Highly, highly recommend! This is by far the best hotel I've ever stayed in, not just for its thoughtful service, but also for its proactive and highly professional, personalized approach. The hotel's location is exceptional, very close to Bright Summit and prime spots for sunrise and sunset viewing, and it's on the main route to other popular attractions. The hotel facilities are quite comprehensive, specifically catering to hikers. Plus, they offer free Hanfu (traditional Chinese clothing) for guests to wear for photos. They also provide complimentary down jackets for use in the guest rooms. The service, though, is what truly stands out—it's incredibly attentive! And all the services are proactively offered, anticipating guests' needs, which completely redefined my understanding of hotel room service. We were able to check in several hours early, saving us from lugging our luggage up the mountain. They also gave us very clear recommendations for our Huangshan itinerary! Seeing an extra child in our room, they proactively brought extra toiletries. They also reminded us multiple times about sunset times, etc. After we finished exploring for the day and returned to the hotel... that's when the real magic happened—this service truly exceeded my expectations. First, we were invited to watch a performance arranged by the hotel, then offered orange juice, followed by foot soak packets delivered to our room, and even a 20-minute free massage chair session. Isn't this exactly what we needed after a full day of strenuous hiking? A little while later, presumably after we finished our foot soaks, fresh fruit was delivered directly to our door! Did we think it was over? No, local specialty snacks were also brought to us! The next day, even after we had checked out and were about to leave, they offered milk tea and bottled water, all to keep us hydrated during our climb. This service is truly incredibly thoughtful. The key is that all of this was proactively offered by them. Before staying at this Baiyun Hotel, I honestly had no idea service could be this good! It's absolutely amazing! Huangshan is beautiful, and I'll definitely be back, and I'll be staying here again next time.

The Xihai Hotel is located near the Xihai Grand Canyon, about an hour's walk from the Yungu cable car, with not too many steps. We saw many porters along the way, who work incredibly hard, so we understand the slightly higher room rates. The rooms are quite compact; the beds are not much bigger than those in university dorms, everything is miniature-sized 🤣. However, I must praise the excellent service. The staff were warm and attentive, and the front desk even offered comforting ginger tea, which was a thoughtful touch in the sub-zero temperatures. We also received a complimentary souvenir, which we would have happily taken if we weren't already heavily burdened from hiking down the mountain! I particularly enjoyed the 7:30 PM lobby performance; it was creative and considerate, with almost everyone getting a small stool to sit on. The Cloud Foot Massage within the hotel seemed effective, aside from the price! The breakfast buffet offered a good variety, with many items I enjoyed. The black tea and coffee were average; the black tea was milder than the local Qimen black tea from Huangshan but still pleasantly warming.

My child had been looking forward to our trip to Huangshan for a long time, and it ended perfectly. The weather was truly amazing these past two days, nothing but sunshine. I booked a hotel on the mountain early on, planning to stay there on Friday night. I learned that Beihai Hotel was newly renovated, with excellent facilities, and it's right next to the 'Pen of Inspiration' scenic spot, so I booked Beihai Hotel. We arrived at the hotel around 10 AM on Friday. Since the room wasn't ready yet, we stored our luggage at the front desk and set off to explore Huangshan with just our essentials. At that time, I added Xin Yu, our hotel concierge, on WeChat. Xin Yu sent us a lot of very useful information about the sunrise and sunset in the scenic area, as well as hotel details, which I really appreciated. After finishing our hike through the West Sea Grand Canyon, we checked in around 5 PM. The room was very clean and cozy. There were two down jackets provided in the room for guests watching the sunrise. Since I had a child with me, I specifically asked concierge Xin Yu for an additional one. Xin Yu was patient and friendly, handling my request promptly, and the down jacket was delivered to our room very quickly. Our stay was quite comfortable, and breakfast was also very good. Overall, Beihai Hotel is definitely worth a stay.

