As always a warm welcome from Iris and GG. Rooms are immaculate and spacious, lots of choice at breakfast, and it’s restful sitting by the pool in the beautiful garden after a long flight.

PPengguna TetamuFrom April 15.-24th, 2022 we had the opportunity to stay in Mizizi‘s House of Sandton B&B. We experienced a warm welcome by our hosts creating a feeling „at home“ from the very beginning. We enjoyed a good room and an excellent breakfast throughout our stay. The beautiful garden and pool area was always open to us. Whenever needed we have been served with tea and coffee during the day. Our hosts Mary and Mumbi were always prepared to support our planning with fresh ideas. We could experience the highlights of Joburg and the region, meet the friends of our son and return home with the good feeling that our hosts will be available for some words about our day. We recommend to stay in Mizizi's House of Sandton for nice and safe holidays feeling at home!

Recently stayed Bellgrove and had a very enjoyable experience. The location is convenient, with easy access to restaurants. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, offering a cozy and comfortable atmosphere for relaxation. The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with any needs or questions. Breakfast was delicious, and the communal areas provided a nice space to unwind and relax I would only recommend additional toiletries (Small conditioner) Also appreciated the electric blankets in the rooms! —but overall, it was a wonderful stay. I would highly recommend Bellgrove guest House to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable place to stay.

Aadmin012024So I payed for an executive suite and stayed in that room for 5 nights, thereafter I was transferred to a small room for another 3 nights as the projector stopped working, I was then told I can either stay in that room without a TV or they can move me to a smaller room and refund me at R50 a night. The smaller room had Luke warm water to bath even after notifying them at the guest house. Breakfast is never on time, I had to check out without eating anything as my breakfast wasn't on time and I had to leave to Durban. I wouldn't be advising any of my colleagues to be staying here again. Maybe someone new can have a stay and they might get better service.

Thatchfoord is like a home from home. The owner, Joyce is so welcoming, and goes out of her way to ensure that her guests have the best experience! We wanted to invite friends to have afternoon tea with us, and she provided a wonderful spread for us to share with them! The location is brilliant - overlooking the Sandspruit River with it's birdlife and beautiful walks. The sound of the water flowing over the rocks is so calming - a bit like the waves of the sea. It's hard to believe that the bustling centre of Sandton is just 5 minutes away! Our room was large and comfortable, and breakfast is substantial. All in all, Thatchfoord will always be our favourite place to stay when we visit our family and friends in Johannesburg.

The establishment is quite lovely with an excellent location. Although my booking was advertised as including breakfast, this apparently only referred to some cereal, fruit and juice, which I found a bit misleading. I was informed that a hot breakfast can be ordered separately.

PPengguna TetamuThe stay at Marion's Lodge was extremely pleasant: well-equipped room, extremely friendly, helpful staff. The property is very attractively designed and located in a very quiet area. Nevertheless, easy to reach from the airport or 20 minutes by Uber to the city centre. Highly recommended!

Tempahan kami adalah pada saat-saat akhir dan kami mendaftar masuk agak lewat tetapi kami semua sangat mengalu-alukan! Tema hebat untuk setiap bilik juga. Sangat selesa dan bersih. Suka, sangat berbaloi untuk wang.
