"We had the chance to stay in the suite, which was very spacious and comfortable. The large terrace was absolutely magical, with a direct view of the river and no buildings to obstruct it — truly a highlight of our stay.
The hotel itself is clean and quite simple, which we appreciated. The food was also good and enjoyable.
The only downside was that coffee at breakfast was charged separately (25 RMB), which felt a bit surprising.

"Nice cosy hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Love the big black dog named 黑黑, very docile and cuddly. Nice cooking too, we took all our meals at the hotel. 刘叔, the chef-cum-driver also makes the tea leave served at the hotel. We trailed the tea aroma to see how he prepared and dried the tea leaves. A pleasant touch to this wonderful stay.
The surrounding offers nice walking trails. We walked into an off-the-beaten-track trail as directed by the local and it took us through harvested padi fields waiting for the next planting season. It was quite an experience, we figure if we got stuck, people around or in the cable cars should not miss two lost souls in the padi fields!"

"Our arrival to the village was a bit difficult and we might have been a tad grumpy after having to climb up 20minutes vertically from the bus stop to the hotel with our 2 heavy suitcases, but immediately upon arrival our mood took a 360 shift. The owner was super friendly and told us that he even tried to reach us to pick us up by car but couldn’t due to our international number. We then got a room upgrade and he showed us where we can head out to see the first sights. We originally planned to stay only 1 night, but ended up loving our stay so much that we stayed an extra evening. We had a very nice European breakfast on the hotel’s beautiful view and made friends with the local cat. All the hikes and cultural experiences around were amazing, we especially liked the Dazhai-Ping’an hike, with so many amazing sights and views along the road. Was probably the most relaxing and enjoyable 3 days in our 3 week trip in south China. At the end of our stay the owner drove us down to the bus. We would absolutely love to come back and spend a full week here in any other season."

"The homestay is perfectly located, just a short walk from the main Rice Terraces observation decks.
The room was brand new and had an amazing view over the terraces.
The owner cooked for us and the food was delicious. We had both lunch and dinner there and loved every dish.
The service was excellent, everyone was super kind and helpful. They arranged our transfers from Yangshuo and to Fenghuang at very competitive prices.
When we got lost during an excursion, the owner even drove out to pick us up for free, which we really appreciated.
The only minor issue was housekeeping. The area is generally very humid, and we noticed some mold traces on the floor and carpet that made the room feel less clean. With the humidity here, a bit more frequent cleaning would help keep the rooms spotless.
I’d still absolutely recommend this homestay. The location, view, food, and service more than make up for it!"

Lots of steps so do think about how much luggage you bring with you. Would be good to know a little mandarin when staying in the villages so that you can get by. We enjoy a 270 degree view of the beautiful scenery from our room.
Hotel front counter staff are extremely helpful. 小潘 particularly gave us helpful advice on many aspects including how to navigate to some of the scenery view points. She also helped us to arrange return trip land transport between Guilin and the hotel. Additionally, her cute puppy 波波 has added to our delightful experience staying here.
The gift given by the hotel when we check out and the free coffee provided during our stay are much appreciated.
An improvement needed is about the bathtub drainage stopper which was malfunctioning."

"we spent one month travelling China and this stay was definitely our favourite! The rooms were very clean and we received a free upgrade and all the amenities in the room worked perfectly! It’s a family run business and the mom made the best homemade food we tried in China and the dad and son were also extremely kind and helpful! They organized a free pick up to and from the bus stop and helped us organize the tickets for the bus to Guilin. The son speaks very good english so communication was no problem and he helped with any questions we had. The location was also extremely convenient and the view was very beautiful! Definitely recommend coming here!"

Or you can take the cable car up to the view point and reach it via walking paths around the rice terraces which takes around 20 minutes, but not ideal if you have luggage. The host was so kind to give us a lift when we left. We were able to do some hikes around the village.
The room was amazing, clean and comfortable with a big window in front of the rice terraces and had all toiletries inside.
We had dinner on the terrace of the hotel, they cook great local food and they gave us some rice wine and tea for free.
The breakfast is typical Chinese with Guilin noodles, eggs and tea.