Beautiful hotel and amazing service Service is top notch - from the morning even before we checked in, they helped plan our entire route on the mountain, and made sure we were taken care of the entire way - giving us ponchos in case it rained, checking us in early to wash up before another big hike etc. The leg massager is clutch and they'll also prepare a foot bath for you at the end of the day. Room is comfortable and what sets this place apart is the tranquility of the entire complex. The location is quite good too - a decent walk 30 minutes away from the Yunggu cable car, which gives you an ”easier out” if you want to exit the mountain without having to hike too much. It's also a short 10-15 minute walk to a great lookout for the sunrise. Food was excellent, balanced and well worth the price, especially considering you're at the top of a mountain. Would definitely recommend and would stay again if we came back!

Room is cozy with everything you need. Better to stay overnight in mountain if affordable. Two days one night is a better itinerary for the tough walking trails. The room price is 3-4 times higher than the foot of the mountain. Good breakfast with reasonable spread of food. Near the sunrise spot. We started from Yungu cableway at 7am on day one, travel around the area and checked in the hotel. We woke up for the sunrise at 4:30 am. After breakfast and shower, we started our day two… quite tough for people not used to walk for a day ＞10 km with thousands of stairways…. 😅 we went down Yuping cableway around 4pm. We cover all the HungShan highlighted spots and very happy due to low peak travel season in China, less crowds. 😎

This is by far the most satisfying hotel I've ever stayed at. **Facilities:** The most remarkable feature is the hotel's powerful ventilation system. While other facilities were also excellent (and expected given the price point), even in our relatively compact room, after my kids enjoyed instant noodles and a hot pot, and all four of us dried our rain-soaked shoes, there was absolutely no lingering odor. **Service:** I truly appreciated the warm, yet professional service from every single staff member. The laundry and drying service, in particular, was a lifesaver in Huangshan's unpredictable weather, making it incredibly valuable. The hotel package also included mountain entrance and cable car tickets, which, despite the slightly higher price, made the overall stay feel like excellent value considering these bundled services. When we ordered wine, the server thoughtfully brought complimentary snacks. If there was one minor imperfection, it would be that some of the power outlets in the room were a bit loose, causing plugs to sometimes wiggle.

The room was very clean and comfortable, and the hotel's location is excellent, quite close to Monkey Watching the Sea. The best part, however, was the hotel's service. It felt very personalized, like having a butler. They not only gave detailed introductions to tourist routes but also took us to watch the sunrise. I've stayed on the mountain twice, and the service at Shilin Hotel was superior, as was the breakfast, which was very rich.

As a senior citizen, I took the Yungu cable car up Huangshan Mountain in the morning, then traversed through Shixin Peak, Ring One, and Ring Two to the Xihai Grand Canyon, before taking the mini-train up the mountain. After a strenuous climb, I finally reached Bright Summit Hotel to check in. To my absolute delight, I was upgraded from a corridor-facing room to a spacious room with two-sided views! I was absolutely overjoyed, beaming with happiness! What made it even better was the clear, sunny weather. The sunset could be enjoyed directly from the hotel's large viewing platform, and for sunrise, we only needed to walk about 50 meters. This setup was absolutely perfect for us seniors! The hotel breakfast was also very generous, offering milk and yogurt, and the fried rice was particularly delicious! On the second day, upon check-out, they even gave us candy and mineral water. Such a thoughtful gesture!

The living environment was exceptionally good, and all the staff were very enthusiastic. Our butler, a really nice guy, even sent us a travel guide and got us a free, no-reservation pass for Tiandu Peak the next day. They also upgraded us to a room with a view, free of charge! The best part was that I left my spare camera phone at the hotel and only realized it the next day. The hotel and the butler had thoughtfully kept it safe for me. Excellent, excellent! The dinner buffet at Yuping Tower was also delicious with a wide variety of choices. Breakfast was great too. I'll definitely stay here again next time I climb Huangshan.
