It’s a decent location as it’s close to a metro station. However, the bathroom is small and not so clean. There’s only one toilet and a standing urinal for men. There’s no soft tissues in the toilet and you are left to use the hard tissues, which have given a rash on my bum. Shower towels are like hand towels and even 2 are not enough. I found red dyed hair on my bed, and I don’t think the AC inside the box actually works. I had to keep the door open at nights to avoid sweating. Piece of advice: move the card holder somewhere close to the entrance of the boxes. It’s hard to go up and find the card holder in the dark. I almost fell off as I was climbing up to my bed. I don’t think I’d book again at The Nap. Not a good experience for me. Sorry.

Highly recommended but beds are no goo. Way to hard and firm they need to change the mattresses

Cons: Noise and Capsule Size: Despite reminders to keep quiet, other guests in this capsule hotel often failed to follow the guidelines, leading to disturbances. The capsules are too small, and the thin mattresses made for an uncomfortable sleeping experience. The lack of proper ventilation necessitated opening the capsule door for air conditioning, affecting overall comfort. Unpleasant Odors: The pervasive smell of mothballs throughout the facility was overwhelming and contributed to headaches during our stay. Capsule Movement Disturbances: Guests occupying the bottom capsule may experience sleep disruptions due to excessive movement from capsules above, highlighting a design flaw in the sleeping arrangements. Small and Unsanitary Toilets: The restroom facilities were cramped, not sufficiently clean, and could benefit from improvement. While disposable towels and toothbrushes were provided, the overall cleanliness fell short of expectations. Disposable Slippers: The disposable slippers provided were criticized for being too small and thin, prompting a preference for wearing socks in the supposedly quiet areas. Cleanliness Concerns: While generally clean, the hostel could benefit from enhanced cleanliness standards to meet the expectations of discerning guests. Value for Money: Considering the price paid for our stay, The Nap Tsim Sha Tsui offered a value that was close to average. However, with several areas requiring improvement, the overall value could be significantly enhanced through better amenities and services. Conclusion: The Nap Tsim Sha Tsui provided a close-to-decent stay with room for improvement in various aspects. The convenient location and courteous staff were overshadowed by issues such as noise disturbances, uncomfortable sleeping conditions, unpleasant odors, and cleanliness concerns. With a commitment to addressing these shortcomings, this capsule hotel has the potential to offer a more satisfactory and better value-for-money experience in the future.

Location is really good, however there was a problem with check in process. As I came late in the midnight and couldnt check in through their system. Contacted the owner via Whatsapp, and she gave me this ‘attitude’ with high tone…

It’s a very nice hotel! Clean,quiet,comfortable

The other online reviews about the cleanliness of this hostel are real. 1.The most disgusting which I couldn't accept is that that someone hangs her own underwear in the public toilet. Not only one buy a few hanging around. 2. The bed in my capsule is sunken heavily. 3.The lift that is linked to the hostel is broken so I have to carry my luggage to another level side lift. 4. At my last day of staying in this hostel, the tenant who stayed at my upper deck, opening the door violently and it bangs to the wall of the capsule around 4 am twice, climbed up and down. I was having a deep sleep and suddenly woke up with a heavy heart racing and shocked by the loud bang created by the upper deck person.. 5. The address of the hostel from trip. Com and Google. Com are different. 6. The hostel is abit hard to find where is it. 7. The capsule buttons for different functions most of them are broken, can't use the function/not available. Especially the air circulation is not working. So I have to open a little bit of door to let the aircon come inside my capsule. 8. Questioning for the main entrance security, just out of curious not sure how long will they change the pass code once awhile. Based of my experience, I am abit doubting the security. 9. The entire environment doesn't looks like the photos showing online. Probably this business has been quite long awhile and many part of the amenities are old and unclean. 10. Someone took away my 1 time use towel and I have to call and request the management for 1. Positive side: 1.I think worker attitude is ok. 2.Safety wise is fine, there's a security guard 24 hours at ground level and cctv in this building. 3. Location is good. Beside the mtr train and also many walking distance for shops, shopping mall, food market etc. 4. 7-11 and local grocery market just beside. I think The management should being more proactive, to inform your customer the check-in information. At least provide a list of information what should we expect and how to find the locations attaching with the map. The owner might need to consider do a detailed of the whole hostel professional cleaning, every each corner of the hostel. Will I come back again? Definitely no, good bye. with this rate and pricing, there's something similar or slightly better hostel than this. I can't take it the underwear hanging at the public toilet area and no one flushing the toilet. :V the loud bang from the upper capsule person created almost gave me a trauma. :V can you imagine that you slept so deeply and someone boomshakalaka you in a sudden midnight 4am? Overall it wasn't super triple horrible, but still there's better choice outside.
