"During the last two days of the May Day holiday, we drove home with our parents and children and passed by Zigong and wanted to see a lantern festival. With not many choices, we read the reviews and booked this hotel directly. The result was so pleasantly surprised. We booked a suite, the room was big enough, and the unlimited supply of ice cream, drinks and yogurt made the children very happy. The meticulous service also satisfied the parents. My mother has diabetes, and sugar-free whole wheat toast was provided for supper. We came back late and it was past the supper time. The staff also enthusiastically asked us if we wanted to cook noodles and wontons, but we were greedy and wanted to eat the internet-famous barbecue downstairs. Although there were not many varieties of breakfast, they were few and exquisite. Next time I take my children to Fantawild, I should choose this hotel again, although it is a 20-minute drive from Fantawild and the lantern festival. After all, Dai Nao Beast has also stayed there. In comparison, Dai Nao Beast is closer, but there is no harm in other aspects. The only downside is that the parking lot is a bit dark and hard to find, but there are plenty of parking spaces."

"This trip was with my family to Zigong, and our stay at the Howard Johnson Zigong Hotel was excellent 😌. It's a five-minute walk from the high-speed rail station and not far from the city center by taxi. It's definitely a resort hotel. The hotel boasts a beautifully designed garden, and all the necessary facilities are readily available. The staff were very welcoming and attentive. The breakfast was plentiful, and we received a complimentary afternoon tea voucher and a simple late-night snack. We even got a free room upgrade on our last day! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Zigong. Facilities: Excellent Cleanliness: Clean and Tidy Environment: Beautiful Service: Warm and Enthusiastic"

"Overall, it's very good. Apart from being too out of the way, it's a relatively cost-effective hotel during the Spring Festival. The room is very large. Our group booked 2 large beds, a parent-child room and a standard room, which are quite large. The entire hotel is next to the high-speed rail station and the bus hub. It was very convenient for us to go see the lantern festival. We went back to the hotel after having lunch in the city, took a rest, and went directly downstairs to sit and sightsee. Drive to the Lantern Festival. The lantern festival that I arrived at around six o'clock was already under traffic control, and private cars were not allowed to enter, so buses were very convenient at this time, and buses could operate until 12 o'clock in the evening. After watching the lantern show, we went back to the hotel. The room was quite quiet, but there was a slight lack of soundproofing. When I went to bed at 11pm, I could still hear the sound of people watching TV next door, although it was very quiet, but fortunately it didn't last long. Overall, it's good. The Spring Festival premium is not particularly high, compared to the hotels in urban areas that usually charge one or two hundred, but the Spring Festival premium is seven or eight hundred. The hotel is conveniently located on a busy street, with Lighthouse Park and the Lighthouse Museum behind it. Just a short walk to the right from the hotel is the Fanhua 1939 Shopping Plaza, which offers a variety of snacks on the ground floor and a delicious food street on the second floor, making it very convenient for dining."

GGuest UserIt is about 20 minutes away from Zigong Lantern Festival and Fangte Paradise, not too far. It is about 3 kilometers away from the busiest Chinese commercial center. There are a lot of food and all kinds of rabbits. Parking is free. The hotel room is relatively large and the facilities are quite new. The air conditioner is central air conditioner, but it can adjust the temperature and the heating temperature is suitable. When I checked in, I was greeted by Ms. Xiao Liao. The service was very enthusiastic. If there were any problems, the feedback was very timely. There was no room during breakfast time, so the staff guided us to the large dining room inside. It feels better to choose this place to see the lanterns than near the park, and it is convenient to eat.

DDeirstarA very comfortable hotel and a helpful and friendly staff. The free breakfast was very good with a lot of variety. There are blackout curtains and you can easily turn off all the little lights that hotel rooms always have. Bus G3 goes from the high speed train station to the hotel and bus 65 goes from the same bus stop to Shenhai Well and the Dinosaur museum. The lovely botanic gardens are only a bus ride away and you can walk through a tunnel and across the bridge to the older part of the city and the Salt museum, or you could just get a bus. The hotel is on a busy road but the hotel was surprisingly quiet.

GGuest UserA huge contrast in my experience over the two nights. I arrived at 9:30pm and went to my room to find chaos on the corridor; other guests with no conscience or respect for others who think it is good to have groups of people in one room with the doors open between their adjoining rooms and televisions blaring and children running and screaming in the corridor with parents shouting after them, which continued until after 11:30pm. The breakfast was also exceptionally busy and noisy. However when I returned to the hotel later in the day the majority of people had gone and the hotel took on a completely different feel. It's rural location and large landscaped grounds helped to give it the serenity of which it was deserving. The staff worked incredibly hard to clean all of the rooms and yet still had time to bring small gifts to my room which I found when I returned. The breakfast buffet had a great selection and the room was large and comfortable with a nice view of greenery. Great location for the dinosaurs and also easy to obtain a Didi to get to the centre of Zigong. . Also walking distance to the Qinglong Reservoir which has a 13 mile circuit for cycling and annual half marathon running race.
