"I think the hotel is situated in prime location . I am happy to come back as they clean the place spectacular but the guest is not show we care or made the place look messy cause housekeeping have a certain time to do a job and is hard for everyone to put up in to the public area and I don’t want to say who cause I don’t know but is not something wrong for a hotel but just the guest doesn’t care and I have to flush the toilet every time and is it my job to do ? it when housekeeping off duty . Next time should put above the rate or increase increment ion rate like on suit and see if they can afford and look after like a home and I am not a public toilet ! to go and clean and wipe down after every one use cause is not my germ or my urine . I don’t want a Hotel embarrassed so no photo has been taken … Ps. The Hotel was great ! Just the people without manners and without highgene and made the place awful …. Kris"

"Location is super convenient, it's right outside King's Cross Station, very easy to get around the city, to/fro from the airport. A lot of shops, Woolworth's and restaurants around the hotel. The reception staff was so friendly and helpful, it was such a pleasant welcome! Breakfast was decent, room was spacious (although furniture seems a little outdated/old), but bed and bathroom were very clean. Overall a very pleasant stay, would visit again if I had the chance!"

"I needed a cheap place to stay, and overall the hostel was okay, but there are definitely things that need improvement. The room itself was messy, mainly because some guests were taking up a lot of shared space with their belongings on the floor and on top of the lockers. I know this is partly the guests’ responsibility, but in a dorm, there should be better supervision or reminders. The shower was nice, and the kitchen facilities were useful, but the kitchen was not well maintained. There were dirty dishes piling up, clogged sinks full of food, and old worn-out sponges that should be replaced more often. There also needs to be proper cloths for drying dishes and wiping tables, plus somewhere hygienic to hang them. The fridges were also completely full, and it didn’t seem like anyone was checking old food from guests who had already checked out. Someone even removed my food from the fridge and left it on the counter at room temperature for hours, which was really frustrating. Overall, the hostel has potential and the basic facilities are there, but it needs better cleaning, better kitchen organization, more fridge space, and more staff supervision in the shared areas."

"Point fort: Emplacement idéal proche de sortie de métro. Possible d’aller dans le centre de Sydney à pied et si on se promène autour de Victoria il est possible d’avoir une très belle vue sur le landscape de Sydney. Point faible: L’hotel possède une buanderie, cependant dommage qu’elle ne soit pas propre. L’hotel n’est pas neuf, la chambre était ok pour un court séjour."

"They have heater inside the rooms. Could get warm but it’s good when you are not used to a very cold weather. Nice amenities. Free staple simple breakfast. But people can be noisy at night. Toilets need more cleaning maintenance in a day cos people who use it could be so careless."

"I truly enjoyed my stay at Regent Courts Hotel. The property has a wonderful heritage charm, with its old building structure and a fascinating vintage lift — complete with a metal sliding door and wooden inner door that gave a nostalgic feel. Spacious room with two queen beds, perfect for four people. Beds and duvets were very comfortable, ensuring a restful sleep. The kitchenette was a great addition, and I was pleasantly surprised to find a Nespresso machine with capsules, milk packets, and other beverage sachets provided. A drip tray and table cloth for drying utensils, pots, and plates would be helpful. The kitchen lighting was too dim in the evenings, making cooking difficult. The knife provided was not sharp and had a chip, which could potentially cause food contamination — replacing it would improve safety. Although a washer was available, we didn’t use it since the dryer was located on the ground floor, which felt inconvenient. The Kings Cross train station is just a 5–7 minute walk away, making travel around Sydney easy. Both Woolworths and Coles supermarkets are about 7 minutes away at the end of the street, perfect for picking up essentials. The staff — from front desk to housekeeping — were consistently polite and welcoming, adding warmth to the stay. A short train trip takes you to Bondi Junction, where you can catch a bus to Bondi Beach — ideal for spending a relaxing day by the ocean. The rooftop was another relaxing spot. We visited briefly to take pictures and enjoy the fresh air. Unfortunately, I was welcomed by tiny dead roaches in the toilet. On departure, I noticed a live one coming in and out of a cracked wall near the basin support. Addressing this issue would greatly improve the overall guest experience. Overall, Regent Courts Hotel is a good place to stay for four nights. The shower, heater, water supply, safety, and lift all had no issues. Its location is accessible, close to supermarkets and the train station. The only drawback was the roach sightings, which should be addressed."
