"This is a wonderful hotel! Obviously the view is the star of the show but the hotel does a great job highlighting it. The wooden construction makes such a peaceful atmosphere. And it smells so good:) The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. We had a relaxing morning sipping tea on the balcony. The small child loved the pool (billiards) and the pool (though it was a bit chilly when we were there). The path winds over the front terraces of many hotel and this was one of them. So fun to see travelers as we ate dinner. Easy hikes to other view points from the hotel door. The breakfast was nice. I thought the meals would have had more fresh produce given the season (spring) and location but it was still good. Highly recommend."

Food: Exceptional quality. They use homegrown ingredients, and the flavors are balanced (not too spicy), which was a highlight of our trip. Value: Very fair prices. While other locals might upcharge for food, water and transport, this hotel maintains honest rates. Cleanliness: The rooms were very clean and comfortable. A truly pleasant stay, highly recommended!"

He generously shared insights into the local culture and even personally drove down to the parking lot at the foot of the mountain to pick us up. Such thoughtful and personalized service is truly exceptional. Our room was decorated with great character. The stilt house design beautifully blended traditional charm with modern comforts. Outside our window, we were treated to lush, verdant mountain views. Waking up to such a breathtaking vista in the morning was simply invigorating. A special mention must go to the bamboo chicken and bamboo rice served at the lodge – they were incredibly delicious! The subtle fragrance of the bamboo blended perfectly with the chicken and rice, making every bite an absolute delight. This culinary experience truly enhanced my overall impression of the stay. I was thoroughly impressed with every aspect of the lodge – from the impeccable cleanliness of the rooms and the well-appointed facilities to the high quality of service. The genuine warmth and hospitality from the owner and all the staff made me feel truly at home. The next time I visit the terraced rice fields, I will undoubtedly choose this lodge again. "The location of the B&B is very good and quiet. The B&B owner drove to pick us up, which was very considerate. The boss lady’s cooking is very delicious and we eat there several times a day. She was very enthusiastic and invited us to participate in the annual Tea Festival, where they all performed in ethnic costumes, just like the Chinese New Year. The chartered car driver was very authentic and introduced a lot of local information. We had a very pleasant holiday for a few days. The room was nice with a great view from the window."

It’s a family run business and the mom made the best homemade food we tried in China and the dad and son were also extremely kind and helpful! They organized a free pick up to and from the bus stop and helped us organize the tickets for the bus to Guilin. The son speaks very good english so communication was no problem and he helped with any questions we had. The location was also extremely convenient and the view was very beautiful! Definitely recommend coming here!"

It has its own outdoor hot spa open 18 hrs a day and easy access to the public spa complex which includes also a large pool. The rooms are comfortable albeit a bit dated. Staff is extremely helpful and make a fantastic coffee. They sorted our transport to the rice terraces and back to Guilin airport when Didi let us down. Authentic Chinese breakfast is served. Recommended if you like a hot spa treat"

The staff, both the guys and girls, were really enthusiastic and gave us very clear directions, even reminding us to drive carefully on dangerous roads. The room was spacious, and the bathroom had a great dry/wet separation for the shower. The bedding and towels were all very clean. The hotel restaurant serves lunch and dinner, and you can even catch the sunrise in the morning. Overall, the hotel has a beautiful and well-designed environment, with a viewing platform where you can relax. And a hidden menu! Delicious 😋"
