"The location is great, but there's road construction in front, making it a bit chaotic. Taxis are also hard to find. The sinks weren't working; I called twice, but thankfully there were two sinks. The most unbelievable thing was calling a taxi to Gare de Lyon Perrache. I showed the attendant my train ticket and gave him my room number 608. He said he'd be there in two minutes, only 7-8 minutes. The car arrived, and the attendant told the driver, but ten minutes passed and he still hadn't arrived. I asked the driver, and he said it would take another ten minutes. I asked where he'd gone. His English was okay at first, then he said he'd be there soon. Five minutes later, he said he'd be there in two minutes. I checked Google Maps, and it said it would take another 20 minutes. The driver took me to another train station, saying the hotel staff had sent him there! He even offered to take me back to the hotel to verify my identity. My train was delayed. When we got to the train station, he wouldn't let me get off, called his friend, and we argued. I paid €28 for a €10 taxi ride. Catching my train was the priority. Please contact the hotel through Ctrip to complain."

"Review from my 13 years old daughter :) Enjoy it. We came to this hotel thinking it was going to be an amazing experience, but sadly it was the complete opposite. At first it seemed okay, although the first impression it gave us was that it was far too new to be good. Unfortunately, we were right. Exhausted, we stumbled into our rooms, ready to sleep. But the moment we opened the bed sheets, we were horrified. They were covered in hair. It honestly looked like dogs had been sleeping on the bed and the sheets hadn't been washed for weeks. We hoped the other room would be better, but it was just as bad. There were multiple stains all over the bed, and it made us feel absolutely disgusted. We went straight back to reception and asked to change our rooms. To our surprise, instead of apologizing, they completely denied what we were seeing. They kept insisting that the sheets were clean, even though they clearly weren't. It was unbelievable. Eventually, after arguing with them, we were finally given different rooms. Thankfully, they weren't as bad as the first ones, so we were finally able to get some sleep. The next morning, we still had a lot to do, but we decided to do the right thing and speak to reception again. We asked if they could offer us one free night to make up for such an awful experience. The receptionist seemed completely shocked and had to call the manager. This is where the experience became even worse. Instead of trying to solve the situation professionally, the manager spoke to us aggressively and immediately refused. Rather than taking responsibility for the disgusting condition of the rooms, they simply offered us free access to the pool, as if that could somehow make up for sleeping in filthy beds and the way we had been treated. By that point, we had completely lost our patience. We were tired of the poor cleanliness, tired of being told that what we clearly saw wasn't real, and tired of the rude attitude from the staff and management. We had enough. We packed our things, left the hotel, and booked another one instead. This was an incredibly disappointing experience, and we certainly will not be returning or recommending this hotel to anyone."

The restaurant is very good, even if the service can be improved for the price (broad rassed, cold dish) but tasty. Quality breakfast, but little choice. Reception is perfect! (In particular, the girls very pro and arrangeant!) Les chambres sont classiques et auront bientôt besoin d'un coup de frais (TV non connecté, téléphone HS, climat contrôlée via réception, pas de surmatelas) mais la vue est just incroyable. We're back, we're back."

"The second time I came to Lyon, this time I had a bad experience at the beginning. I was given a very small window at the beginning, with no light at all, and it was very gloomy when I went in. At first, they said there was no room to change. After Ctrip helped to communicate with the hotel again, I was able to change back to the room I stayed in last year within an hour. "The hotel is located in the Old Town. When I initially booked it, a platform oversight meant I didn't get a detailed understanding of the room types. I was shocked that a 5-star hotel would have rooms resembling Hong Kong's 'coffin homes.' I had booked for two nights but ended up fleeing after just one. The person who checked me in on the first day suggested we could leave (without explicitly stating that the second night's booking couldn't be canceled). When I actually checked out the next day, a different staff member said I couldn't get a refund, claiming the previous night's receptionist didn't have the authority. It was really frustrating 😓; they just pushed the blame onto temporary staff. This whole experience has taught us a lesson: always remember to keep proof in the future."

The hotel has been tastefully modernised and the accommodation is stylish and comfortable but my hotel bedroom had the most beautiful, traditional French village scene you could imagine. The breakfast is generous and the whole experience was excellent. The owners speak excellent English and could not have been more helpful throughout my stay. A gem - "bijou" in all senses of the word."
