This hotel and it's neighbour are in the midst of being renovated. The rates are good and the rooms are very comfy. Hopefully, they'll keep the rates at the lower end when they get the improvements finished.

Name changes are a little confusing. The Quality Inn is now The Comfort Suites and at virtually the same address is The Rodeway inn which is now The Quality Inn and Suites. check in for both is currently at the newly named Comfort Suites, Both hotels from my past experience are vastly different in quality. Both Hotels have signage and websites still indicating their old names Both hotels are undergoing renovations or have done upgrades. The Comfort Suites has large modern clean spacious rooms and comfortable beds. if you pay a little extra you can get a room with views of the Idaho Falls. However, this was marred by the balcony not being very clean and the windows that were very dirty. The access doors to the balcony was very difficult to open. Another small item was that there was no toilet roll dispenser/holder in the bathroom. Breakfast supplied was of a reasonable quality. The staff (understaffed) were friendly and helpfu.l

The place felt either quite new or renovated. It was one of the nicest Residence Inn properties I've ever stayed at. The room had a full kitchen and although we were only there one night, I would have stayed here longer next time. Plenty of space, nice bedrooms, bathrooms had exhaust fans, and there was a nice view of the park. Downside is that you could hear a lot of traffic noise and the train tracks. Normally, I hate being near a train track but the location was not bad. Train tracks tend to attract hobos but fortunately, didn't see more than a typical amount. Staff at hotel was friendly and the complimentary breakfast was adequate. All things being equal, it was a good value and way above my expectations!

This hotel is well thought out and is definitely worth what it costs. Smaller rooms but everything is useful, and up to date. Comfy beds, great bathroom, large tv, and lots of extras by the lobby (24/7 coffee, pool table, games, fitness room, pool, and hot tub). I’d stay here again.

My Hisband and I really enjoyed are stay. The only thing we didn't like was the beds it was like sleeping on jello. Definitely need to up grade on the beds. But other then that we had a great time. The Restaurant called Obradys was really good even went back for breakfast..

Since we were traveling in the winter and on a weekday, suites were very reasonably priced. So we got a one bedroom king suite with a fireplace. It was absolutely beautiful and quite comfortable. The “continental” breakfast offered premade hot cheese omelettes, sausage patties and biscuits/gravy in addition to the normal cereals, hard-boiled eggs, yogurts, pancakes, etc. Quite satisfying.

Very clean and comfortable. AND, this Comfort Inn’s customer service is STERLING! Toni at the Front Desk went above and beyond to assist us when our prepaid third party booking site bungled our reservation. Toni and the General Manager, Tiffine, worked together for almost an hour with the third party booking to get our reservation confirmed. They were both extremely helpful, and we genuinely appreciate their dedication and customer service. We will definitely be staying at Comfort Inn, Idaho Falls, ID again!

The Candlewood Suites were a nice pit stop on our way back from Yellowstone NP. Amenities that others have noted inside the rooms and building are all well-maintained and COVID-clean. Our room had a view of the river (see photo) but it's not that special of a view given that you're staring at an industrial area and the evening we were there a bit of police activity was going on across the river. But with the smoky haze from the forest fires further west coloring the sky it was a very colorful sunset. Check-in/check-out went very smoothly. Parking is ample. The property itself is about a couple miles from the falls area and the freeway. Only one real issue and, hopefully, this gets someone's attention. During our stay we were walking near the lobby area and it appeared that a staff meeting was going on at that time. The individual running the meeting was being somewhat inappropriate with the staff, berating and being quite critical about a number of issues. Such conduct should NEVER be conducted in full public view (IMHO as a manager of 30+ years) and I'm surprised the staff puts up with it or ownership condones it. This was a real mood killer for my wife and I. Staff meetings should be conducted in a meeting room out of earshot of guests, period. Except for the above, this is a really nice property.
