Good location and good price, but thin mattress with small bathroom, no proper kitchen or public lounge area, it’s good for budget travelers who only stay for a few days. Very convenient location near to the beach and night market.

It was easy check-in. If you stay in the tent room, it's good for short stays (1-2nights), especially for cyclists, you can bring your bicycle indoors. However though, the sockets are not by the tent, so you can't charge your phone by the bed. Also, the floor makes loud noises in the inner part of the room. So, it can get a little annoying, be sure to bring your eye masks and ear plugs. The sink in the toilet is really really tiny, not very easy or nice to use even for a petite person like me. But for the price, I guess it was alright. There are only two shared shower rooms (inc. toilet), shampoo and shower gel are provided. I think the place is pretty clean overall, and there's curtains in the tent, so it offers pretty good privacy.

I visited first time and love this town.

That was a good place to stay for a solo traveler, it was in the hualien city.

The boss is nice and the price is the best on the city, matress a little thin but not bad at all. I would come back

I picked this place because I liked the idea of indoor camping and the cheap price really made it even more attractive. I had a good time there and felt nostalgic. The room with the tents is simple but clean and tidy and the bathroom is functional and clean. It's no luxurious bathroom but it gets the job done, especially if not all tents are rented out. The sleep is very comfortable for a tent but don't expect a thick mattress. The checkin instructions worried me a but because they said to call the owner. Given that I only have mobile data and no number I sent an email and the owners responded super nicely and quickly. Upon arriving at the hostel, I saw that the line ID and all contact details are written on a wall outside, so my worries were baseless. You will be fine. Overall a great stay for a cheap price. Thank you!

Does what it needs to do. Would not recommend staying for more than 1 or 2 nights

You get what you get paid for. The tent in the room for me was a really good idea, I really wanted to try. It was comfy, there was some air mattress and air pillow in it with the sheet. There is water, coffee (3in1), ac. Minus is one bathroom for 8 tents, so if it’s full room, it could be crowded. Overall, good experience

Very friendly owner at the hostel. The place and very nice and clean. Hostel is located not too far away from the local famous night market.

Clean, easy, friendly staff. Slept in the tent, all smooth. Cheapest price in the city.

They made me check in very late here which I guess is normal for ****** but can be a pain if you want to come back late. Otherwise the room was clean and I had it to myself.

There is a cafe on the first floor, it is very convenient to eat. The boss is very talkative😆😆

Stayed on 5/3-5/4 The B&B is very close to Dongdamen Night Market (about 7 minutes walk) There is also a contracted parking lot opposite the B&B for convenient parking This will be my first choice for Hualien travel in the future~

This is a repeat guest for a female solo traveler. I was lucky because I was the only one staying there on a weekday. It was clean, well-equipped, and reasonably priced, so I was very satisfied. I was able to enjoy local cuisine with the money I saved. There was also a washing machine on the first floor, which was very convenient.
