Hotel berhampiran Servite Church, Innsbruck

Very impressed with our stay at this hotel. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, great restaurant, superb location right at the centre of the old town. Would definitely stay here again next time in Innsbruck.

The location is very near HBF, it’s new, clean and with the great view. The room sound proofing (with next door) wasn’t great. But I was not happy is the service, I booked and prepaid online a few days before checking in. And when we checked in on the day, the front desk told me the payment from travel agent was failed and asked me for full payment in Euro. I was disappointed but still paying again due to late check in hour, and reported to Trip customer service online later. Trip customer service was responsive, and clarified it was the mistake on the hotel side in a moment later. The hotel refunded the payment in the next day, but i have paid twice currency exchange (paid and refund) of credit card charges from bank for the mistake made by the hotel, and they should have time to sort it out with the agent, not to the guest on the arrival day.

Comfortable rooms, great service and good facilities. The bar, pool area and reception all are lovely. Just round the corner to the old town and shopping, restaurants very close by. Very good location just a short walk from the Old Town and not far from the station. Innsbruck is lovely and well worth a visit. The room was nice, though a towel from the last guest had been left in the bathroom. There is no fridge in the room and the safe is too small for a laptop. Comfortable bed. Breakfast was ok, nothing special. It's not a historical hotel in any sense - just the usual. It's also quite expensive for what it is. I wasn't impressed with the staff attitude. Some customer training would be appropriate. Because of that, I will stay elsewhere next time I go to Innsbruck.

Worn down but also quite cute hotel in a great location. What could improve is: Lack of AC (unlucky 35 deg celsius during our stay), black mold in the bathroom ceiling and very fluctuating hot and cold water in the shower. What was good: The location in the old town is great. Tight little parking slope, but hey there is parking! And the young ladies working the reception and the breakfast hall were fantastic. Service-minded and hard-working for the guests’ sake. If you are focusing on walking distance to bars and restaurants and want something affordable and simple, without emptying your wallet - this could be it.

We stayed there two nights and it was great value for its price. In a quaint part of Innsbruck, Pradl Elf fully immersed us in the heart of the city, only a short walk away from restaurants, the Olympic Park, and (a bit further of a walk) the old city. The room we got was spacious, comfortable, and clean. Though we didn't use it, the little kitchenette provided was quite nice and could have been used. The bathroom was good. It is clear that the hotel is not always staffed: before our arrival (which we said via a form would be at 3pm), they sent us emailed instructions for how to get in the event that no staff was there. The instructions were simple to follow and straightforward, but as an American it was a bit odd to not see any staff present. But, the whole time, we felt secure so it was fine. The parking will cost 8 euros a day but is convenient, located about a 2 minute walk from the hotel.

This is a lovely hotel with extremely helpful staff. They helped us book reservations, with directions, and anything we asked them for, and always with a smile. The rooms are large enough, but most importantly, they are efficient. There is plenty of space in the oversized closet with drawers. There are multiple places to put luggage, a desk, and even a couple of sitting chairs and a table. We were very impressed with their breakfast. Not only did they have a lot of choices, but also many options for gluten-free diners (since I’m GF, I notice that). We were also impressed with the number of staff monitoring the dining room and replacing items as soon as they ran out. This hotel is also well-situated. Just down the street from Congress (Hofburg) and a 10-minute walk to Old Town. We highly recommend this hotel. One example of staff going out of their way for us was the night we decided to eat dinner at the hotel after being out all day and coming back dog tired. It was cold and rainy which precipitated the decision to stay in and eat in the hotel. Unfortunately we found out the hotel does not serve food on Sunday and Monday nights. Melike Y. helped us order a meal online from the equivalent of Uber Eats. Not only did she help us translate the menu and input the order, but she also called the restaurant to ensure they got the special order correct. When we went down to get our dinner the bartender, Ashok G. had plates, napkins, and silverware set out for us to use when our meal arrived. We didn't ask for any of that, he just did it on his own. Now that’s service!! As mentioned, the hotel is very well situated. Just down the street from Congress and about a 10-minute walk to Old Town. It’s right across the street from the Nordkette up to Innsbruck mountain and to the Zoo. Finally, we obviously dropped some money on the floor in our room and it went under the bed. The housekeeping staff found the money and laid it on the nightstand. We never would’ve known if we didn’t see it on the nightstand. The staff at this hotel couldn’t be nicer. We felt like they were family by the end of our stay. We highly recommend this hotel for any type of stay.

