"Great stay! Attention to details, the moment we walked into the hotel lobby calming aroma sense, welcoming us .Sweets and water provided at the hotel lobby. The room is spacious. Pro: Location: stone throw away from the train station, old town and tons of food choices. Service: great service, Official check in time 3pm, we arrived at 1pm and our room was ready. The staff were friendly and service with smiles. Amenities: there is a sauna room, we didn't get to use it but we went to check it out. It is sparkling clean! Disposable room slippers provided which are rare in Europe. They also provide pulse point essential oil placed at the bedside. Love the sense. Kettle provided in the room, convenient for quick coffee fix. Con: Bed: this is the only major concern. The bed support is bad, at the hard side."

"The hotel is very easy fitted with self check-in stations and a vending machine with all the necessities. The rooms are nice and cosy. Down the street to the left it is a business district and bus station, so a lot of people and packages everywhere, but to the right is an amazing bakery with delicious breads. The hotel is only a few 100m away from the old town with quite a few restaurants and shops along the way. In the old town almost on every corner is a different musician which really adds to the beauty of this city. Was a great stay!"

"The best hotel experience I have had in the last few years. Hotel staff were nice and helpful. Check-in was efficient, didn't take much time to wait and process. Room quality and setting was very good. Cleaning service was good. The welcoming free sparking water was a surprise (remember this is in Europe) Location is perfect. 5min to central station and right at the starting point of the waking route to thee old town and all famous spots. We had a nice around the castle wall which started and ended at the hotel. Really can't complain. Highly recommended."

"For straight 2 nights we stayed, no hot water supply at all during the night when back in hotel , had to do cold turkey style shower!!! And on day 1 at least there's some hot water in the afternoon, but on day 2 the whole day has no hot water supply! Very disappointed."

"the room was beautiful and spacious, and breakfast was adequate, though some variety would have been a bonus. quiet location away from the hustle and bustle was something we appreciated! however, perhaps we’re not used to this, but no water and no fridge were provided. also, there was a constant sewage smell from the toilet bowl. overall, still a pleasant stay and good value for what we paid:)"

"Das Hotel ist sehr gut. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich das Zimmer sauber und ordentlich. Das Bad war sauber und aufgeräumt. Softdrinks aus der Minibar waren im Preis enthalten und es wurde täglich aufgefüllt. Zu aller Überraschung gab es am 6.12 für jeden Gast einen Nikolaus vor der Zimmertür. Das Frühstück bot eine sehr große Auswahl von hoher Qualität. Besonders lecker waren die frisch gemachten Rühreier, Spiegeleier und Omlet nach Wunsch. Der Speisesaal war stets sauber und aufgeräumt…"

"An sich ein tolles Apartmenthotel. Doch es ist in Jahre gekommen. Was ich aber am meisten bemängele ist die Sauberkeit. Das Bett war frisch bezogen, bequem und sauber und wir hatten neue Handtücher. Ansonsten gab es gefühlt keine Grundreinigung nach dem Gästewechsel. Überall gab es deutlich Flecken und Fingerabdrücke. Auf dem Touchscreen der Klimaanlage lag ein fetter Belag. Ich habe erst einmal im nah gelegenen DM Markt Allzweckreinigertücher gekauft und die Dinge, die häufig angepackt werden (Türklinken, Lichtschalter, Fernbedienung, Safe etc.) gereinigt. Die Wände, die kleine Couch, die Stühle) hatten Flecken. Leisten, Bett hatten Abschrappungen. Zudem finde ich persönlich es nicht gut, wenn Teppich in einem Hotelzimmer ausgelegt ist. Auch hier waren Schmutzspuren sichtbar. Was gut war, ist, dass die Fenster ziemlich dicht schließen und nachts auch die Lüftungsanlage zentral abgeschaltet wird. Das Rauschen stört somit nicht den Schlaf. Für laute Autos (Poserszene in der Nähe) kann das Hotel nichts. Die Küche ist komplett eingerichtet und alles, was man evtl. benötigt, ist vorhanden. Wir haben sie aber nicht benutzt. Das Frühstück war lecker, hatte genügend Auswahl und das Buffet wurde immer wieder aufgefüllt. Allerdings sitzt man zum Essen nicht sehr bequem, da der offene Raum gegenüber der Rezeption abends als Bar genutzt wird. Da ist die Bestuhlung (Couch und kleine Sesselstühle) in Ordnung. Allerdings waren auch hier deutliche Flecken auf den Couchen sichtbar. Ansonsten ist das Hotel sehr zentral gelegen und als ist gut fußläufig zu erreichen. Da wir nur 2 Nächte in Nürnberg verbracht haben, war es okay für uns. Noch einmal würden wir das Hotel aber nicht buchen."

"Early morning, 6 AM. The lady who works the new shift just gets in from the cold. There's 2 more behind the desk. I go to the reception to check out. She says quite rudely, raising her palm, ”5 minutes.” I am kind of late for my flight and nobody is there. 5 minutes? In that voice? At 6 AM? And you want a good review? The room was fine otherwise and the girl at the reception the previous night was super ok. It's just about chance, I guess. No standards"

"This is our favourite hotel in Nuremberg!! Attention to detail on every step of the experience, their crews were simply amazing! They are happy to serve you, not one person but every staff that I encountered. I got a surprise birthday cake in my room with a hand written note, am truly grateful and heartfelt. So thank you, Karl August your neighbourhood hotel. 5 stars and beyond. We will be back again for sure!"
