If you are planning your trip to the magnificent Huangshan Mountains, be sure to stay at this hotel for a few days. I have traveled quite a lot in China and have a lot to compare with. I give this guesthouse the very, very highest rating.The owners of the hotel are lovely and wonderful people.
I felt willingness to help and responsiveness in every minute of my stay. The hotel is in a perfect and peaceful location where you can relax after hiking in the mountains. The hotel hosts drove me to the south gate of the park and also took me back after the mountain hike was over. They also offered rain gear. That was a very nice thing to do. The hotel building itself is very modern and beautiful and the room was perfectly clean. The hotel also has a terrace with an amazing view. There is a store and a restaurant with delicious food on the first floor of the hotel. I was left with the most pleasant impressions. Thank you, hosts.

We were a group of 8 people and had an unforgettable stay here. The hotel owner is one of the kindest and most helpful people we’ve ever met. From the moment we arrived, he welcomed us warmly, gave us great local recommendations, and even personally drove us to each destination!
On the day we went hiking in the mountains, he provided us with free walking sticks. He helped us with everything — arranging transfers, buying entrance tickets, and planning the route. He also allowed us to check in early and check out late, which was incredibly convenient.
I shared room 8303 with my friend. The room is designed for two people and had two separate beds, both very comfortable to sleep in. There was also an air conditioner in the room, which made our stay even more pleasant.
Another thing we’re super grateful for — the owner kindly let us do laundry. After hiking in the mountains, our clothes definitely needed it!
The view from the window was absolutely stunning. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, full of natural light, and have plenty of power outlets. The showers were great, with clean water and convenient showerheads. There were all the necessary toiletries: body soap, shampoo — we recommend bringing your own conditioner if needed.
The hotel can also prepare food for guests. We really enjoyed the tomato and egg noodles — delicious and homey.
There’s also a local café nearby where we had breakfast a few times.
The hotel is located in the mountains, perfectly positioned for visiting nearby attractions, waterfalls, hiking spots, and even riding quad bikes.
A tip: bring a good quality raincoat if you’re visiting during rainy weather!
The owner speaks basic English, and even though it wasn’t easy for him, he patiently explained everything to us in English with so much kindness and care. He truly went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable — even helped us search for a lost phone in the mountains!
He also called us in advance before our arrival to confirm our plans and helped arrange a transfer to the train station after check-out.
We wish him and his family good health, happiness, and prosperity. He and this hotel deserve not just 5 stars, but 1000! Wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

GGuest UserShuishongshi Shanfang Hotel is a unique hotel with a strong artistic flair. Our room offered stunning mountain views the moment we opened the door, and at night, we could hear the gentle murmur of the stream. The young lady at the front desk who assisted us was incredibly kind and helpful; she planned a perfect hiking route tailored to our fitness level, which really compensated for the hotel not being situated at the very peak. As we set off for our hike, she even thoughtfully provided us with hiking poles. The driver who handled our transfers was also superb, ensuring seamless connections from the hotel to the trailhead. On our second day, when they helped us transport our luggage out of the mountain area, the hotel thoughtfully prepared bottled water and a lovely farewell gift.

GGuest UserThe location couldn't be better – just a few minutes' walk from the main entrance of Huangshan Mountain. The owner was incredibly welcoming and the place itself had a lovely atmosphere. They went above and beyond, thoughtfully helping us plan our routes and even lending us trekking poles. We were so grateful for their hospitality and will absolutely be back on our next trip!

We chose the Qingyin Caolu B&B, which is located in a quiet area amidst the hustle and bustle of the city. It only takes 2 minutes to walk into the alley from the big tree at the entrance of the village. My kid and I stayed in Yuese Xishi room, which had a big bed and a big window. The weather was fine and the view from the window was stunning.

BBingyuxingchenHighly, highly recommend! This is by far the best hotel I've ever stayed in, not just for its thoughtful service, but also for its proactive and highly professional, personalized approach.
The hotel's location is exceptional, very close to Bright Summit and prime spots for sunrise and sunset viewing, and it's on the main route to other popular attractions. The hotel facilities are quite comprehensive, specifically catering to hikers. Plus, they offer free Hanfu (traditional Chinese clothing) for guests to wear for photos. They also provide complimentary down jackets for use in the guest rooms.
The service, though, is what truly stands out—it's incredibly attentive! And all the services are proactively offered, anticipating guests' needs, which completely redefined my understanding of hotel room service. We were able to check in several hours early, saving us from lugging our luggage up the mountain. They also gave us very clear recommendations for our Huangshan itinerary! Seeing an extra child in our room, they proactively brought extra toiletries. They also reminded us multiple times about sunset times, etc. After we finished exploring for the day and returned to the hotel... that's when the real magic happened—this service truly exceeded my expectations. First, we were invited to watch a performance arranged by the hotel, then offered orange juice, followed by foot soak packets delivered to our room, and even a 20-minute free massage chair session. Isn't this exactly what we needed after a full day of strenuous hiking? A little while later, presumably after we finished our foot soaks, fresh fruit was delivered directly to our door! Did we think it was over? No, local specialty snacks were also brought to us! The next day, even after we had checked out and were about to leave, they offered milk tea and bottled water, all to keep us hydrated during our climb. This service is truly incredibly thoughtful. The key is that all of this was proactively offered by them. Before staying at this Baiyun Hotel, I honestly had no idea service could be this good! It's absolutely amazing! Huangshan is beautiful, and I'll definitely be back, and I'll be staying here again next time.

