"We stayed for two nights because the hotel is conveniently located near Fanjingshan. While the location was suitable for our visit, the overall experience was disappointing. The hotel was extremely quiet when we first arrived, and it appeared that we were the only guests during our stay. Unfortunately, the level of service did not meet expectations. On our first night, we requested washing powder so that we could do some laundry. We were told that it had run out and that more would be available the following morning. However, when we checked the next day, there was still no washing powder available. More frustratingly, the staff made no effort to update us on the situation or offer an alternative solution. This lack of communication and initiative was disappointing. The bed was also very hard and uncomfortable. We eventually decided to extend our stay by one more night because my wife was experiencing back pain and preferred not to travel. However, our sleep quality did not improve. At around 6:00 a.m., we were awakened by other guests talking loudly in the corridor and by the constant noise of doors opening and closing. The soundproofing appears to be poor, as noises from the hallway could be clearly heard inside the room. Between the uncomfortable bed, inadequate sound insulation, and the lack of attentiveness from the staff, we did not get the restful stay we had hoped for. ."

"This was the most comfortable mattress I’ve ever slept on! I had the best nights sleep. The room was really lovely, the bathroom had everything you could want. The only thing I was a little disappointed by was the front desk. She was really lovely, but gave me incorrect information on when the last bus left Tongren - she said it was 4pm but when I arrived at 5:30pm I was still able to get one. I also didn’t get any info on shortcuts etc that the other reviews mentioned, which is a big part of the reason I booked this place."

"Amazing! Fascinating! Fanjingshan was the final stop of our memorable 10-day tour of Guizhou Province, and we truly could not have chosen a better place to conclude our journey. We felt genuinely blessed to stay at this lovely guesthouse for three nights. From the very beginning, the owner Mr. Zhang Haotian and his family made us feel completely at home; they were warm, engaging, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. The rooms are tastefully designed and thoughtfully laid out, perfectly sized for comfort. Our room offered a soothing view of the river, along with a private balcony; an ideal spot to relax with your favourite tea or coffee. The modern touches were impressive too, especially the high-tech sensor toilet, which added a pleasant surprise. The three-storey guesthouse is equipped with an elevator, a thoughtful convenience for guests with heavy luggage or those who may find climbing stairs challenging. Dinner, lovingly cooked by the family, was absolutely delicious, with generous portions that reflected both their hospitality and culinary skill. Every meal felt homely and satisfying. We only wish we had taken more and better photographs of the guesthouse. Without a doubt, this is one place we will return to. As for the enchanting Fanjing Mountain itself, the owner drove us to the scenic area entrance. He even offered to pick us up later, but we chose to walk back instead, enjoying the cool climate. Fanjing Mountain is magical in its own right. The steep cable car ride to the summit, which takes over 20 minutes, was an experience in itself, offering breathtaking views of the mountain ranges stretching endlessly around us. At the top stands the age-old Buddhist temple, serene and awe-inspiring, perfectly harmonising with its natural surroundings. We loved the guesthouse, we are very grateful to Mr. Zhang and his family for their kindness, and deeply thankful for the unforgettable experience at Fanjing Mountain. It was the perfect ending to a remarkable journey."

"The hotel is almost perfect. They provide disposable (one time use) towers as well as cotton towers. The room has a smart voice activated system for simple control on lights and curtains. Sorry, it only work in Chinese. Our room does not have any chair ( there are two chairs in the balcony). The room is clean, close to Mount Fanjing east entrance."

"This hotel is conveniently located 5 mins away from the entrance of Fanjingshan. The room was spacious and clean, no odor, the young owner couple speaks English and was very generous when we arrived. They packed us some lunch and shuttle us from and back to the hotel from Fanjingshan. Recommended."

"服務超級好！兩位老闆熱情又周到，接送我們去景區，還給我們分享水果。門前的綠化太漂亮了，各色的花，還有檸檬樹。房間非常乾淨舒適和温馨，景色也不錯。最獨特的是提供的用品，是住過的這麼多家店裡最讓我喜歡的，燕麥香皂，皮筋，很便攜的梳子，牙刷也很好用，棉簽也是方便使用的，不像其他的很軟一用就斷。隔音很好，午休和晚上睡覺都很安穩。祝生意興隆！"

"The place is located very near to Fanjingshan east gate entrance/visitor centre, approximately 10 minutes walk. The owner is very friendly and gave us helpful tips on purchasing entrance tickets and beating the crowd. They have a restaurant on the ground floor so getting food was really convenient for us. The food was great and the servings were generous. Our room was clean and spacious. They even provided a very traditional tea set for use, but unfortunately we were short on time. Highly recommend!"
