"The location is good, close to train station, bus station and city centre, everything is in walkable distance, a safe yet noisy district. The breakfast doesn’t have great variety, but good enough to fill you up for the whole morning. There was a sewage smell in the bathroom as other guests commented, but I do agree it is the problem of this old city (not caused by the hotel). One thing to improve is the room cleaning, I found hair on the floor mat and bath towel, otherwise that would be perfect."

Everything felt practical and well placed, with no sense of inconvenience. Daily use of the room was simple and intuitive, as all features worked as they should. "This is a relatively new hotel. The rooms are spacious and bright, well-equipped with a king-sized bed, and breakfast is plentiful. It's about a 20-minute walk from the main bus station, but it's right next to the Old Town and has a large supermarket downstairs, which is very convenient. The breakfast spread is great, with a wide variety of fruits. My only minor complaints are due to the hotel's trendy design, which sometimes goes a bit too far in its pursuit of style: the entire wall is a large glass panel. It's lovely for street views during the day, but pulling the curtains at night is a hassle. Also, there's no privacy when stepping out of the shower, forcing you to dry off and get dressed in the wet bathroom itself."

"The stay was pleasant overall. The location is convenient, with a bus stop nearby that makes it easy to reach the city center. However, the night staff at the lobby were less helpful compared to the morning team. We felt quite cold at night and asked for a heater, but unfortunately, none were available. Also, basic bathroom amenities were not provided in the room and had to be requested at the lobby."

"The most satisfying hotel during our 28-day European tour! The location is very good and convenient, not far from the train station and the old town. The room is spacious and comfortable, using L'Occitane amenities. The breakfast is perfect, you can drink champagne and freshly squeezed juice in the morning! Must give full marks!"

"A good hotel for car travel. There is a free parking. The hotel is new, rooms are no exquisite, but clean and with comfortable beds. The hotel smells very nice, there is a small green area for breakfast. Breakfasts are good, only cappuccino for some reason from the apparatus immediately with sugar, not everyone likes sweet cappuccino."

"This place blew me away. Spacious room and bathroom and it was the cheapest room in the building. Super comfy bed. A quick walk to the old town. The Finnish sauna, spa and pool is great for relaxing. It is a very high standard hotel. The best. You would have to be hard to please to give this place a bad review."

"I recently stayed at Austria Trend Hotel Ljubljana, and I must say it was a fantastic experience. The hotel is impeccably clean and well-maintained, and the staff was attentive and accommodating. Upon arrival, we requested a room on the top floor, and they immediately granted our wish with no hassle—a great start to our stay. It rained on the first day, but the hotel staff came to the rescue by promptly providing us with umbrellas when we asked. This small gesture made a big difference and showed their commitment to guest comfort. The breakfast was truly the highlight of our stay. The buffet spread was extensive, with something for everyone. From a cereal and nuts bar to a coffee station offering filter coffee and a variety of fresh juices, the options were endless. There was a cheese and meat section, a wonderful selection of breads, omelettes, sausages, fried eggs, bacon, chia pudding, fresh fruits, and even lemon-infused water. Everything was absolutely delicious—easily the best buffet breakfast we've ever had. Typically, buffet breakfasts can be a bit underwhelming, but this one was in a league of its own. The location of the hotel was also very convenient. Being close to a bus station made it easy for us to travel to and from the city center effortlessly. Overall, our stay at Austria Hotel Ljubljana exceeded expectations in every way. From the thoughtful service to the incredible breakfast and convenient location, it was a memorable experience. Highly recommended!"

"The location is convenient. Take the flixbus from Salzburg to Ljubljana bus terminal at 4 am. There are also city buses that go to the hotel nearby. It is only ten minutes' walk to the hotel. Taking a taxi from the bus terminal to the hotel is only 6€. The staff was friendly and kind. We arrived at 5 o'clock in the morning and could sit in the lobby and rest for a few hours before storing our luggage and going out for sightseeing. Breakfast was rich and delicious."
