I turned up after two long flights. Finding the hotel was moderately difficult even though I had stayed at the nearby Hampton Inn before. 3Euro60 frpm the schiphol train station.
The check in took abput 15 minutes as the only receptionist dealt with a group who hadnt paid and then were organising payment amongst themselves. I felt in the interim that maybe I could have been checked in during this time, or preferably there should have been an additional receptionist at a busy time, when travellers just want to get to their rooms. I had just arrived from Japan so the contrast in service was notable.
Then on wanting to pay the tourist tax in cash was told they only take cards. Cash is still legal tender and should be treated as such.
The room was pleasantly clean and the bed and shower facilities were fine. The carpet did have a noticeable stain on it.
Breakfast was actually very good with a good selection and the check out girl.was friendly.
Overall 50/50 but would probably not choose again.
