"Let me first say, hotels are always looking for a good review, but I will only give a good review if I honestly feel they deserve it. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Qixian~ the resort grounds are absolutely stunning. My husband and I were so pleasantly surprised to discover that the resort has been thoughtfully designed to feel part of the rainforest. Everywhere you look there are giant boulders, gurgling clear streams, ancient trees and hidden trails that make you feel you are walking deep in a forest. All you hear are the birds and the water rushing in the streams! We have travelled all over China, and this is the quietest, most authentic feeling nature spot we have ever experienced. In addition, there are so many hot springs you can choose to relax in, or you can use the hot spring attached to your balcony! The restaurant has a good variety and we liked everything we ordered, it was fresh and flavorful, we tried the pork ribs and braised tofu, both delicious, but the green coconut filled buns were a perfect ending! The lobby staff was friendly and helpful, and gave us all kinds of upgrades! You can get pickup on the carts anytime, but we preferred to walk and enjoy the beauty, the resort grounds feel huge, but honestly its well designed so you can reach any spot in 5-10 minutes. Also, they have all kinds of activities you can join. We really enjoyed the rainforest walk, the lady from the Li family that conducted the walk was so lovely, we could tell she really had a connection to the forest and just radiated joy as she showed us all the plants, it was one of the highlights of our stay! Our room was clean, the sheets were soft and the bed was comfortable. The view onto the palm forest was so relaxing to look at as we soaked in the spring. The infinity pool was spectacular, the setting is gorgeous and peaceful. The coconuts and dessert we ordered were really good, however, the drinks we ordered were awful and maybe they can get some more outgoing staff to work at the pool bar, maybe because it was winter time and less people are at the pool? Breakfast is served in a building that overlooks the river, there is ALL kinds of food, if you are a Westerner you can find fried eggs, toast, and pastries. But I recommend going to the area where fresh rice noodle is made for you on the spot, add toppings and fried eggs, it was delicious! There are some rustic areas to the resort- it feels a bit abandoned in areas, like its just too big to keep up with ie. Giant empty pools, some of the buildings look in desperate need of refurbishing, but overall we felt like the resort was truly beautiful and amenities really made this a great value for the price we paid. We are already planning to come back when we need a break from the city!"

"The hotel is well situated in the Yanoda Forest park. The room was clean, quiet, the bed was comfortable, hot water available in the shower and all toiletries included. The staff was very helpful, although as a person who cannot speak Chinese it was a bit challenging. The breakfast and diner at the restaurant was very good. I quite enjoyed the offered night trail tour. Overall it was a very good stay and I would not hesitate to stay here again. My only suggestion to the hotel would be to include the WeChat contact details on the hotel booking confirmation. The staff does not speak English so couldn’t communicate when I called the given number. It was very stressful and challenging to get into the park to access the hotel without someone trying to sell me an entry ticket. Also finding the right place for the shuttle service to the hotel took us half an hour and a lot of stress. Only if the hotel provided their WeChat in the booking confirmation I would have avoided all of this and the stress. However, once at the hotel the staff was very kind and helpful."

"Nice, older property with beautiful views of Wuzhishan. Food at the Chinese restaurant is decent and service throughout the hotel was friendly. Convenient parking and nice property to walk around. Bathroom amenities are not so great though. Soap smells not so nice. Recommend bringing your own."

Очень необычным и интересным опытом стало переписывание священных писаний: это помогает замедлиться, сосредоточиться и почувствовать внутреннее спокойствие. Также мы прокатились по озеру, невероятно красивые виды. Сходили на «Тропу здоровья», маршрут проходит среди живописных джунглей. Отдельное спасибо прекрасной девушке 吉茹, скрасила наше пребывание безупречным сервисом. Это место отлично подойдёт тем, кто хочет отдохнуть от суеты, насладиться природой и спокойствием."

"This hotel was a happy discovery - much like the little city of Baocheng itself! Friendly, relaxed,.comfortable. Rather than spending our whole time encased in concrete & glass, in this hotel guests walk to their rooms along corridors that are open, like verandahs. So there's plenty of fresh air and natural light. The staff were exceptionally kind & helpful too."
