin problemas. Hay acomodadores que se encargan de todo lo que te pueda faltar: tumbona, bebidas, comida... Cabe destacar que la isla es una mezcla entre varias cadenas hoteleras y casa particulares de gente que reside aquí, por lo que no es tan artificial como si fuera una isla desierta con un resort. Hay muchos gatos que están muy humanizados, son buenos y se dejan acariciar. En general la experiencia ha sido muy positiva. Si tuviéramos que recomendar el viaje sólo aumentaríamos 1 o 2 días la estancia para poder hacer lo poco que nos ha faltado.

PPengguna TetamuI booked Narnia based on reviews. I wonder where the good rating coming from. To start, upon arrival the receptionist, who also happened to be the all-around guy, refused to give us a room bc the owner (who was in Male and would not answer calls) did not inform receptionist of our arrival. We sat there frustrated and hungry and tired waiting for the owner to answer calls. Despite the confirmation and my bank receipt, we sat there waiting. Finally the owner confirmed, so we were ushered to our room. The bed was made but it obviously were used linen with stains and candy residues. There were candy wrappers on the floor. I asked Islam (the receptionist) for a broom and I swept the floor myself. The bathroom had some hair on the shower floor. The breakfast is mediocre— one hotdog and two toasted bread. No coffee. Coffee is on the counter for the guests to make but the canister was empty with only hardened coffee sitting at the bottom of the canister. Its lose instant coffee that everyone dug in to make their own cups. Worse was, when we checked out, Islam asked $7 for “services fee” per owner. What services!!!! Eventhough I paid every fees and taxes on my booking. Robbed us!!!! And mind you, I tipped heavily bc money helps. Also, the hotel is a walk away from the jetty, but quiet a distance from bikini beach. There is no view as the rooms do not have windows. I stayed in room 107. Please save your money and book somewhere else. There are better hotels a few steps away from bikini beach. Trust me, you will enjoy better.

KKarina RI stayed 4 nights at this hotel which was enough as my first impression of the room was not what it looked liked online. It was very dated. The storage cabinets had broken off bits of wood and no flowers, fruit or towels wrapped up on bed as picture shows on their website of bed. The bathroom smelt upon arrival with the toilet blocking up twice. Yes I put toilet paper in the toilet first time then was told not to put toilet paper in toilet so didn’t after that but stilled blocked again. The lavender smelling sachet in bathroom was empty on arrival. Bed was hard. Lightbulb above mirror was blown in room. Room safe had key but numbers didn’t work. TV didn’t work. No signal. Reception was presented well. The breakfast was not great. Not much choice and all foods were cold. No heating of baked beans or sausages. The woman in the dining room was rude twice. Could have been more polite and friendly. I only had breakfast twice and it was very little. I could hear the staff out the back in the kitchen clearing their throat very loudly as if going to spit. I also heard this upstairs a few times by staff. I thought was disgusting. The stairs had broken wood and weren’t the safest. The guy who got my baggage when I arrived and also took it to the boat was the Hotels best asset. He was lovely and always had a smile. He was very respectable. It is very noisy there at night so no sleep until midnight as set surrounded by bars and restaurants playing loud music. Garden setting is lovely. Beach is across the road. Though can’t swim there. This hotel needs a refurbishment. The best part was the shower. Good pressure from large shower head. I rate it 3/5 for my stay. Also wasn’t given more loo paper when room was cleaned in day 3. Only cleaned once. Wouldn’t stay again.

The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, providing a cozy and luxurious stay. The hotel's amenities, including the pool and spa, added to the overall relaxation and enjoyment. The location was perfect, with easy access to nearby attractions and restaurants. The complimentary breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options to start the day right. Location is near shops and food. Very close to beach. The island isn’t that big so this is average .. but the staff is so amazing. I’ve been to the island before this time I traveled with my daughters and everybody was amazing. The staff is so accommodating and extremely friendly. We even extended because we enjoyed ourselves so much. Management was very responsive and did whatever he could to make our stay 5 stars so they deserve 5 stars. We cannot wait to visit again because of the experience we had. Beyond grateful for the people who keep us coming back because of their hospitality and kindness.

Maamadi Boutique is literally heaven on earth. By far the best place I ever stayed at. This is what dreams are made of: Beautiful island, extremely attentive staff, delicious food/drinks, wonderful room and design. We loved every single minute there.

The hotel is 5 floor but didn't have elevator, though the staffs could help carrying luggage. The hotel locates on the opposite side of Kaani/Arena with sunrise views. Comparing to hotels on bikini beach it's cheaper here. If you book the sea view room you could see the sunrise from the balcony - which is stunning. Facilities in the hotel was a bit old but in line with its price. Saw some comments saying bed and pillows were hard, but to us it's fine. Had good sleeps on both nights. There was also a kettle in room so you could make tea of coffee, or for instant noodles. Shower is fine with stable hot water supply, face/hand towel was not provided and the bath towels seem a bit too old so we used our own compressed towels (how lucky we brought some). If you could afford the price of Kaani/Arena I would recommend those 2. But for sunrise on Maafushi, this would be your best choice.

PPengguna TetamuFor the price, it was great! We booked the double deluxe with the balcony (sea view). Although, it’s a basic hotel compared to the many all-inclusive hotels in the Maldives, it is still a good hotel . We had to go to their other hotel (just a minute away) for breakfast. There are a lot of choices, although, if you stay in their hotel for more than 3 nights, you might feel that there is not much choices. However, there are a lot of restaurants in front of the hotel.

PPengguna TetamuI was fortunate to spend two nights at Summer Villa Guest House on Maafushi Island in the Maldives. The staff provided excellent service, the rooms were clean, and the breakfast was delicious. They provide a wide range of activities, including water sports, swimming with sharks, snorkelling, and much more. The place is always full due to the excellent service they offer.I highly recommend this place to all my friends. Many thanks to Naseem and his family for their wonderful hospitality.
