Hotel berhampiran Da Ai Farm, Hualien

The service review is specifically for the front desk. The front desk was fully staffed at the time of check in with the manager assisting and we still weren’t acknowledged when we were next in line. They weren’t assisting other guest but just kept typing on their computers and shuffling papers around. On a different occasion, the front desk gal was trying to multitask instead of giving me her full attention and addressing all my concerns. I felt like I was bothering her 😐 Everyone else was very friendly and always greeted and thanked us in passing or made nice comments 👍🏼

Stayed one night, booked the package including access to marine park with breakfast. Arrived at 1330 and took the last free bus iMR 1400 to the marine park and spent a few hours watching the sea lion and dolphins. Back to the hotel to the room with fantastic with sea views. Hotel is huge, outdoor swimming pool was closed but great space to walk around and admire the sunset over the sea or back towards the mountains and Hualien city. Good buffet breakfast, busy but well organised - would definitely recommend for families with children.

In my opinion, Parkview Hotel is one of the nicest hotel for families in Hualien. The deluxe family room we booked has 2 queen beds and very spacious. The breakfast buffet is nice, with a good collection of traditional ********* congee breakfast and international selection such as omelette station, salad, etc. There is a dedicated indoor haven for children with all sorts of games from go cart, different kinds of video games, etc. There's indoor pool, gym, pool table, etc for adults. There's also a coin operated laundry machine and dryer.

It's really good value for money n it has got the certified hot spring by govt. right in city.

We stayed here while playing in the Magistrate's Cup slow pitch softball tournament. The rooms are small but meet the basic needs. The word resort doesnt have the same meaning as it used to.

Kebersihan hotel sangat baik, sikap kakitangan juga baik, sarapan pagi yang lazat, terdapat pelbagai pilihan dan pengangkutan yang mudah Ia juga mudah untuk tempat letak kereta. Pasar malam hanya berdekatan. Terdapat 7-11 di tingkat bawah, jadi ia adalah pilihan yang bagus!

Location- near to Hualien station about 5-8mins walk. U won’t miss the hotel as it is painted a bright yellow. You can spot it from far! Food- Complimentary ice cream, coffee and juices are avail 24hrs. Snacks - crackers, tea jelly are avail from 3-8pm. Breakfast and supper are complimentary. Now this is really unexpected. Breakfast consists of meat, vegs, eggs. Chinese, western and veg options. Supper is lighter eg porridge rice curry potato and eggs vegs. Cocktail is avail and yes, complimentary too. Also fruits. Service- I was at first skeptical. To name a Hotel kindness will imply the hotel embraces the kindness value. True to its name, staff are polite and kind and goes out to help guests. U don’t need a password to log into wifi, I haven’t been to a hotel with complimentary breakfast and supper. I was suprised that the hotel is painted bright yellow and I realise it helps guests to locate the hotel as all other buildings are all grey and black and the yellow really lights up the area. I find it a thoughtful gesture. Room- Room is big. They gave me two queen size bed for three pax. There is also a bathtub. Amenities are provided. Oh yes, complimentary laundry service with washing powder provider. Now isn’t this thoughtful and kind and really take care of the guests esp those traveling with kids. Water refill is available at each floor next to the lift. Would definitely stay in the hotel if I go to Hualien again and yes, would love to stay in kindness hotel in different parts of Taipei too! Location - Hotel was a bit far from the train station (as expected) but also a short walk to nearby bus stations (not expected) about 7-10 mins depending on which bus you took to get to the bus/train station. Room - There are three separate buildings you can live in. I was in building 3 and my room looked a little old. The air con wasn't working, I had to turn it off because the heat button didn't work at all. The bathroom tub/shower area had some mold spots but otherwise it was clean. Bedding and linens were soft and clean. Lightening was very bad, basically only 4 tiny overhead lights and 1 desk lamp. Amenities - mini fridge was handy, so was the kettle. Service - staff was nice and helpful at checkin / checkout. Overall I'm surprised it's a Ramada. I don't think I would stay again but for the price it is acceptable for a night.

The room is huge, with everything you need. There are quite a few good restaurants nearby, and the host shows us all the amenities including the drinking fountain and coffee machine. There is a big dining area on the ground floor, with cute decorations. I would definitely stay here again!

Booked 1 night with breakfast. Opposite hotel has a convenient stall. Night market is few mins drive away. Opposite also has a really nice fried chicken shop. Breakfast spread is fine. Bed seems small for a double.
