⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wonderful experience staying here. The hostel has a friendly atmosphere, a great location, and easy access to public transportation. Everything was clean and organized, and I always felt comfortable during my stay. I would especially like to thank Lili, who was very kind and helpful. She made me feel welcome and helped make my time in Shanghai even more memorable.

After staying in the first room on the first night, I booked another room in the same hotel for the second night. This room was slightly more expensive (around 10 RMB more) but it had a window facing the road. The room had all the same basic amenities as the first one, including Wi-Fi, slippers, dental kit, shower gel, towels, and a hairdryer. The cleanliness was also just as good. The room was very clean with no dust, and the bathroom was neat and well maintained. Compared with the first room, this one was slightly larger and felt more comfortable mainly because of the window. The window provided natural light and ventilation, which made the room feel much more open and pleasant. Overall, everything I mentioned in my previous review about the hotel—such as the cleanliness, basic amenities, reasonable price, and convenient location—also applies to this room. The only difference is that this room is slightly bigger and has a window, which makes it a bit more comfortable. If you are deciding between the two, paying a little extra for the window room is worth it. It is still very affordable for this location and provides a more comfortable stay. ⸻ 在第一晚入住没有窗户的房间之后，第二晚我仍然选择住在同一家酒店，不过订了一个稍微贵一点的房间（大约贵了10元左右）。这个房间有一扇面向马路的窗户。 这个房间和第一晚的房间一样，配备了所有基本设施，例如 Wi-Fi、拖鞋、牙具、沐浴露、毛巾以及吹风机。房间的卫生状况也同样很好，非常干净，没有灰尘，浴室也整洁干净。 和第一晚的房间相比，这个房间的面积稍微大一点，而且因为有窗户，所以整体感觉更加舒适。窗户带来了自然采光和自然通风，让房间感觉更加通透和舒适。 总体来说，我在之前评价中提到的优点，比如房间干净、设施齐全、价格合理以及位置方便，在这个房间里同样适用。唯一的区别是这个房间稍微大一点，并且有窗户，因此住起来更加舒服。 如果需要在两个房型之间选择，我会建议多花一点点钱选择带窗户的房间。价格依然很实惠，但整体住宿体验会更好。

I met other young people there who are also solo travellers, so this is a good place for young tourists who want to socialise. There is one shared toilet per 6 people, and my toilet was clean. There’s even washing machine and dryers in the corridor. Great place to stay, it’s somewhat near to The Bund and Nanjing street.

Amazing staff, close to the INS club, free water and equipment. The people are so nice here. Can really recommend it!

I like the place♥️, it's right in front of the road. And the bus stop is 3 minutes walk away.🚌 Then the metro 🚇 is very accessible, super close. That's what I liked about the hotel. It's clean. I stayed there in any bed. The girls' toilets and shower area are clean. The lady who cleans every day is helpful and hardworking. The thing is, it's hard in a hotel like yours and there are big kids who weigh more than 20 kilos. It's hard to go up. They don't have an elevator, so I was burdened with my luggage. so far so good .. the staff and the owner they are so friendly and because the transportation area is really very accessible.👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

The location was very convenient. Jing’an Temple was about a 10-minute walk away, and most of the attractions on my list were within a short bike ride. The area was lively, with plenty of shops, cafés, and restaurants nearby. The common area was cozy and comfortable. I especially appreciated the dressing tables and mirrors available for guests. The atmosphere felt calm and welcoming. The staff member at reception was very kind and helpful. She even gave me a small souvenir magnet when I checked in and later helped me fill out my postcards, which I really appreciated. There were, however, a few issues. Reception is only accessible by stairs, with no elevator or luggage assistance, which can be difficult when arriving with a large suitcase. The six-bed dorm felt much more crowded than it should have because it was filled with clothing, suitcases, and other belongings that did not appear to belong to the current guests. It seemed as though items had been left behind and simply accumulated over time. Despite the room being reasonably spacious, the excess storage made it feel cramped and difficult to move around comfortably. The bathroom also raised some safety concerns. There was no bath mat or barrier to keep water contained, and after one guest used the shower, water spread well beyond the bathroom area. I slipped, nearly fell and hit my arm because of it. I was once again surprised to find that there was no full-length mirror. This may seem like a small detail, but having one full-length mirror in a female dormitory or at least in the common area would be very useful. Towels were not provided, which is worth noting for future guests. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and found the hostel comfortable and well located, but there are a few practical issues that could be improved.

I stayed in this hostel in Shanghai for a short time. The location is strong. It is close to Qulu metro station and also near the railway station. You reach many parts of the city fast. This helps a lot if you travel with luggage or move every day. The staff is polite and check in is smooth. The price fits budget travelers and students. The common areas feel social and easy to meet people. The main issue is cleaning. The rooms and bathrooms need better daily cleaning. Some areas feel neglected, especially floors and shared spaces. With improved hygiene, the stay experience would improve a lot.

The place were nice and clean, all the facilities provided were really good and we enjoyed our stay. Close with Nanjing road you can walk and it takes about 10mins only. Very quiet area not crowded. I love it!! would come again next time. Very recommended. Oh!! they also provide keep your luggage safely.

Booked this hotel last minute, cause my favorite hotel is closing down business this month and i wanted something nearer cause I’m well versed with the surrounding areas, 1: the first red flag is the reception, mail and deliveries are all piled up and falling off shelves, it’s so dirty and humid, it looks like a hoarder’s poach, they’re no waiting chairs, so you’ll stand while they process the guests that came before you until it’s your turn !! The receptionists are very nice and helpful . 2; no room housekeeping ( you’ll have to ask for someone to come take the rubbish and give you towels or change your bedding. 3: THE FILTH!!! The filth is on level 1000/100 the grime made it hard for me to shower with my eyes open, I’m not sure if the place has a manager and if they care about the the wellbeing of the clients , because from what i saw, the cleaners don’t even bother, the floor had food stains from i think when they just opened, the sink🤮 the bathroom ( that one corner gave me the hibbigibeis) the toilet seat was broken , everything in the bathroom was broken and dirty , then my charger fell in the space which is between the bathroom glass and the bed, got down to retrieve it and i decided it was best to just a get a new charger instead. The place if cleaned and cared for would be an amazing hotel apartment, it has great amenities , a washing machine a fridge and a drying rack if you upgrade to a bigger room, a kitchenette that would be great if you are interested in cooking and staying longer and it’ has an Aldi downstairs, a gym and lots of other great places surrounding it . I really hope the owners would read this and take it into consideration and carry out serious supervision or else their property will lose value, The hygiene of the hotel does not only ensure the health and wellness of the visitors who sleep in those walls but also keeps the property value up. Dirt And filth only brings it down and puts the health of others at risk . I really hope they change standards.
