JiangYuan Heritage Boutique Hotel

A charming stay in the heart of Tunxi, Huangshan. The building retains its authentic character with wooden beams, stone courtyards, and elegant details while offering modern comfort. Room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and very clean. Amenities is superb. Breakfast is good. Not buffet style Excellent location. A short walk to Tunxi Old Street, making it easy to explore local shops, tea houses, and restaurants. Staff’s are warm, attentive, and always ready to help with recommendations for food or travel arrangements.

To our surprise, first i need to say its not that difficult to go to this accomodation, but we need to stop at the road side to load off for a few minutes. We contacted the staff beforehand and when we arrived. They came to help with our luggage and took us to the hotel. You have to come here to feel the accommodation yourself. Its fabolous. Its not ur usual type of hotel. The rooms are all very modern. dont worry at all, they provide everything we need, modern toilet and shower area. Rooms were very clean. Location of the accommodation is just in the old pedestrian street. Very good location. Breakfast option were main food is porridge or Huntun (like Wonton or dumpling) and the rest side dishes were all same. The food were quite nice. Simple healthy food. I cant stress enough how accommodative their staffs. They were so welcoming, very friendly, and mostly they were very polite. Wish i will come back again for my trip to Mount Huangshan.

I am so glad I booked this hotel. The hotel is so beautiful! It is an old ancient house refurbished with modern amenities. But take note that there is no elevator, so any mobility issue guest should book the first floor rooms. The service staff, Sisi, is so kind and helpful. We got a resort like service from a small boutique hotel. We are so grateful. The hotel also provided pick up from Railway station, which allowed us to be linked up with the local drivers. The breakfast provided is also a great spread of carb, protein, and fiber. I wish I could come back again and again.

The hotel has a service to pick up guests from the train station. Driver Song was professional in his communication and arrived on time. He was easy to communicate with using translation apps. He drove us safely to the hotel where they met us with umbrellas to escort us down the small alleyway that led to the hotel. It is in a beautiful heritage building renovated. The concierge service is exceptional. They gave us restaurant recommendations, tips and weather forecast via WeChat message. We chose our breakfast and it was served to us on time and it was very yummy. They even gave us a room upgrade to a room that had a bathtub. This was very kind and a lovely present for my birthday.

We loved the hotel and the service. We were picked up from the train station and taken to the hotel. The hotel is beautifully located, and the interior is wonderful.

My wife and I had a wonderful and memorable stay at Jiang Yuan and wished I had stayed a day or two longer. We appreciated the care and love that went to the restoration and upkeep of the heritage building. It was not lost on us that the owner is also the descendent. We learnt so much about the building and it's architecture from the staff and a kind gentleman who is a regular. The staff was helpful and professional. The breakfast was great. The location is unbeatabke as it is at the heart of the 老街.
