Notre premier hôtel en arrivant à Bohol, c'était parfait, à 5-10 minutes d'une plage très tranquille avec peu de gens, des bars et restaurants très sympathiques.
L'hôtel en lui-même est très bien agencé et calme. La piscine est plus petite que ce que nous avions en tête mais elle est très agréable.

My partner and I didn't actually stay at MadMonkey as there were no private rooms available but we did stumble across the hostel when looking for somewhere to eat and ended up spending a fair amount of time here. The food had a great variety and was very fairly priced and it was the only place I managed to get a G&T for less than 200 pesos. We also used the hostel to book some day trips. We did the 4 hour Pangloa Tour which was a great day out and did the countryside tour. Marycris helped us organise the tours and she was an absolute dream! We'd planned to do the tour on the Monday but there was a Typhoon so the trip got cancelled. Marycris messaged me to keep me updated and arranged a tour for us for the Tuesday. She put so much effort in when we weren't even staying there and we ended up having a van to ourselves and we'd fit in everything we wanted to. I can't get over how helpful and accommodating Marycris was, we were only staying in Bohol for a few days and due to Marycris' communitcation, we managed to get in everything we wanted for our holiday.

Any budget, Any person, any circumstance this place can cater to everyone. To the traveller with a bit more to spend getting the higher priced rooms are more than worth each cent. The staff are incredibly helpful and can answer most questions you have about the island in English. No complaints on the home cooked meals just like momma used to make. The bathrooms and rooms are semi comfortable, but very clean. Its location is serene and very close to the pier and city. To the traveller with less money to throw around this is your place. Anyways half the fun here was socializing with fellow people. (Would not reccomend for introverts). But besides all of this. This can easily top premium hotels in terms of bang for buck.

This is definitely a secure hostel with keycard access to its entrance and to your room. Inside the room, there are lockers too but not all of them are usable. The hostel appears to be a conversion of someone's home, so there is a lounge and dining area for meeting other travellers and a really good kitchen. The 8 bed dorms must have been bedrooms with ensuite. However, that's the problem - if the room is fully occupied, then one ensuite (combined shower and toilet) means waiting. I don't mind waiting for s shower (and it has hot water no less), but waiting for the toilet is not fun. The other disadvantage of this hostel is its location - you must walk down to the main road to pick up any tricycle, habal-habal, taxi or jeepney to go to the city or port. There aren't any dining options near the hostel either but they do have groceries you can purchase if you want to do that. The free breakfast is coffee with toast & jam, bananas, nuts, oats and sultanas - you can have as much as you like, then wash up your dishes. The beds are comfy zones with privacy curtain, light, power outlet and 3 hooks for hanging you clothes. The room is of course air conditioned. The staff are lovely and organised a great day tour for me at an excellent price. If it wasn't for the location and shortage of toilets, I'd give this hostel 10/10.

Bohol Ecotel is a budget hotel with a view of Panglao Island (masarap magKape in the room balcony with the view 😉 well recommended). Easy to find and is located by walking distance to the “plaza” center of Tagbiliran. Staff are very friendly and helpful. You can easily check in hassle free. The rooms are clean and just the right size for a guest need. The CR are clean and ok. Plated breakfast is included in any room chosen. Food is ok, has room for additional improvement.., and pricing is just right. They have ample parking area for guest and has nearby sari-sari store for your small needs. The hotel also has different payment options that will cater guests ( just a heads-up that card payment here will have a 3% surcharge, PayMaya option na lang kulang 😊). We are happy with our stay here. Got a family room, with a queen size and a single bed 👍🏼👍🏼 a well recommended Ecotel.

It is well located on the main road where you can find very good restaurants nearby. The room is ok, not to the best comfort but fair for the price, but the AC can be a problem as it is straight facing the bed - we got sick.
We were surprised to not have our own bathroom. Which is a point they should highlight.
However it is pretty clean, despite stains on towels and bed sheets, and internet connexion is good.
Make sure to follow the guide as, as usual - when foreigners- they try to increase their price for airport transfert… which is getting annoying!