The Alphotel Innsbruck is probably the worst hotel we've ever stayed at! But we had no choice since we were on a tour package and this was the hotel that Gate1 chose for our itinerary. We weren't the only tour members who did not have a good stay at this hotel. Our tour group had a long day and we were scheduled to arrive late so we were all pretty tired when we arrived. Unfortunately the room we were assigned to didn't even look or feel exceptionally clean and I'm surprised I didn't take photos of the room! Comparing posted photos of the rooms on TA our room looked much older and didn't even have a real chair, but only one of those small round ottomans. And that ottoman was dirty and stained, so we didn't want to sit on that! The bedspread had that ”ick” factor, so we removed it but at least the sheets were clean. Carpet looked grungy so we made sure to wear our slippers and not walk barefoot on it. Regret not taking pictures of the room now. We've stayed at hotels with older or ”tired” decor but they were at least neat and clean, but not at this hotel! Now the ”fun” part was our bathroom door. I was getting ready to take a shower and went into the bathroom, but wanted to use my own soap and toiletries, so I went out of the bathroom and my husband (who was standing in front of the bathroom, looking at the closet or something right across from the bathroom) shut the opaque glass bathroom door. I went back to the bathroom and tried to open the door and it was locked! It was one of those simple privacy type locks where there's usually a pinhole that you can usually press and it'll pop open. Unfortunately, there was no pinhole but a screw so I tried twisting the screw but the door remained locked. Husband tried but it kept turning and he didn't have any tools so he called the front desk and they sent the maintenance guy up. The maintenance guy looked at the door and tried twisting the screw with the same results and said he needed to go get his tools. He returned with his small toolbox and tried several screwdrivers, with no luck. Then he tried using a small drill to remove the screw and still couldn't get the door unlocked. Meanwhile, we were sitting on the bed and watching tv since there was nothing else we could do. I texted our friends who were also traveling in the tour group and assigned to the room right next door to let them know what was happening. And to apologize to them for the loud racket, as the maintenance guy went and got his large power drill and was basically removing the entire door knob and panel. So the guy had to destroy the whole door knob panel because the door lock screw or nut inside the panel was probably stripped and couldn't unlock or open the door; so if I was on the other side of the door I would have been stuck in the bathroom! Hier fühlt man sich sofort zu Hause! Am Empfang, an der Bar, im Restaurant immer freundliche Mitarbeiter. Die Inhaber sind auch vor Ort und leben Kundenpflege pax excellence! Die Zimmer sehr Schick und sehr gut ausgestattet. Das Essen ist auf hohem Niveau und es ist für jeden etwas dabei. Hier sieht man mich sehr gerne wieder

Nous avons passé une nuit dans cet hôtel lors d’un roadtrip. L’hôtel est magnifique et complètement au calme. Les chambres sont très spacieuses, avec une jolie terrasse et une literie très confortable. L’unique petit bémol est l’absence de climatisation mais cela semble être le cas dans bon nombre d’hôtels à la montagne. Il faisait très chaud lors de notre séjour et la nuit n’a donc pas été très reposante … Il y a un grand spa accessible gratuitement ainsi qu’une piscine et il est très agréable de s’y reposer. Le petit déjeuner était tout simplement extraordinaire : une grande variété de produits frais et raffinés. Le restaurant était malheureusement fermé le soir de notre séjour et ce fut un problème pour nous car nous étions en moto et aucun restaurant n’était accessible à une distance de marche raisonnable. C’est alors que Monique, la réceptionniste nous a tout naturellement proposé de prendre sa voiture afin de pouvoir aller manger ! Nous n’en revenions pas d’une telle gentillesse ! Nous n’avons pas osé partir toute une soirée avec sa voiture et l’avons donc empruntée afin d’aller chercher des pizzas à emporter non loin de l’hôtel. Elle nous a ensuite apporté les couverts nécessaires ainsi qu’une bouteille de vin. Nous avons réellement été touchés d’une telle gentillesse et je profite de ce commentaire pour la remercier à nouveau !
