"A wonderful hotel with extremely convenient location, right a the bus station with is the only way to reach and leave the city whether from/ to Kunming or Yibin. The hotel is very comfortable and clean, chinese breakfast included. The staff at reception is extremely helpful with their guests, even going out with you on the street to get you on the right taxi or bus to go where you want as the transport system is very different here than the rest of China. I would definitely recommend the Bamboo Boat hotel to any visitor to Yanjin."

"Pretty solid spot considering it’s in the middle of nowhere. Yeah, the room’s kinda old-school, but it’s clean and the bed’s actually comfortable. Check-in took like 20 minutes since they don’t really see international tourists much. There’s a 100¥ deposit that you get back if you check out on time. Nice river view though, and the staff’s super friendly, so honestly no complaints"

The location was pretty good, close to the Yanjin North railway station and to the viewing platform. When I checked out, I asked the hotel manager for the train schedule back to Yibin. It turned out that she was going there by car anyways and offered me to drive me there. She even invited me for lunch. It was so nice! Can't recommend enough.

The biggest advantage of this hotel is its location, very close to the bus station, which makes it convenient for travellers. Unfortunately, the room itself was disappointing. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable. Although there was a clear notice in the room stating that smoking was not allowed, we found a cigarette on the floor. The floor had not been cleaned properly, and there was also a lot of dust on the picture hanging in the room. Overall, the location is excellent, but the cleanliness and comfort of the room definitely need improvement.