GGuest UserHongcun Yushan mountain scenery house is convenienly located near the South Gate of Hongcun Scenic area. We booked courtyard B which is located outside and behind the main hotel complex with breakfast included. The room was spacious, tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable, and had a small courtyard, but unfortunately no garden chairs or table to sit outside. In hindsight we woud book another room in the main complex next time. It has a lovely open garden and plenty of outdoor seating. I contacted the hotel before our stay and managed by using a voice translator to connect with the staff on Wechat. A friendly staff member met us at the entrance to the scenic area and entry is free of charge when you stay at the hotel. The hotel staff don't speak any English, but they were very helpful and friendly and we got along fine using Wechat and other translators. I won't recommend eating dinner at the hotel as there are many local Chinese restaurants in the ancient village. The hotel offers a coffee shop in the lobby and has a number of options, like Americano, Latte etc. The coffee is very good, but I felt it was a bit pricey for the cup size. The hotel breakfast is Chinese with no Western options, and it is served in unique way in a tray. I enjoyed the breakfast, but my husband would have liked more western options. On our arrival the room was already pre-heated and the beds in the room were comfortable. It was snowing lightly when we arrived and there were umbrellas available in the room. They also provide vanity items. We visited just before the Chinese New Year tourist rush at the beginning of the holiday and this was a very good location and time to visit despite the cold weather. The ancient village was not too crowded and it was nice to walk around in the evenings and daytime with the hotel is situated conveniently right next to the South lake. Drone flying is allowed which can give drone flyers an aerial view of the village. Depending on your iterinary a one night stay is sufficient to visit Hongcun and the nearby Xidi ancient village then move on to another hotel at the foot or top of the mountain or Tunxi village. We enjoyed our stay and can recommend this hotel to travelers wanting a good hotel experience in Hongcun.

KKongxinerThis truly lives up to its reputation as the most design-forward hotel I've stayed in. The way the spaces are isolated from each other is completely unique from other hotels; each area feels entirely separate and undisturbed, almost like being at home. It's clean and bright, and the bathtub is fantastic – a soak after hiking Mount Huangshan was incredibly relaxing. It's also very close to the South Gate of Mount Huangshan, with many restaurants nearby, and the hotel offers a shuttle service.

XXiaoxi98The Xihai Hotel is located near the Xihai Grand Canyon, about an hour's walk from the Yungu cable car, with not too many steps. We saw many porters along the way, who work incredibly hard, so we understand the slightly higher room rates. The rooms are quite compact; the beds are not much bigger than those in university dorms, everything is miniature-sized 🤣. However, I must praise the excellent service. The staff were warm and attentive, and the front desk even offered comforting ginger tea, which was a thoughtful touch in the sub-zero temperatures. We also received a complimentary souvenir, which we would have happily taken if we weren't already heavily burdened from hiking down the mountain! I particularly enjoyed the 7:30 PM lobby performance; it was creative and considerate, with almost everyone getting a small stool to sit on. The Cloud Foot Massage within the hotel seemed effective, aside from the price! The breakfast buffet offered a good variety, with many items I enjoyed. The black tea and coffee were average; the black tea was milder than the local Qimen black tea from Huangshan but still pleasantly warming.

MM485235****Facilities: The smart home system is incredibly convenient. The bathrooms are very clean and new, with a wet/dry separation, which perfectly solves the problem of not being able to shower and use the toilet simultaneously when traveling with friends. There's also a designated vanity area with a large counter, absolutely perfect for several girls to do their makeup together.
Cleanliness: The room was spotlessly clean. I can genuinely say that getting such a great hotel for this price is an absolute steal.
Environment: This is my favorite hotel I've ever stayed in. It has a laundry room, foot spa, supermarket, and even robot room service. On the first floor, you can enjoy local Anhui cuisine with a discount, and they'll even deliver it right up to your room. You just order in your room, and soon enough, hot food from downstairs arrives.
Service: From booking to checking out, the entire experience felt incredibly personal. The front desk staff were wonderful, unlike the robotic, 'just doing their job' vibe you often get at other hotels. After hiking Huangshan, I booked this hotel and contacted the front desk to arrange a car to pick us up from the Huangshan South Transfer Center. In less than ten minutes, the hotel car arrived. Later, during check-in downstairs, they gave us a souvenir and some tea. The front desk service was superb, and overall, the shuttle service and all our needs were met.
If I come to Huangshan again, I will definitely stay here. Most importantly, I will enthusiastically recommend this hotel to all my friends. It's truly affordable with excellent service, satisfying even someone with high demands like me.

There is no elevator in the B&B. The owner is very enthusiastic to help us move our luggage. The service is super good!
The owner is very nice. The driver of the carpool from Hongcun to Tangkou did not send us to the door of the B&B. The owner came to pick us up. He also sent us to the entrance of Huangshan at 5 o'clock the next day. The boss really worked hard. The driver from Huangshan to the high-speed rail station was also contacted by the boss. He is really responsible
We had dinner at the B&B. All five dishes were delicious and the price was very affordable. I was very satisfied
