I visited here with 3 of my foerighner family. Though resort is great but the service standard are not acceptable. For example, when I ordered chargable coffee to my room, I got replied they they will not deliver to my room.. I then called reception and then they helped to get the coffee into my room. Again when I tried to palce chargable dinner to my room, again they said they will not serve in the room and I have to go to restaurant..! This is absolutely not acceptable norms for a premium resort like this. Again I called reception and they helped to get my dinner delivered into my room. I and my guests are highly disappointed with very unprofessional approach of dinneing team of The Elephant. We found lack of hospitality and culture to match high levl of resort.

Sheets weren't as clean as we expected for a 5 star hotel. The food quality was good, some variety with live stations would be better. We accidentally broke a glass in the room, but were charged for it. This was borderline ridiculous. Accidents happen, and despite staying 5 nights, they should have just let this charge go.

Nice Hotel on top of the mountain, teasty food and a lot of options for vegs as well as non vegs. The staff were cooperative and deserve mantion for their genuine hospitality and professionaliam . So many activities which the property provide from the Property itself. Large play area for the kids and a mini gym,the infinity pool is amazing the view is just wow. Would love to come back again.

First time in munner. Munner is indeed beautiful 👌👍we stay at Elephant Passege Resort for two night me and my wife we had a good time 👍we enjoyed the property and the view from the pool is just mesmerizing👍👍 would recommended our firends anf families who ever plan to visit munner.

Had a good experience.Love the stay ,love the food and the location.The location is at it's best, surrounded by nature and the greenary.The room were cozy wit forest and greenery view. The hospitality was different we feel like we are home the staffs were too helpful and friendly and have all knowledge about the locality. Coming back again next year😁😄😃Team Elephant Passage. We are from Kolkata it was our first time in Kerala, Munnar.we love the property the people the employee are the best 👍they are already ready to help making sure we had a comfortable stay.Indeed it was a great stay we love the food it was delicious,the service was excellent 👌👌👌 couldn't be any better.The location is excellent but the way to the Resort could be better.

I had an absolutely lovely time here and was a bit sad to leave! Every member of staff was very friendly and helpful, and made me feel at home, especially the restaurant team who remembered me each day and checked up on me when I missed a breakfast! Food was lovely, and the surroundings are beautiful... On top of a mountain with views in every direction. There is a nice little paved walk with some benches to sit and read while admiring the view. As some other reviewers have mentioned - the location is quite remote. You would need a car or taxi everyday to leave the grounds, there is no where walkable, and the narrow road leading up to the resort is very steep.

I recently stayed at this hotel, lured in by their false advertising of being a 5-star establishment. Let me be clear: this is far from it. Our experience from start to finish was a nightmare, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. 1. Room Issues: When we checked in, the receptionist gave us a room despite another staff member warning her in Malayalam (assuming we didn’t understand) that the door to that room wasn’t working. True to their word, the door didn’t work. The day we checked in was wasted in a back-and-forth circus between our room and reception as the door wouldn’t open or close properly. Each time, staff would accompany us, struggle with the door until it finally worked, and then just leave us to deal with it when the issue repeated. Eventually, the problem was escalated to the manager, and by then, someone was already attempting to repair the door. The manager himself struggled to open and close it, finally managing after several attempts, only to hand me the key and rudely imply that I was the problem. His condescending tone was shocking and unprofessional. 2. Spa and Hygiene Issues: The spa was a major letdown. The washroom smelled horrible, and the massage therapist coughed on me throughout the session. It felt unhygienic, unpleasant, and far from the relaxing experience one expects in a 5-star hotel. And yes, the pool is NOT heated 3. Overall Service: Complaints about these issues were met with indifference. No compensation, no meaningful apology—just dismissiveness. Final Verdict: This hotel isn’t worth the money. For the same price, there are plenty of truly beautiful hotels in Munnar that offer a much better experience. Save yourself the stress and disappointment—stay somewhere else!