PPengguna TetamuThis is a new hotel with only 10 rooms, in a nice quiet back road location. It's about a 10 - 15 minute walk to the local Momo beach and again about a 10 minute tuk-tuk ride or scooter ride to the vibrant and busy tourist area of Alona beach. The whole hotel including the pool and garden area, bar and breakfast area are all spotless. All the staff are very helpful and will do everything they can to ensure your stay is as perfect as it can be. Bar prices by the pool and the minibar in your room are very competitive prices (although NOT all the items in the minibar are priced up) which needs to be sorted. The food menu for lunch and evening meals are restricted but just ask the chef and they will cook exactly what you want if they have it. Lots of items are not listed on the menu so you have to guess at the prices (portion of french fries = 250 PP). The hotel offer free airport pickup and drop off which is a massive help especially when you need to be at the airport by 06.15 in the morning. They have a little scooter for hire which is new and runs perfectly at a very good price. My partner and I stayed here for 10 nights. It was almost perfect! I have to be honest, so, the only downfall (which is not the hotels fault) if you are a light sleeper, like I am, is that some nights the locals enjoy very loud karaoke and music from outside their homes which travels to your room and can go on until quite late and the early morning cockerels and the odd dog barking. All in all, a very relaxing and enjoyable 10 nights.

AAllanMy wife and I recently enjoyed a delightful stay at Katchajo Inn from January 1 to 4, and we found our experience to be quite enjoyable. The inn's proximity to the beach and the center, combined with its charming and clean facilities, made for a pleasant and convenient retreat.
During our stay, we were pleased to find that the service at Katchajo Inn was warm and attentive. The hospitable nature of the staff added a personal touch to our visit, making us feel welcome and well taken care of throughout our time at the inn.
The availability of free Wi-Fi was a convenient feature, allowing us to stay connected and make the most of our time in the area. Additionally, the presence of a mini-swimming pool provided a refreshing option for relaxation, adding to the overall appeal of the inn.
While the food was satisfactory, it was the inn's cleanliness and charming atmosphere that left a lasting impression. The reasonable pricing, in combination with the clean and cute ambiance, made for a comfortable and pleasant stay.
One minor area for improvement would be the towels, which, while clean, showed signs of aging. However, this was a small detail in an otherwise enjoyable experience.
In conclusion, Katchajo Inn provided a welcoming and convenient base for our beachside getaway. With its clean and charming accommodations, hospitable service, and added amenities such as free Wi-Fi and a mini-swimming pool, we found it to be a delightful choice for couples seeking a relaxing and well-located retreat. We would recommend Katchajo Inn to others looking for a cozy and convenient stay near the beach.

CCraigIsAwaySimple, but decent rooms. If your room faces the front, you get road noice. If your room faces the water, you get rooster noise. There's a library where you can sit and wait before check-in or after check-out. Great location for walking to/from the ferries. There are also restaurants across the road and a bunch of shops and stalls near the port. When I discovered that my ferry was cancelled, it was so good just having a short walk back to the hotel. Their walk-up rates are higher than online, so you can just use their wifi to book online at a lower price. Worst aspect is breakfast. It's bland and not kept hot. Worse, they have Fox News blaring on the TV. No Americans at breakfast, yet we get subjected to an American fake news network. Half the time it's telling us the weather in the USA, over 10,000 km away. Knowing the weather in the Philippines would be much more useful, especially on a day when the ferries have been cancelled due to the high seas.

The beds where really good, AC was quite so I could run it all night long. The breakfast opened 6.30 AM but we had booked an excursion with a pick up at 6.30 AM. This was not a problem as the hotel gave us breakfast at 6 AM. What a treat!! Beach towels were provided upon request, which was really appreciated. Furthermore a water fountain could be found in the reception area providing driking water, very good service. I really recommend this hotel. Very good value for the money.

Mmarifedeerio34Affordable Accommodation for everything you need. If your a budget traveler looking for a long term stay, this is the place for you. They also accept short term stays at very cheap prices. I am really glad they have a stove and a mini kitchen so I can save money and cook my own food. A nearby grocery called Sean Sean and a market is nearby. Living a simple life in an island paradise can be found in Gaeas. Keep up!

В номере есть чайник, чашки, тарелки, нам еще дали кофе и чай в пакетиках, две маленьких бутылки воды. Администратор постоянно отсутствует на ресепшн. Мы хотели с утра позавтракать, но все кафе утром закрыты. Даже не нашли где у них можно воды купить. Большая территория отеля, но ничего не понятно, нет табличек
