"Awesome hotel. We had the family room which had 2 double beds and 2 singles. For our family of 5 great. Kids loved the buffet breakfast. Plenty of tuk tuks out front if you want to go into town (5 mins) or airport (20 mins). There is 3 pools. We spent time at a different one each day. We had had a pretty full on trip beforehand so this was the perfect hotel to relax for a bit. Restaurant was good for dinner too. Lots of food options in town too. Good location to get to the port too for any day trips. Highly recommend."

"We had a really great stay at Sunz en Coron. The staff were incredibly accommodating. They kindly allowed us to rebook after our flight was cancelled, which we truly appreciated. On top of that, they even upgraded us to a family room at no extra cost, which made our stay even more comfortable. From the moment we arrived, we felt very welcome. The room was clean, fresh-smelling, and looked exactly like the photos, if not better. It’s always a relief when a place lives up to expectations. The plated breakfast was also a highlight for us. It was consistently delicious and very filling, a great way to start the day before heading out. The location is also very convenient, close to the town proper. There’s not a lot of restaurants nearby, and but we found ourselves frequently going to McDonald’s and Doble Asabor since they’re just about a 5-minute walk away. For days when we felt too tired to head out, using Backride Pinas for food delivery was a great option. What we really liked as well was how quiet the environment was compared to staying right in the town proper. It felt more relaxed and peaceful, especially at night. If you want a more peaceful stay away from the noise and busyness of the town center, this place is a great choice. Overall, it was a smooth and pleasant experience, and we’d definitely consider staying here again."

"Hotel was nice but not the friendly bunch of staff. We were travelling with young kids and they had zero facility and flexibility for kids. Kept referring to hotel policy for everything. Worst of all they refused to serve packed breakfast for a 4 year old andgave the reason that it’s our hotel policy , ridiculous…!!!"

"Stayed here for 4 nights. Great location in heart of Coron. 4 minute walk to pier for island tours. Can book all tours through the hotel cheaper than any online vendor like klook ect. Room clean but a lot of ants in the room every day and we did not have any food in the room. We were killing 10+ ants on the bed every evening which wasn’t ideal. Staff very attentive and helpful. Was a power cut for 8 hours on our final day which was very annoying as no aircon but that was island wide so can’t blame hotel for that. Overall good budget stay but do not expect luxury."

"We had a wonderful time at The Funny Lion in Coron. The rooms were incredibly spacious and kept spotlessly clean every single day. We loved the thoughtful extra touches, like the complimentary cookies and the delicious, fresh daily fruit shake. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the staff. They are incredibly friendly and made us feel so welcome by addressing us by our names every day. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would love to come back!"

"Our stay is good. Staff are always smiling and very helpful. Location is good enough. Not very far from the town proper but still quite a walk so riding the tricycle is preferable specially when traveling with a senior citizen. Pool water quality can be improved. Hotel facilities have the minimum but a gym can be added. Room amenities can be improved as well like by having more electric outlet or providing an iron. Housekeeping service can improve also by having cleaner bed sheets with no stain at all like even a tiny bit one (for all the clean freaks out there haha) in all the beds in the room and by not entering the room when the do not disturb sign was on (full disclosure: nothing was stolen). I get that the hotel has daily housekeeping but when the sign was on, I wish they follow it because I’m sure that when guests like me wanted the room to be cleaned, we’ll definitely request it. Overall, my family’s stay is still decent (just with those minor points haha) and I definitely recommend this hotel since I can solidly say that staying here is good compared to the others that I read about at the time I’m selecting where to stay for this trip"

"We stayed here for 3 nights. The pools are big and clean. Most staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is OK for basic needs. It is about 15 mins to get to the downtown area by a tricycle/TuTu. I also stayed a night in another hotel Corona Westown Resort which is only 3 mins away from here. I would definitely choose here again on my next visit."

"Butter sweet really my mother passed away after the first day we checked in staff were phenomenal caring and attentive front desk and Esperanza who came to Assist at the hospital - everyone was supportive and helpful - and for that I am eternally grateful- bathroom could have been cleaner - but that’s being critical x"

"Great hotel. It's a really big hotel too. Everything you need is here. A short 10 min motorcycle ride to town, the hotel organised the motorcycle rental very easily. Good wifi and a few pool areas are here. Keep in mind if you're using smart as your cell provider there is no service here but I think that's the case for everywhere outside of the town. When you land at the airport they have staff there to organise transport without even having to tell them which was a nice touch. I would stay here again without hesitation"

"I had such a wonderful and relaxing stay at this resort. From the moment I arrived, everything felt welcoming and effortless. I was greeted with a refreshing welcome drink, check-in was seamless, and my bags were taken straight to my room which made the arrival feel extra special. The room itself was spacious and very clean. I was pleasantly surprised with welcome chocolates and brownies, which was such a thoughtful touch. The room was fully equipped with everything you’d need: bottled water, a hairdryer, toiletries, a coffee station, and a fridge stocked with drinks and snacks for purchase. It felt comfortable and well-prepared for guests. One thing that really impressed me was the laundry service. They had my clothes washed and returned within three hours, which was incredibly convenient and efficient. The pool area is absolutely stunning and very clean. They have three restaurants on site, which gives great variety. I ordered poolside nachos with a carrot and apple drink and it was delicious. Breakfast is a proper buffet, leaning toward a full English-style spread with plenty of options. That said, I do think the bathroom could use a bit of attention. Water leaked through the shower door when showering, the shower head could benefit from a deep clean, and I noticed a few drain flies. It didn’t ruin my stay, but it’s an area that could definitely be improved. I also experienced a small issue at checkout. They were unable to provide change when I was settling my bill, which delayed things. There were only two staff members assisting with checkout, and although I was scheduled to leave at 6:00am with a breakfast pack, I only managed to leave at 6:30am and unfortunately without the breakfast. Overall, I truly enjoyed my stay. The resort is beautiful, the staff are warm and welcoming, and the overall atmosphere is relaxing. With a little more attention to bathroom maintenance and smoother early-morning checkout coordination, it would be close to perfect. I would still happily return."
