Very well located and very comfortable hotel. Receptionist Ninno was very helpful with car rental and a day trip to Annecy and Ninno is a very cheerfull person. Everything was perfect.

Vriendelijke ontvangst bij receptie, schone kamer, goed ontbijt. Goede uitleg gekregen over parkeren met korting en advies over uiteten gaan met voucher voor drankjes bij goed restaurant naast hotel. Zeer tevreden.

Our stay at Hotel Beau Rivage felt like a quiet pause along the journey. It’s the kind of place where you slow down without trying, simply because of where you are. The location is truly lovely—surrounded by nature, with greenery all around. It immediately felt peaceful, almost grounding, as if the hotel blends naturally into its surroundings rather than standing apart from them. One of the highlights was the view over the Rhône River. Watching the water flow by added a gentle rhythm to our stay, whether in the soft morning light or later in the day as everything settled into evening. It’s the sort of view that makes you linger a little longer, even if you’re just passing through. As a stopover location, the hotel worked perfectly. It was convenient, easy to access, and restful—exactly what you hope for when breaking up a longer journey. Hotel Beau Rivage didn’t need to do much to impress. The natural setting, the river views, and its ease as a stopover made it a calm and memorable place to rest before moving on.

Uitstekend hotel, niets aan te merken op de kamer of de hygiëne. Handig is de ondergrondse parking met valet service (aan een correcte prijs). Personeel is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het enige probleem dat we hadden was het feit dat ondanks een eerdere mail en het extra nog specifiek op de dag van onze aankomst op voorhand telefonisch melden dat wij een kamer met 2 bedden vroegen, hier geen rekening mee werd gehouden wanneer wij in het hotel aankwamen en wij een kamer met één ”groot” bed kregen. De dag nadien kregen wij dan wel de gevraagde kamer met 2 bedden. Voor de rest was eigenlijk alles perfect !

The location is good in the sense that it is close to the tram station. Unfortunately, there were a few homeless tents set up directly under the bridge between the tram station and the hotel, and we had to walk past them to get to the hotel. That part felt a bit unsafe. However, aside from the homeless tents located directly under the bridge, the surrounding area was very clean, and we didn’t see any graffiti at all. The bridge area was really the only part that felt uncomfortable. When we arrived around 1:00 PM, no one was at the front desk. There was a sign saying the staff member was in the breakfast area, but there was no indication of where that was. A phone number was provided, but no one answered when we called. We understood that check-in wasn’t until later, but we simply wanted to leave our luggage so we could start exploring the city. After waiting about 20 minutes, a staff member finally arrived and informed us that our room would not be ready until 5:00 PM, even though the stated check-in time is 3:00 PM. We came back around 6:00 PM to check in, and the ladies assisting us were really nice and welcoming, which helped improve the overall experience. We rented this place with another family, and they were able to place us on the same floor next to each other, which was super awesome and very much appreciated. Once we were checked in, we did like the hotel. We requested that the sofa be converted into a bed for our girls, and this was done promptly, which we really appreciated. We stayed for only two nights, and there was no housekeeping service during our stay. It’s unclear whether housekeeping would be provided for longer stays. We were expected to take out our own trash and keep the kitchen area clean. While I understand washing dishes and cleaning up after ourselves, having to dispose of trash ourselves was inconvenient and should have been clearly communicated on the website. It was also odd that guests are expected to clean, yet dish soap and sponges are not provided unless you specifically ask for them. Overall, I wouldn’t consider this an aparthotel, as it lacks many services typically provided by a hotel. It feels more like a furnished apartment rather than a hotel-style accommodation. That said, we paid less than $100 USD per night during New Year’s Eve, which is excellent pricing. I would stay here again for the price and the level of service provided, but it would be helpful if the self-service expectations and the surrounding walking conditions were clearly communicated beforehand—for guests who may be willing to pay more for less work or for those who are not comfortable walking past the homeless area.

Well priced and in a convenient location. The staff were super friendly, check in was easy and the room was clean. Internet was stable. Very happy ☺️

Accueil impeccable, l’équipe de la réception est vraiment agréable. L’hôtel est très bien situé, avec le tram juste à côté et plusieurs commerces accessibles rapidement (Carrefour, Burger King…). En revanche, gros bémol sur la propreté : la chambre n’était pas très clean, ce qui gâche un peu l’expérience.

Struttura facilmente raggiungibile, camera pulita e ordinata. Personale disponibile e accogliente. Colazione ottima e abbondante. Tornerò sicuramente.

A seulement 15 minutes du métro d'Oullins, cet hôtel est facile d'accès. Un accueil souriant et rapide m'a permis de récupérer rapidement mes clés. Le logement est fonctionnel, propre et de taille assez grand pour une personne. Bien que situé à côté de l'autoroute, l'isolation de la chambre est efficace. Un seul bémol, la climatisation réversible fonctionne difficilement et ne chauffe pas trop la pièce.
