"The breakfast was simple but delicious. The hostess was incredibly welcoming; whenever she saw us relaxing in the lobby, she immediately brought us tea, which was a lovely gesture. I didn't get a chance to take photos of the room, but it was very clean and tidy. All the towels and toiletries were disposable, which gave us peace of mind. And the view? Absolutely stunning! Apart from the photos with the guesthouse's name, all the other pictures were taken from our window."

He generously shared insights into the local culture and even personally drove down to the parking lot at the foot of the mountain to pick us up. Such thoughtful and personalized service is truly exceptional. Our room was decorated with great character. The stilt house design beautifully blended traditional charm with modern comforts. Outside our window, we were treated to lush, verdant mountain views. Waking up to such a breathtaking vista in the morning was simply invigorating. A special mention must go to the bamboo chicken and bamboo rice served at the lodge – they were incredibly delicious! The subtle fragrance of the bamboo blended perfectly with the chicken and rice, making every bite an absolute delight. This culinary experience truly enhanced my overall impression of the stay. I was thoroughly impressed with every aspect of the lodge – from the impeccable cleanliness of the rooms and the well-appointed facilities to the high quality of service. "The hotel is located on a mountaintop. The rooms are clean, bright, and spacious, just my type. They offer a 270° panoramic view, which is especially enchanting in the mornings and evenings when there's mist – truly ethereal and beautiful. The owner offers pick-up and drop-off service to the Jinkeng Dazhai parking lot and the No. 2 Thousand-Layer Terrace viewing platform, a convenient 10-minute drive. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are all served at the hotel, which has its own kitchen. The food is delicious and reasonably priced, so I highly recommend it. I had considered staying at a hotel inside the terraces before, but most of them have wooden floors; I personally prefer brighter floors."

"The hotel is conveniently located and the service is online. There is a night view to enjoy, but the biggest problem is the soundproofing of the windows. Square dancing or public singing cannot be avoided, but the windows have almost no effect on the noise of passing vehicles. The quietest place in the room is the bathroom. Could the owners and leaders invest more budget in improvements?"

"Traveling with my family, young and old, during the May Day holiday, the room view was absolutely incredible! We could just lie on the sofa by the window and enjoy the stunning terraced fields – so comfortable and relaxing. The B&B is right next to the 'Thousand-Layer Terraces,' about a 15-20 minute walk away. Alternatively, the owner can drop you off at the cable car station to take the cable car up to 'Jinfoding' (Golden Buddha Peak), which the room directly faces. It made for a truly amazing experience. Dining at the B&B was also super convenient. The ingredients were fresh, and the flavors were authentic. A glass of their homemade rice wine really awakens your taste buds and lifts your spirits! 😁"

"Location: You can drive right up to the hotel entrance! The staff were very proactive in helping us carry our luggage to the room, which was very spacious! It's very close to the cable car starting point, and the guesthouse offered to drive us there, taking just a few minutes. The cable car goes up to observation deck #3 at Golden Summit. Amenities: The guesthouse is well-equipped. The duvets and pillows were of good quality. There's a washing machine and dryer upstairs that guests can use for free. Service: All the staff were warm, polite, and patient. Highly recommend! Cons: The soundproofing isn't great. You can hear kids running in the hallway from your room, but it was still quiet once everyone went to bed."

It has its own outdoor hot spa open 18 hrs a day and easy access to the public spa complex which includes also a large pool. The rooms are comfortable albeit a bit dated. Staff is extremely helpful and make a fantastic coffee. They sorted our transport to the rice terraces and back to Guilin airport when Didi let us down. Authentic Chinese breakfast is served. Recommended if you like a hot spa treat"

"A driver picked me up from yangshuo and helped me carry my big luggage up the hill. The homestay owner was very nice and made the best chow mein I had on my entire China trip. The location is perfect as it is close to both viewing platforms. I really enjoyed sitting in the lobby and enjoying the atmosphere. The power was out til 9pm the day I was there but I survived. It was a nice place to stay."

"we spent one month travelling China and this stay was definitely our favourite! The rooms were very clean and we received a free upgrade and all the amenities in the room worked perfectly! It’s a family run business and the mom made the best homemade food we tried in China and the dad and son were also extremely kind and helpful! They organized a free pick up to and from the bus stop and helped us organize the tickets for the bus to Guilin. The son speaks very good english so communication was no problem and he helped with any questions we had. The location was also extremely convenient and the view was very beautiful! Definitely recommend coming here!"

Spacious and bright room + smart facilities + beautiful scenery that can be enjoyed without going out, it's perfect for me! Wake up from the first rays of sunshine in the early morning and watch the fog in the mountains gradually spread and then dissipate. Sitting on the balcony, the wind is still a little cold. I just relax and daydream, and feel that life like this is enough. The boss's local chicken and bamboo shoots are delicious, but I'm alone and I really can't eat so much, it would be a waste."
