I would give it 5 stars, but I won’t. The reason? I booked a seaview room to enjoy evenings on the balcony. At the moment it is 11 pm and just bellow our balcony there is such a loud (also bad and repetitive) music that our windows are shaking. Actually there are 10 people dancing(see photo) and half of the island suffering because of this nonsense. We also have early flight in the morning so who knows when this is gonna end so we can go to sleep. This is definitely not a place if you came to Maldives to relax. Otherwise clean place, friendly staff and good for exploring surrounding islands on day trips.

Themiya and Ruwan, the friendly faces at the front office, welcomed us with open arms and ensured that every aspect of our visit was seamless. Their professionalism and willingness to assist were truly appreciated, and they went above and beyond to ensure that all our needs were met. On the culinary front, Nipuna and Janith, the talented chefs at Arena Beach Hotel, took our dining experience to a whole new level. Their culinary creations were nothing short of exquisite, and each meal was a delightful journey of flavors. From delectable breakfasts to romantic dinners by the shore, Nipuna and Janith's culinary skills added an extra layer of magic to our honeymoon. The accommodations were luxurious, offering breathtaking views and all the comforts one could ask for. The pristine beaches and turquoise waters of the Maldives provided the perfect backdrop for romance and relaxation. Our gratitude goes out to all the staff at Arena Beach Hotel including Themiya, Ruwan, Nipuna, and Janith for their unwavering dedication to ensuring that our honeymoon was an unforgettable experience. We stayed as a family for 3 nights in the quadruple room which was spacious enough for 2 adults and 3 children to sleep comfortably. The quadruple rooms do not face the sea. The condition of the room is excellent and the hotels seems to be well maintained. Service wise, the staff are generally polite. The breakfast had limited options. Be warned, the cats literally dine with you in the restaurant and it appears to be a problem across the island. The beach is nice although it is not maintained as it should be. There were plenty of sun beds available. Water sports are very reasonably priced compared to average prices in Maldives. Overall, pleasant stay.

It was my husband’s birthday on 2nd of December and the whole F&B staff of Kaani Palm beach during breakfast helped me surprise my husband with a cake and celebrations and my husband was very happy because of such a sweet gesture. We would also like to appreciate Ms. Kadek from F&B in Kaani Palm beach, she’s extremely courteous and sweet and never stops smiling, she always has a pleasant smile throughout and takes care of her customers so well. Very down to earth lady, we wish her all the best for future endeavours. Keep up with your work Kadek! You are amazing!

Отдых в отеле Triton Prestige Seaview and Spa в ноябре 2022 года. Отель новый, современный, построен в 2021 году, отзывов почти не было, но решила рискнуть) Отличный отель! Всё новое. Персонал очень доброжелательный, встречают гостей коктейлем и холодным полотенцем, чтобы умыться с дороги. Весь период отдыха интересуются - всё ли хорошо. Номер изначально был с боковым видом на море, на 5 этаже, стандарт. Повторюсь, всё новое, уютно и стильно. В последние несколько дней меня попросили переехать, дали шикарный номер на высоком этаже с видом на океан! А еще душ там с видом на 🌊 океан! Приятный бонус и комплимент! На крыше отеля шикарный бассейн, с панорамным видом и красивой вечерней подсветкой. У отеля удачное расположение: на берегу океана, с выходом на пляж выходит (для местных, то есть на нем не купаются), поэтому там не шумно по вечерам, вечером расставлены столики и можно ужинать прямо вблизи водички. Чуть подальше метрах в 50 пешком расположен бикини бич, там можно купаться, персонал доставит лежак за несколько минут (нужно сказать на ресепшен), пока вы туда идете. Простой, но милый ресторан при отеле (брала 3 разовое питание, завтрак и ужин - шведский стол, а обед по меню - фото прилагаю, из него можно было выбрать 2 блюда, фрукты и напиток) очень вкусно всё! Многие туристы берут отель в качестве основного места дислокации, откуда путешествуют по Мальдивам в разные места. Цена на отель хорошая, учитывая новизну и качество, пока отель зарабатывает рейтинг, уровень отеля высокий. Рекомендую!

