"Amazing stay! The hotel is beautiful, very clean, and the staff is incredibly friendly. The food is delicious and they also offer good vegetarian options. The location is peaceful and quiet – you can sleep with the windows open and hear nature all around. Sitting on the balcony with the view over the rice terraces is truly special. I first stayed in a “90-degree view” room, which I wouldn’t really recommend, as it mostly faces another hotel. If possible, choose a room with a full terrace view – it’s absolutely worth it. A big plus: the staff even made sure I got on the right bus – without their help, I probably would have ended up in the wrong place. Overall, a fantastic place and great value for money. Highly recommended."

"What a gem! A central location in the Dazhai village to be able to fully enjoy the Longji rice villages. Balcony view kept you connected with the village while relaxing in your room. Instant hot water for the shower and nice connected bathroom. The owners of the hotel were very accommodating and were able to answer all of our questions with kindness. On our way in and out we were taken by car, although walking from the parking lot to the hotel is also a quick option. Finally, we ordered dinner in the room the last evening and were surprised by how well the food was made and also the large portions served. No complaints!"

"I just had one of the best stays of my travel here! The scenery from our balcony alone was incredible. the staff were super friendly and cheery, although they didnt speak english that wasnt a problem as we got invited for family dinner and drinks despite the language barrier and had a great evening. The food was incredible too, you should try the braised pork belly! Only reason why i didnt give full rating is that the wifi was almost nonexistent and didnt work for me or my friend but the mobile data signal was good in the area anyway."

"I had a great stay here. The owner and his staff are very kind and helpful. The location is amazing as you are just a couple of minutes away from the golden buddha viewing platform. They picked me up from the parking when I arrived and dropped me off when I was leaving. He even made the effort to take me to the parking so I could visit the other village by bus. I highly recommend staying here, you won’t regret it. Thanks a lot, you were awesome and I will definitely stay again here when I’m back."

"The location of this hotel is simply magical, right in the heart of the Longji rice fields. However, the language barrier was a real challenge. Even with a translator, communication was often limited to “hello” and “yes,” which made it difficult to organize activities or transportation. The included breakfast, on the other hand, was excellent and very generous. As for the skylight in the room, which was supposed to offer a view of the sky, it acts like a mirror in the evening... too bad!"

"The hotel is situated really nice in the village and the view from the room is good, it is possible to see the rice terraces; the only downside is the tree blocking partly the view on the terraces. The village itself is very quiet, many hotels/restaurants closed down during/after covid, and it was really different compared to the vibrant life we saw back in 2017 when we also visited this village. The room was basic but really nice and clean and the bed comfortable. The owners do not speak English, but were super friendly and helpful. They arranged transfers from/to the airport, were happy to give us tips about the surroundings and made sure we always had enough hot&cold drinking water. The dinner (which you can buy from the menu) was ok, but there are better restaurants in town. The free breakfast was very simple. All in all we had a nice stay at this hotel."

"遇見昕田的服務太暖了！幫接送、搬行李，還幫規劃梯田遊玩路線。民宿農家菜絕了，山泉水燉土雞、竹筒飯、稻花魚，食材新鮮、味道地道，連吃三頓都不膩。房間寬敞明亮、以為在梯田上設施不會那麼全，乾濕分離，熱水空調都有，衞生一塵不染，在梯田上住得像家一樣舒服，下次還來！"

"Fantastic location with views to die for, and exactly as indicated in the ad photos. Attentive and prompt service, including tasty Chinese meals. Language barrier was solved as I was able to chat with the staff using WeChat, which could easily translate messages between their Mandarin and my English. It made actual conversation possible, and good info about the local area was imparted to me by my hosts."

"We had a wonderful 4-night stay in Longji. The location is quite remote, which made the experience even more peaceful and relaxing—perfect for a quiet getaway surrounded by nature. The staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to help. Whenever we needed assistance, such as arranging transportation back to Guilin or to another village, they were quick to support and made everything very easy for us. The restaurant served good food, and the overall cleanliness of the place was well maintained throughout our stay. If you’re looking for a calm and relaxing escape with warm hospitality, I would definitely recommend staying here."
