I came with the night flight so this hotel was just a bed to sleep before I move to another hotel. Overall nothing much to complaint as it’s only 22 USD. The room has just bed, safe, AC and bath room has 2 pcs of soap and 1 small bottle of shampoo. That’s all. The staffs are nice and friendly. The location is good. The hotel location is good; close to the famous temple Kek Lok Si and Penang Hill as well as many coffee shop, food market and small restaurants.. but the hotel looks worn out and only the very basic are provided. The hotel does not provide breakfast. Lobby area has an unpleasant smell (coming from the drainage just outside the hotel main entrance. Hope they could do something about it as it’s not appealing at all for the hotel. We stayed for 2 nights but no housekeeping was done. No hand towels, only 2 bath towels that looks very old though still clean. Staff at the reception counter were quite helpful. On the whole, for the price it’s still worthwhile.

Excellent location, walking distance to all tourist attractions and the CAT bus stops are just 5mins walk. The hotel has a traditional Chinese atmosphere,. A small swimming pool. The staff is helpful. One senior staff sounds n look fierce n not friendsly. Room, toilet n bathroom are clean. Water Dispenser is hidden in a living room (for dormitory guesses) no coffee or tea bag provided.

Our stay was absolutely fantastic! Everything was perfect from start to finish. The service really stood out — the staff at check-in and check-out were incredibly welcoming and efficient, making everything smooth and easy. Special thanks to Mr. Hong, Mr. Adi and Mr. Maran! The room was spotless and very comfortable, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The rooftop bar was a highlight, with stunning views, and attentive service. The pool area was also amazing — relaxing, clean, and beautifully maintained. Overall, an excellent experience that I would highly recommend to anyone!

It a old hotel, but well kept👍. The TV is ancient. The hotel needs to refurbish ASAP.🙏 The staffs is all very friendly and approachable. Except 1 staff at the reception during my checkout. It 11.30am on 29Nov, when I arrived at the reception. A Chinese male staff( slightly plump) just said to me : checking out. Without any smile in a uninterested and bored tone. Every staffs has did a wonderful job , but it takes only one staff to make it a not so pleasant visit. First of all, as a service provider especially in the front line. The basic mannerisms and greetings must be present. Like; Good morning sir. But none of it was displayed by him. To make it worse, he didn't smile at all, and doesn't seem to be interested in serving his guests. Other than that, everything is awesome especially a male malay reception staff. I forgot his name, he has displayed a friendly and helpful image to everyone.

The hotel is great, staff are impeccable in their attentiveness to the guest. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast buffet was absolutely outstanding, with an abundance of choices catered to satisfy every taste. The pool and gym are also fantastic, with the added convenience of being open 24/7, to put in an early morning workout. Spacious and very well equipped and maintained. However, our stay was not without faults and there are definitely some things management needs to address: - the noise from the elevator automatic announcements is absurd! the ”doors opening/closing” alerts are constant and audible from neighboring floors as well as your own.If you stay in a room numbered xx15 or xx16, be advised you will not have a pleasant time - we asked to change rooms immediately as soon as we realized this. - elevators can be SLOW, magma slow. it can take a long time to move around if you are staying in a higher floor. We stayed for 2 nights and during that period 2 separate elevators were down for maintenance. It took us a total of 15 minutes to move from one floor to the other, after getting our room changed (for reasons stated above) and new keycards. - the level from street noise audible in the room is just inadmissible at a supposed 5-star hotel level, at least in the rooms facing the main road. These rooms have, inexplicably, a single pane of glass and very tall windows, which makes soundproofing pretty much nonexistent - mat rempit bikes racing in the dead of night, the call to prayer blasting from the loudspeakers of the mosque nearby before 6am, drilling from the construction site nearby, and other nuisances that definitely disturbed my sleep.

Stayed at Jen many times already. Good location for going around George town by foot or by bus/Grab. Breakfast has a lot of choices, I like the fresh fruits & the freshly squeezed juice. Must try the Char Koay Teow, delicious!

Love it love it love it. I got a view to kill for. The service is great, check in was smooth, the staffs are friendly and professional. It’s a central area so main tourist attraction like Chulia street, Hin Bus Depot, Chew Jetty are walkable distance. I walk alone in midnight from chulia street and it’s pretty safe. Shopping malls are near by so can easily access. Breakfast was good. But I think the pool area can be improved to look lively. It’s pretty dull so I didn’t even go for swimming. Over all, this is definitely the place I will recommend and will stay again next time.

Gotten assigned a corner room which seems to be larger as compared to other rooms in the middle. The room is very spacious and comfortable. Amenities are plentiful and the best thing is the complimentary drinks and snacks in the room. The gym equipment are quite comprehensive and they have saunas as well. They provide buggy service to the other side (another hotel under the same name) and shopping mall (limited to Gurney Plaza only). One thing to mention, the LED lighting looked nice on the exterior of the hotel, but in contrast it is a bit annoying when staying in the room. Forced to shut the curtain to block out the lights.

The first time check in to the hotel. Short vacation for 2 days one night. No deposit..The hotel room just ok. AC not faction well but the room have wall fan. The parking is free provided by the hotel. The staff hotel is helpful and friendly. Easy to get the food and drinks by walking distance.
