"We arrived at the hotel reception at 8:00 p.m. on May 12 to check in and collect our room key, and we encountered problems we have never experienced before! At first, the check-in procedure only took about 5 minutes for Room 524. However, when we got to our room and opened the door, we realized it was not the room we had booked. This room has two single beds, which is completely different from the double bed room we reserved. We then went back to the reception desk to ask the staff to switch us to a double-bed room. But all three reception staff said they did not have any double-bed rooms. We kept asking further questions. We had booked a double-bed room a week earlier and had already paid all the charges—so why couldn’t they arrange a double-bed room for us? One of the female staff members, who appeared to be of Indian origin, used a translation device to translate into Chinese for us. She pointed out that we had not selected a specific room type, and that guests have no right to choose any room type; we are only allowed to receive whatever room type the hotel assigns. At the same time, she also mentioned that the Room 524 they gave us was much larger than the double-bed room we requested, as if they were offering us an advantage, and that they would not arrange a double-bed room for us. After that, I argued with them multiple times and showed them again and again the confirmation emails and payment emails for our booking. This back-and-forth took more than 45 minutes. During that time, the reception staff treated us very poorly and constantly told us to “wait,” each time requiring us to wait 5–10 minutes before they finally kept talking to me and dragging the process out. Only then did they give us Room 1209. Even so, we still had to take all the luggage that had been placed for Room 524 and move it down to the reception area, and then carry it back up to Room 1209. We finally managed to have dinner only after an hour. Therefore, if you are assessing their service, it should be zero points. I have stayed at the Daiwa Hotel in Kyoto and near Himeji Castle, and I have never encountered this kind of problem. This time, I have completely lost confidence in this hotel group, and I have serious doubts about their integrity. After this, I probably will not book this hotel again. I would really like to understand why the hotel rooms booked through your website have ended up with problems like this. I hope Trip.com can look into it thoroughly, and respond to me within two weeks."

"Room are relative small at the price point compared to other Okinawa hotels I stayed in. Didn't get a room on lower floors facing arena direction which I asked for to avoid traffic noise but lucky that the soundproofing of the room is excellent. The air conditioner smelled moldy when it was operating at above 22 degrees and medium wind speed. Had to t set it at 21.5 in the nights with max wind speed to prevent the musty smell which made the room kind of too chill overnight. The hotel due to eco reasons does not offer complimentary bottle water."

"Stayed for a short 2 nights as I've a morning home flight. Room is CLEAN! Majority of hotels around Japan comes with a decent tub for you to soak in... I'm happy Tissage's 🛁 is spacious & deep. I took my warm soak after a long tiring walk each nights . The window view overseeing the harbour/port is calming however it rained on all my 7 days in Okinawa.. Fortunately on my final night the ☀️ showed up gracefully. Love the initiative that the hotel lobby has a display of few pamphlets of attractions.. Umikagi Terrace Senagajima one really caught my eye. Glad i went! I might only consider its tricky location though, as there's construction works going on during my visit in May . A 11-15mins walk frm hotel gets u to arrive into Asahibashi station. I took /booked a DiDi ride the morning which i had to leave for an international fligh home, a decent fare of ¥ 1950 to Naha airport. All staffs speaks great English! :D Bed is comfy, using Simmons mattress! 👍🏻 ✨ Okinawa works well if you rent a car... public transport is tricky as buses operates on schedule and often the buses were slightly delayed behind time due to traffic congestion. I'd recommend it anyway. 😁 Arigatogozhaimasu Tissage Hotel & staffs."

"The location of the hotel is extremely convenient. It’s simply a two minutes walk to the monorail station undercover. It’s close to the city and shopping area, there is a bus terminal nearby can travel to various tourist spots. The service is good, all staff are friendly and polite, the hotel offered free drinks everyday at the 14/F lounge, it was so relaxing and chill. The shower room is nicely decorated with traditional bath salt sacks, kids like it a lot."

"This property is BEAUTIFUL. I loved every part of our stay. The room was so spacious with thoughtful amenities, the public baths and pool area felt very luxurious and clean, and the location is hard to beat in Naha. The staff are all very kind and thoughtful, many spoke English but even those who didn't were extremely patient with my little Japanese. I would like specifically thank Santosh from the front desk staff. We ran into an issue with our baggage getting delivered in time before our departure to our country and if it wasn't for his help we wouldn't have had a hope of ever seeing that luggage again. His compassion and willingness to help us clueless tourists navigate our options and prepare our luggage for delivery will be remembered for a long time. I will recommend this hotel to any of my friends traveling to Naha!"

"The hotel is right beside the monorail 🚝 and near lots of bus 🚌 stops. Perfect location for exploring Okinawa. There are lots of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. The staff is very helpful and the policy of getting a gift if we ask the room to not be cleaned is great."

"While the room is not big, it is still nice and clean. Best part of the hotel personally was the lounge. Free flow drinks (beer, sale, wine), small bites, snacks and even blue seal ice cream. Hotel entrance is at the back though, and do not expect a grand foyer, just a door for people. Parking is directly behind the hotel, in public space. We picked the 800 yen per day one. Another perk of this hotel is it’s near the ferry port, great if you wish to visit zamami or tokashiki etc!."

"This hotel is not new but is well maintained in my opinion, we had a comfortable 5 nights stay. Located at a quiet corner in Naha city, Naha port with unblock port view. Pleasant experience with the reception though require a little guessing work when the carpark uncle tries to redirect us to the alternate open air hotel carpark, we managed with the given map, a short walk away. Basement parking at the hotel building has very limited lots, often full after sunset. Ice making machine available on our level lobby and notice microwave too at other floor. A short drive from the airport. A bakery, 7-11 and souvenir shop on ground level, complimentary hot spring bath, coin laundry... There is also a supermarket less than 5 minute walk away."

"Fantastic hotel off the touristy area but in a convenient location. Hotel is currently under renovations and the new rooms are spacious and very nice. Breakfast spread is one of the nicest I have had anywhere. Location is local but walkable to some very good restaurants. Highly recommended."
