"The good thing about this hotel is its location. It is very close to the subway. However, the hygiene is not very good. The pillows smell of sweat. The first night, they gave us the wrong room, and we entered someone else’s room accidentally. Then they assigned us another room without AC. The second night, we got a new room with AC, which was broken the next night. Overall, the room is very mediocre but our 216 is relatively big, and the facilities are old. I will consider other hotels next time."

"IT IS MY 2ND TIME TO STAY HERE. THE DESTINATION OF THE HOTEL IS VERY CONVENIENT TO GO THE FAMOUS TOURISM SIGHTS! MANY RESTAURANTS NEARBY THE HOTEL! IT IS NO DISAPPOINTED TO STAY HERE! GOOD TRANSPORTATION NETWORK HERE! EASY TO WALK TO prosperity tourism area to have a chill trip. Remember to take more photos !"

"it was a pleasant stay, the location was perfect for us, nice restaurants and groceries nerby, metro station is 1 minute away. we also liked the breakfast very much and the breakfast area was nice :) the only point that could be fixed - there was no kettle in the room (but it was announced in my reservation)"

"The hotel was very good overall, and the location was also decent. The nearest bus stop was only a 3-minute walk away, while access to the underground metro was around 10 to 14 minutes on foot. The tram stop was also within a 10 to 14-minute walking distance. The building itself was nice, clean, and felt fresh. Separate lockers were available, which could be used by paying a fee, allowing guests to store their luggage even after check-out. However, the security was not very good. In case of any incident, the staff does not actively help and usually just provide an email address or ask you to contact the police. It’s important to keep this in mind and stay cautious during your stay."

"I have been visiting Paris with my 15 years old son. The hotel is great for its price. Close to Moulin rouge and 2 metro stations. Montparnas and Louvre are in walking distance (about 20 minutes). French breakfast is available (price is reasonable, but there's other oprions nearby). There are many nice restaurants around, where we could get lunch or dinner. We lived on 6 floor with amazing view! Hotel doesn't have an elevatoor, but we knew about that and were ready for the stairs. Cleaning was every day of our staing, room is small, but nice. Staff is very nice and friendly."

"This hotel was lovely and really saved our trip, which my partner had planned as a surprise for my 30th birthday! Shortly after arriving in Paris we arrived at our first ‘hotel’, which we quickly left without a refund due to location and poor cleanliness (thrilled to pay double city tax). Following a search for a better hotel, we luckily found the Star Champs-Elysées. (✓) Location: Star Champs-Elysées is perfectly situated near the Arc de Triomphe and Charles de Gaulle–Étoile Metro Station, being a 5 minute walk away. With restaurants and shops in close proximity, it’s a great spot. Although we didn’t have time to go, there is a fun looking hidden cocktail bar / speakeasy called Haze, which is only a few doors down from the hotel. (✓) Cleanliness: Spotlessly clean and well-presented, something we noticed instantly when we arrived at Star Champs-Elysées. This continued as we entered our room, with housekeeping maintaining the same high standards throughout our stay, working around our belongings, which remained safe and untouched. (✓) Customer Service: The staff were welcoming, friendly and consistently ensured comfort and convenience, from asking us to take a seat whilst they complete the check-in for us, to bar staff insisting on bringing the drink to you (with no queues on both occasions). In the room there was a helpful guest services book, providing helpful information on the hotel’s services and amenities, as well as local recommendations. (✓) Room & Hotel: Our last minute booking was for the Classic Double Room, a nicely decorated modern yet warm and inviting room, albeit a little small, the room felt cosy and was ideal for our stay whilst we explored Paris. The pool was relaxing and whilst it was a small space, it was quiet and enjoyable. However as I was not expecting a pool, finding swim shorts during winter in Paris felt like an impossible challenge - luckily Decathlon, the only shop I found selling swimwear (out of many shops), is an 8-10 minute walk from the hotel. (!) Price Increase (Trip.com): Not a reflection on the hotel and whilst we still found the hotel good value, I wanted to point out that when we first found the hotel using the Trip.com app, it displayed ’1 room remaining’, when booking, I paused for a couple of minutes to double-check this was the best price available, but when I returned to Trip.com’s app and tried to pay for the booking, I was notified that payment could not be completed as the room was sold out. In a following search, Star Champs-Elysées with ‘1 room remaining’ appeared again, however the price had increased for the same Classic Double Room. Despite still being the best price, I was not impressed with Trip.com’s method of increasing the price during booking - something a friend has also experienced. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and agreed that this is our first choice when returning to Paris in the future."

"Wonderful hotel in a great location right opposite Gare du Nord. Arrived early morning after a long flight, and although my room wasn’t available yet, I left luggage, had a coffee and was given tips for a stroll along the canals close by, to try to beat jet lag. Room was compact for 1 person but perfect. Staff were amazing, and I wouldn’t hesitate to return!"

"Hotel situato vicinissimo alla metro e autobus… la zona non è il massimo, un po’ “periferica”. Nelle vicinanze ci sono diversi market. Pulitissimo, personale ECCEZIONALE. Camere molto piccole ma rispecchia la caratteristica dei tre stelle di Parigi. Caffè e acqua gratuiti ad ogni ora e reception aperta 24/h. Mi hanno fornito phon e scaldabagno su mia richiesta… e addirittura la sera prima di partire abbiamo perso le chiavi della camera e lo staff ci ha immediatamente risolto il problema. BRAVISSIMI! Tornerò di certo ❤️"

"First of all, the lobby is beautiful and welcoming, and the location is excellent. Room amenities are replenished daily, which is a nice touch. The room size is reasonable, and cleanliness is very well maintained — great job to the housekeeping team. One of the highlights is the gym, which offers a lovely view of the Eiffel Tower. The gym also has a coffee machine, which is quite unique and not something you see in many hotels around the world — a fun bonus! I really enjoyed my stay here and would highly recommend this hotel. Will definitely stay again."

"It was my 3rd or 4th stay in this hotel. What I like about this hotel is its location, which is close to Gare de l’Est. The price is also quite reasonable for a hotel situated in such a strategic area. The receptionists are friendly and responsive. I once experienced an issue with the towel dryer, and after informing them, they resolved it promptly."
