Noora never fails to go above and beyond every time we touch base, never fails to accommodate us fully and provides excellent customer service. Towels needed no problem toilet roll no problem parking info. Absolutely anything needed ask Noora. We stay in a variety of travelodge locations Inc Barking Becton Dagenham Ilford etc and would recommend any travelodge to family and friends.

I would like to say a Big Thank you to Lira’s Team in Travelodge Barking I.e. Khatija, Isa.Rif who made my stay comfortable and helped me due to my disabilities. I found Lira and other member of staff very polite, friendly and understand customer needs. I would highly recommend to use Travelodge and guarantee to value your money. *****BZ ****

To whom it may concern I wish to complain about my experience with the Canary Wharf point A hotel on the 24th of March. I was very disappointed with the service and lack of professionalism members of staff showed me and my friends during our short time at the hotel. Firstly, we got told to turn the music down which I totally understand and respected, after turning the music right down we get another knock on the door and once again it was security and a female member of staff claiming we were doing drugs and smoking (which really upset and offended me as I have recently lost a close friend to drug use). I offered them to come and search the room to prove we had no drugs and weren’t smoking but they were having none of it and told us we had to leave. To make it even worse they also made my other two friends leave who were in a totally separate room with no reason or evidence of this supposed drug use and smoking. I tried explaining that we have travelled from Sunderland and would be stranded with no where to stay but I was ignored and told to leave. Before we left the same female member of staff told us the manager has told them to make us leave she then gave us a card with a number to get hold of the manager which we rung immediately after leaving. If our experience with the hotel and service wasn’t bad enough, we then get told on the phone there’s no manager in the building which makes me believe the manager never told anyone to kick us out. In total we spent around 2 hours in the hotel and when I asked about getting a refund I got totally blanked and ignored. I have also emailed Canary Wharf point A hotel to express my disappointment with how we were treated but have not received a reply at this moment. We always stay at the Lion & Key when we visit London and have been fortunate enough to stay here again in October, December, and also January for my husbands 80th birthday. This really is the ”Savoy” of the small hotels in London and we always know without fail, we will have the most perfect stay. All the staff genuinely care about their guests having the best experience and you cannot fault the care and attention to detail that this hotel takes to ensure an excellent customer experience. They have a great team of which we would like to thank Giorgio, Kanti and Stephania for making all our visits a home away from home. The rooms and also public areas in the hotel are kept pristinely clean and are bright and cheerful. I love the attention to detail this hotel has even with the smallest thing. i.e. the shower cap in the bathroom also has a small hairband in the box ,which is excellent if you have long hair and can’t find your own! The beds are also extremely comfortable and we both always have an excellent night sleep. We love the open kitchen where you can see all the food being freshly prepared and cooked to order. They are very generous with their breakfast time which doesn’t end until 12 o’clock lunchtime. The choice and range that they offer in their restaurant, regardless of breakfast or main meals throughout the day would accommodate even the most fussiest eaters, which I am, but even I am extremely spoilt for choice as the breakfast menu is so comprehensive. The quality of the ingredients used in the restaurant is first class and so is the time and care in presentation which also reflects the pride that they take. We can honestly say that the breakfast’s we have at the L&K are the most tastiest, freshest, consistently perfect breakfast’s we have ever had and far exceed the quality that we have experienced over the years in 4 & 5 star hotels. To be honest, we often wonder how they continuously provide such care and attention to detail for the customer, even more so since Covid as many many hotels and restaurants seem to still use this as an excuse for a less than perfect service or menu range. We must’ve had over 100 of breakfasts since we have been coming here in 2018 and the eggs are always perfectly cooked with a lovely orange yolk, regardless of whether it’s a normal full English breakfast, or my husbands favorite the Egg Royale. We very rarely eat sausages or bacon at home, but the quality and taste of the ones here are amazing, so we always, always enjoy our breakfast which set us up for exploring all day. The transport links to this hotel are excellent as well. There are four buses that go past the hotel to Leyton underground, one of which is running 24 hours and they seem to come by every few minutes. Stratford is only four stops from Leyton so excellent connections for overground, DLR, O2 etc. Liverpool Street is the next stop along for even more connections so the location we find is a great asset to wherever we

Booked a stay here for a weekend in London. Initially, I was shocked by the location - down a very poorly lit, narrow street. Arrived for check-in and was greeted by a very friendly man, he was very chatty. When we entered the room, it looked okay at first glance but upon further inspection, we found dirt on the walls, a hair under the duvet and stains on the carpet. The bathroom was poorly managed and cleaned, the toilet seat was wobbly, the drain plug was faulty, the toilet had cracks, stains and only partially flushed, the tiles didn’t look properly cleaned and I didn’t feel comfortable standing on the cracked shower tray. But the icing on the cake was the pungent faecal aroma radiating throughout the entire room as soon as the door shut. I attempted to mask the smell with perfume 3x but it wouldn’t leave. I couldn’t quite locate where it was coming from as the toilet was clean enough but closing the bathroom door only helped slightly. The only enjoyable part of the stay was the bed which was quite comfortable. At 10.30am, we were jolted awake by violent knocking on the door, rattling of the handle and attempted entry as we weren’t informed check out was 10.30 but we’re instead asked when we wanted to leave upon arrival so this was quite startling. Honestly, I cannot recommend this hotel for anyone and would appreciate correspondence about a partial refund regarding my stay as I was greatly disappointed and the experience didn’t correlate with the cost.

Fantastic hotel very helpful staff food and drink in the local area. Very good nightlife spots close by and very easy to get into the city centre. The hotel itself the rooms are a smallish for a couple of nights it’s good as a couple we had no problems at night quite and don’t really hear anything our room was over look the river and could see the sky carts ect. If you only in London for the weekend this hotel is a must stay we planning to stay here again soon.

Air con didn’t work,we needed it to be cooler in the room and made us very uncomfortable each night.no phone in the room to call anyone.we didn’t eat in the restaurant or bar so can’t comment,the room and bathroom very small for the increased price during comic con weekend and plenty of stains on the floors however it was average the bed was ok plenty of pillows,1big towel each no hand towels.rubbish view of a wall.overall it served it’s purpose for the weekend.average hotel.

Such a Great Location & the Staff is Amazing! It’s located right next to Kings Cross & Coal Drop Yards which is convenient. Check in is simple & they even let you leave your luggage for free if you get their early & after your check out. The staff is so kind, to the front desk, Maintenance, Cleaning Crew & Management. I love how the beds you can change the color of the Lighting. There are plugs for your phone & a locker to store your stuff. Also a bar to hang socks or a Towel. They have a huge lounge area where you can chill or work & a kitchen. Pretty big kitchen, great way to save $ while traveling! Bathrooms are always clean & always hot water. They have events throughout the week which is great for connecting with new people. You can tell the staff is like family here & genuine souls! Definitely suggest checking out this Hostel when traveling to London! My next trip into London, I’ll definitely be staying here. 💚