There is a lot of hotel choice in the Maldives, but there is something quite unique about Cocoa Island and that’s the feeling of being somewhere with people whom love to live and work there. There is a real sense of community in the staff and as per some of the other reviews, several have been there for over a decade. Although we were first time visitors, it was clear that many people had stayed and returned time and time again and felt they had a relationship with the staff. This was really unique for a hotel we felt. By far the physical best element of the island is the snorkelling straight from your room onto one of 3 private reefs. From here we saw reef shark, sting ray and a huge array of fish, this felt like a special to have this the moment you wake up at your disposal. Cocoa island is small and has a boutique feel. If you want to escape the crowds and have your trip feel a bit more bespoke than mass tourism, cocoa is a good option for you. If you want busy evenings and endless activities or entertainment the maybe not. It does just have one restaurant and one bar, but that should not deter your choosing this hotel, the variety on the menu/menus are vast and changes everyday in some way, with the themed set menu evenings additional to this, there is no need to get bored of the food, quite the opposite. The staff and chefs are also very varied in their skill and accommodating to your needs. The food is high quality, and masterfully executed every night, we could not fault it along with the huge array of drinks options, far beyond what you would expect from a resort of this size. Some of the best cocktails we’ve had. Overall, we would echo other reviews to say don’t come at CNY or half term if you want total peace and quiet, but this isn’t a particularly family orientated place, so as long as you are out of those main seasons it should be beautifully peaceful. The 45 min transfer by boat is convenient and easy compared to waiting for a seaplane. We would highly recommend.

Masala Street (inside White Shell Hotel): The entrance looks very fancy but when you step in, it's a kind of a let down where they have a plain room with tables and chairs put together. As this restaurant is attached to White Shell Island Hotel and Spa, their menu prices are all in USD, as is the case with all such other restaurants in Maafushi Island that are tied with a hotel. On the other hand, it seems that stand alone restaurants charge in MVR. A major negative is that they charge a 4% fee on the Bill of you pay by card, which doesn't apply if you pay by cash. The moment we told that we don't have USD and were about to walk out, the person said it's ok that we pay by card and he'll waive off the 4% fee. LOL! We had ordered Veg. Kadhai and Rotis (because their tandoor wasn't operational, so we couldn't have had naan) and were pleasantly surprised by the taste. It was very much like typical Indian taste. The rotis were phulka and served piping hot adding to the good experience. We would visit again, just for the taste.

I stayed in Triton hotel last Nov .2022 for 5 nights,really I enjoyed alot our stay in this hotel my room was sea view ,each day I woke up on stunning view,also the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful ,also the trips they offered were very nice and well organized, I hope to stay again in this hotel in my next trip to maldives

NEVER EVER AGAIN!!! I deeply regret recounting a disheartening array of issues during our stay at the hotel: Upon arrival, our assigned room was not only in a state of severe disrepair but also shockingly unclean. Despite a room change, persistent problems like a leaking toilet and malfunctioning air conditioning plagued our experience. Maintenance interventions, notably during planned fishing excursions, only heightened our frustration. Things that were mentioned in the folder are not even true, plus they lied about the constitution that was going on above our room, they promised that it will stop in the weekend but never did. Plus what bothered me was that the towels are not fresh and hygiene is far far from the norm. Dinner, scheduled at 20:00, was hindered by our aversion to spicy Indian cuisine, and the sleeping conditions were marred by disruptive noise, slamming doors, and inconsiderate fellow guests. Efforts to engage with the director for resolution were met with disappointment, as our concerns remained unaddressed. Scheduled activities faced setbacks, with delays and cancellations affecting a half-day excursion and a fishing trip due to a broken engine and adverse weather conditions. The subsequent request for a payment totaling 610 USD seemed disproportionate, leading us to cut our stay short after the second day. The half-day trip to Gulhi Island, conducted on an aged and sluggish boat, offered unappealing surroundings with an unpleasant odor. Promised photographs and videos of our experience were not delivered, intensifying our disappointment. Hand-fishing proved unproductive and induced seasickness amid high waves. Despite these challenges, it's important to commend a responsive woman who earnestly sought to rectify our grievances. Additionally, Mr. K's consistent politeness and assistance, especially in facilitating our return from the hotel to the boat, were notable. Unfortunately, despite these positive interactions, our honeymoon experience concluded on an unsatisfactory note, leaving us profoundly disheartened and dissatisfied with the overall quality of our stay.