PPengguna TetamuWe had a wonderful 4-night stay in Longji. The location is quite remote, which made the experience even more peaceful and relaxing—perfect for a quiet getaway surrounded by nature.
The staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to help. Whenever we needed assistance, such as arranging transportation back to Guilin or to another village, they were quick to support and made everything very easy for us.
The restaurant served good food, and the overall cleanliness of the place was well maintained throughout our stay.
If you’re looking for a calm and relaxing escape with warm hospitality, I would definitely recommend staying here.

TTuan Ying GohHad such a pleasant and memorable experience at this inn. The boss, Mr Yu, is super down to earth and sincere. He cooked super well too - taste is just nice, not too oily or salty. And all his ingredients are fresh from his farm, even the chickens and fishes. What a farm-to-table experience. As it is the low peak season now, he could sit down and have good chats with us.
The room is huge, with an unblock mountain view. It’s also near to viewing point 2. There’s this cute inn dog who is so loyal.
The room is well kept, with a balcony for you to sit and sip wine or tea. Note that there are insects because we are by the mountains but you could bring your own repellent. We slept well here.
The driver, Mr Yang, who drove us up Long Ji also stayed at this inn. We asked that he drives us around for the three days we are here and send us back to Guilin city. His driving skill is very stable and he’s very well-versed with the mountain roads (as he’s a local).
What can I say, this experience is simply too memorable. Human relationships forged is the magical part of travel. Would highly recommend you to come experience this inn for yourself (of course during the peak season, the boss might not have time to sit down for a chat).

We were picked up from the main car park on arrival for the ~600m drive up into the town. We got to Ping’an before the check-in time and asked to drop our bags off - the owners actually allowed us to check into our room (much appreciated). Room had a large king bed and a balcony. We were there in February - so the large hot shower and air conditioner heating were great.

On our last day we had trouble getting to the neighbouring town (Dazhai) to sightsee, however the hotel staff were able to help us out, drove us there, and then even back to Guilin City to our next accommodation!
The hotel also serves food, so breakfast and dinner were no problem. The food was delicious and authentic, made with local ingredients.
We would definitely recommend to our friends and family to stay here on their next trip.

FFiona WirthWe had an amazing stay at this hotel in the Longji Rice Terraces! We visited during the off-season and were among the few guests, which made the experience even more special. The peaceful atmosphere and breathtaking scenery were truly unforgettable.
During our stay, the temperature was around 10°C, so it was quite cold. We definitely recommend bringing warm clothing, as the rooms can get chilly. However, the hosts made sure we were comfortable – they even let us sit by the heated stove in the living area to warm up, which was such a cozy experience.
The hospitality was outstanding – the hosts took such loving and attentive care of us, making us feel right at home.

Malgré notre gros retard à l’arrivée, il nous a accueillis avec le sourire et une bienveillance rare.
La chambre était sublime, spacieuse et décorée avec goût, offrant une vue à couper le souffle sur les rizières .
Tout était parfait, du début à la fin. On ne pouvait pas rêver mieux pour profiter de la beauté de Longji.

LLiza MartinsIn the center of the village, this Guest House has the most amazing views to the Rice terraces. In the evening you can see the terraces lightened. It’s in the middle of the 2 principal view points. The room was comfortable and warm. But he best think for me was the kindness of the owners. Ah Juan was always available and open to help me. And her food is delicious. As I was alone, she even was messaging me to see if I was ok. I loved it.

PPengguna TetamuThe Longsheng Hot Springs Resort was a well-spent time of refreshing and relaxing. Surrounded by mountains, crisp air and the sounds of flowing creeks below was an absolutely soothing experience.
The “mountain view” room was clean and spacious and the bed was quite comfortable. I really liked the rocking chair as it added a warm aesthetic to the overall decor. The breakfast buffet was good and provided a variety of options.
The all-day access allowed me ample time to immerse myself into the different climatized pools which was great and I instantly felt regenerated. The natural environment was scenic and inspiring as I took in the warmth and heat of the springs. Though it was quite overcast and a drizzly few days, being outdoors didn’t feel cold.
The staff were quite friendly and helpful and provided adequate responses to various inquiries despite the language barrier. I was glad to make this trip and have this experience.
My only recommendation would be to provide larger sized robes upon request. I found those in my room a bit small and I would’ve preferred a larger one but when I asked at the front desk, none were available.
Overall, it was a wonderful stay and I’d highly recommend it!
